My vacuum pump was continuously running and the reason was a leaking brake booster. The aluminum had a hole in it at its back side where it is attached to the vehicle body. It was rotten away because of the blanket insulator which touched it, so it was always wet there in addition with winter salt. I successfully replaced my brake booster, cleared code and everything is fine.
Hey MTechGuy, love your videos the clearest and most informative videos, with great detail and tips. I have recently bought an m5 e60 and sometimes i get random lights on dash, such as transmission fault one day, but then a few hours later it comes off. The other day engine light came on a few hours later it came off. Everything tuns smoothly, both engine and gearbox are perfect. Is this a common problem with the m5s or what do you think it could be. Any ideas would be much appreciated and again your videos are the best !!👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you i will need to check the battery, because when I OBD check they come up then a few hours later are all good 0 faults. Recently said fuel sensor fault but then cleared a few hours later to all good. Its very confusing. Thank you very much, i appreciate the help !
Very informative, as always!

Not common, I would first make sure the battery is healthy, and then read the fault codes and go from there
