Oh the theatre, I love it. :) I rode the R Nine T as a loan bike while my K1300S was being serviced. Love.... :) If I could have them both I would. Me and the K1300S are good friends now, we've done about 110,000 KM and we've been together for nearly 6 years. There's another friendship :)
Why i prefer this kinda bike..cafe racer@ vintage bike bcoz of the time...precious time left in the bike...i couldnt turn back the time...but the bike has it own stories...so when i have my own bike later...it will bring me back to the time where i cnnt go...old things remain precious history...free ride & no attached to whatever profile...just free ride...beyond is simply undescribe.....all we need passion & love ...to all free rider cheers you all are my hero...

I think the marketing video is excellent, the setting is awesome and it very nearly made me decide on purchasing the R nine T which I also think is a great machine to ride just like the previous BMWs that I have owned, The R 90 T has real character and soul, ok so it is ugly just like most BMWs but that doesn't matter when you are riding it. Sadly however having had so many issues with BMWs and the non existence of UK BMW customer services, I swore to myself I would never have another, which was a good choice as I now own 2 triumphs (Explorer and a Truxton R) which are 100% reliable and also great to ride, and my wife has just bought the T120, if only BMW really cared about their customers. but still a great video and well done to the designers.
I can't understand the negative comments of this, the good thing of Internet is that it makes us freedom to choose and consume content, if you don't like this just do't see it. The video is cool and the bike even more!

Watching this video is like to live my dream. I'm crazy about long tour riding on cafe racer. Once I have done it to the Ladakh from my City. But this time definately going on a cafe racer like continental GT 650. Ohhhoo budget matters.
I love bikes this much and own one of these, and instead of letting it sit, I ride it daily both on and off-road. Jumped it many times and wouldn't hesitate to ride across the country on it. Although I have modded it a lot... HA!
I love my BMW R NineT , its a joy to ride; have owned a BMW 650 Scarver, BMW R1150R Rockster, BMW Boxercup Replica and a BMW K1200R ; should have kept the Boxercup Replica ; but the R NineT is a epic .
I don't know about hipster swag... I used to watch my dad open and fix back his bike..used to help him mod stuff onto it.. Simple things..this bike seems to have that old school look But with BMW class engineering underneath it and I hear that it's also easy to mod one. Respect that.
I agree the concept looked a bit more "aeronautic" with all that alloy while the original choice of exhaust and front light options made it more road warrior-like.
This bike is still by far the best looking thing out there! Look´s good, sounds´s good, must be very good.
