Finally, pulled the trigger and bought a 2022 BMW R nineT Option 719. Pick it up on Friday; incredibly psyched! Bought this to replace my 1250GS.

Thank you, that was very interesting. I had an R1150r before they became water cooled and the R9T is very similar to it, I might be tempted to get an R9T pure just out of nostalgia for my old bike. Loved it.

I ride an r1100s and I still want a sport stance when I ride.
You can customize yourself the standard R9T to become the racer😉
I have a Racer and yes the riding position is radical but I love it! It looks cool and I have never had a bike that so many people have come up to me and said what a beautiful looking bike it is. If you don’t want to customise an R9T I’m sure there must be low mileage Racers that are available 🇬🇧🏍
Maybe you can search some customization brands that are not bmw,I'm sure they have conversion kits, even more with the nine t which is very easy to convert.
You do know how to hang on aftermarket accessories don't you ? ..then get a 1/4 café race fairing and hang it on the front of an urban GS ..and tada !!!!
R1100S rider here too. I'm loving these Rnine t bikes, especially that grey one with the rear hump and little front fairing.

Love @ first sight is real. Been browsing UA-cam for the last few days now looking for a new bike growing tire of my sport motor I want something comfy with that classic modern look. I hope it's intuitive and fun to ride as good as it looks. Don't know way BMW bikes always get rag on by cycle culture. Well going have to see the nearest Bemer dealer soon. Oh question is it good for city riding?

Would love to make the Urban GS like a modern HP2 Enduro. With the black and yellow would be very nice. Or a all new HP2 Enduro! One of my dream bikes.

The Pure, Urban GS
and Scramblers could do with nicer fork finishes or design. They still look like cheap alternatives to the R NineT one.
I can see your option of performance and "looks" but so did the front forks that cost $10k on the Honda RC250R two strokes of "pop" Yoshimura the world exclusive MotoGP tuner ever ! ..I also see you don't know shit from apple butter
