Hi we're the devs of En Garde! Thank you for playing and enjoying our game! We actually called it "the Dark Souls of swashbuckler games" as a joke sometimes during development, but never thought we'd end up in your videos alongside actual Souls-like games :')
game looks great!
Game looks cool, is it on Xbox?
Game looks like a huge amount of fun and really pretty! Good luck w the rest of development!
The game seems so fun and I hope you can produce new mechanics/environmental techniques to keep the game interesting, I would still probably play it without the new stuff lol
Game looks amazing! Keep it up!
Episode 20 is a pretty huge milestone, so I just wanted to say I really do appreciate everyone who watches.
I never originally intended on this to be a series and I fully expected that first video to bomb since it was pretty different from what I did before. Still very surreal to see that one video evolve into a series where I regularly get the game developers themselves in the comment section. Thanks for watching and thanks for letting me share 160+ interesting, entertaining, strange, funny, and incredible games with you all.
Congrats on making it to episode 20
When are you going to do Eternal Ring, tho?
Admit it, you just wanted to be first 🎉
Congrats, homie! Well done and thanks for going to the effort 🙏🏽
Please play Let it Die. It has unique aesthetic and pretty odd mechanics for a soulslike.
I recommend The Tarnishing of Juxtia
Hi, Devs of Tyrant's Realm here. Thank you, Iron Pineapple, for your continuous support of our team. Your feedback was brutal but honest. We appreciate it, and we will take it into account for our future development. We were aware that our game's content felt lacking, which is why we are focusing on creating new unique content moving forward. We have just added a new rune meta-game feature to the demo that allows players to experiment with different builds. Now, it's time to get back to creating new gear, enemies and zones.
Personally, I think secret rooms and such would be a good fit and would greatly expand the exploration aspect of the game. Anyway, it already looks promising and I'm curious to see how it will develop. I'm probably gonna buy it.
You don't have to listen to youtube critics, they might not align with the direction you want the game to go in. You can't satisfy everyone, hopefully you end up with a game you're happy with.
Good luck! The games looks super cool
@@CuriousCauliflowerX The thing is content and variety is the bread and butter of roguelites. We'll just have to wait until a full release since that only really shows itself after multiple runs.
@@CuriousCauliflowerX Don't you think that if they didn't want to listen to that feedback, they wouldn't?
This series is slowly becoming feature-length movies with every new entry and I'm all for it
He lives of reviewing souls like. Thats a strange twist of his carreer.
Iron Pineapple thank you for playing the Bad Boro demo!!! It sounded like you had fun despite the crashes and difficulty - you've put giant smiles on our faces!
We're working hard on it - there was a patch released just earlier today actually. That being said we're going to continue working on fixing all the bugs (thanks for posting the bug report pics lol) and polishing it in general!
Also you totally aren't supposed to throw the dog up that ladder haha. That must have broken in a recent patch and no-one caught it!
A very cool looking game! Is it just 2 developers working on the game, like he said?
Bros! Your game is soaked in style! I'm curious if it will get a couch co-op mode at all someday to play with a friend. It looks like so much fun! This kind of arcade vibe craves it! Especially with all those enemies. 😂Love the music so much! Definitely following you.
You’re game has such an amazing vibe and the soundtrack is sooo good. I’m really excited to play it!
Good luck on your project.
That moment in En Garde where the enemy jumps up the table for high ground but you kick from underneath them felt so real like from a old movie. So incredibly simple yet so cool
it feels like a classic spanish movie flick in a game
Yeah, like those old swashbuckling movies. The Crimson Pirate with Burt Lancaster :D
I had the same feel, like I was watching Zorro.
That was an amazing little detail that makes the game so much more fun and having style
Reminded me a lot of Jackie Chan movies, using props and environment as comedy fighting implements
En Garde and Bad Boro look really cool and fun! They each have a recognizable aesthetic, a variety of interesting mechanics that interact well with the encounters, and Bad Boro's boss design was awesome. Also, "Twinkified Pinocchio" made me guffaw lol.
“Playing this game is making me want to rewatch The Princess Bride”
The TRUE essence of a Soulslike
Princess Bride is truly the first Souls-like. It's got a mysterious sword-wielding main character, quirky side characters, hidden paths, and a system where Wesley dies and comes back without his stuff. Not to mention Fezzik, Dread Lord of Cinder!
EDIT: And of course, a deadly swamp level.
Even has a roll mechanic.
@@SeenAGreatLight damn this has forever changed my perception of TPB
Hello, thank you for visiting Krat.
We are glad that you enjoyed your brief visit.
Many other visitors shared their opinions regarding the parry & dodge mechanics which we are further developing before our grand invitation.
We hope to see you soon again in Krat.
If the game does well make an alice in wonderland souls like :D
The dodge was fine, I usually just clicked it 2-3 times. I got through even the 3rd boss, which most people said had to be perfect parried, without parrying using dodge. In fact, he only took me maybe 4-5 tries using these techniques.
the mechanic works for me it's just a matter of animation and timing so it feels like i'm sidestepping/tucking under an attack instead of "magically" not taking dmg even tho his arm is fully into my model because I pressed at the right time. Looking forward to playing the game
The demo was great. Stoked for the full release!!
The game looks and feels great!
On the difficulty though, I think the reason people are so divided on it is due to the parry system. Some of the stronger enemies in the demo kind of need you to be good at parrying and taking advantage of groggy, otherwise they feel like damage sponges that hit like freight trucks.
Fighting them normally is an absolute nightmare, but the moment you learn how to parry them they become largely trivial.
I'm guessing that's why some people have a lot of trouble, and some get through it just fine.
Hi Iron Pineapple. We are the devs of Rudra: A Tale of Time. Thank you so much for playing our game and sharing that experience with your audience. We all were excited to see you defeat the final boss. Your video gave us good feedback and we have just published a new update fixing the graphical issues that you faced.
THIS GAME SEEMS SO INTERESTING THE YUGA CYCLES HAVE ALWAYS FASCINATED ME SO MUCH! WHAT A GREAT CONCEPT FOR A GAME! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
As a hindu myself. I have always wanted more ganes likes like Raji and stuff who dive deep into Hindu mythology (maybe a Mahabharata game lol that would be sick).
But lots and lots and lots of development, marketing and resources would be needed to make that game shine. Hope you guys keep working on it and just a prototype next time i hear about it ❤
I was interested to learn about Hindu mythology in this game, very cool!
FAF
Keep at it :)
I just wanted to say (knowing it won't be read) that this series has inspired me to work parttime on a little soulslike game of my own. Probably wont be released anywhere- I just had a fun idea for a mechanic I wanted to try- but it's still a fun ride so far. Excited to see the next video!
He didn't just read it, Iron Pineapple himSELF loved your comment! You better do your best to complete that little souls-like while taking care of yourself mentally or Iron Pineapple will always be missing something from his content. Good luck !!!

@@burritodog3634 I now admit I was incorrect
DUDE! I was laughing so fucking hard at En Garde! That game looks like a blast! That team definitely has something great in the works.
The mechanics of that first game just seem so fluid and the gameplay as a whole just absolute fun
and you can pet the chicken!
It looks so charming. From the dialogue, music, artstyle and even some funny interactions with the enviroment.
yeah, solid 2 AA effort, at least from what was shown.
Any game that have a realistic fighting choreography is a win for me
It’s a good change from how depressing most souls borne games are
Hi, we are the devs of Strayed Lights, thank you so much for showcasing our game! The game original difficulty was meant to make it an "accessible souls-like", to allow everyone to experience the flow of combat in a forgiving way.
For more skillful players we are now releasing a free content update with new difficulty modes, and there's also a challenge boss rush mode for the post-game!
Also the game will be discounted on Steam during the Summer Sales starting this June 29th!
the art style is soooo fucking cool !
Bro Got All Dev Saying Thanks 💀
@@m1stq933fr lol
I love the art style of your game and the use of the colors with the gameplay. Definitely gonna check it out tomorrow!
Your game's aesthetics are absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to pick it up.
Bleak Faith definitely seems like it's supposed to be Shadow of the Collossus meets Dark Souls. A shame it didn't seem to pan out, because that's a legitimately cool idea.
The game world looks really cool but the jank is off the charts!
I can't even really explain why, but as a guy who grew up in the early 2000s, Bad Boro really spoke to me - I hope the devs continue their great work on it!
Same! Idk why but the style kinda reminded me of Pajama Sam 😂 after googling it it doesn’t really look too similar but I get what you’re saying fs
it's got that newgrounds type art style
I'd love an eventual "where are they now" video where you take some of the early access games and share your thoughts once they've fully been released although I wouldn't be surprised if you've not already made plans for this
Good idea, since 20 episodes seen enough to have a couple of releases but that still sounds like a one off video than a whole series, would still be good to see tho
Bump
@@gabriellarena2256considering a lot of the games are very underground thus likely to be abandoned you probably would only have enough for 1 vid anyways
Great idea.
great idea!!
Fun fact: Speaking of student projects, En Garde was actually an award winning student project years ago, they made so much progress since then, the game looks stunning now.
@@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist8 i know you just believe in jesus and stuff, but atleast go to a religious video, and not a video like this
They're spamming.
Yeah! I remember watching Jacksepticeye play the demo! I checked and it was 4 years ago.
It's improved so much!
@@Hexer404 I was thinking jack played this long ago, can’t believe the devs are still working on this game
😊
I could definitely see Lies of P having a late game item that let's you translate what the puppets are saying in NG+ as a little treat for lore chasers. Looking forward to the full game reviews.
im just seeing this comment now, you are completely correct just begun my NG+ and the subtitles are regular. Nice one
Its...incredibly tragic to learn what they keep yelling at you lmao
That's exactly what happened, good job. :D
I can't stop playing the lies of P demo, I beat it 3 separate times each trying different things. My last playthrough getting your weight below 30% for the light weight class and holy crap your dodges are awesome
Everything i saw in this game reminded me of bloodborne
But the game looked pretty good
Bad Boro seems like it just has so much effort and personality put into it, I would absolutely love to play the full game. Aaand the devs channel is already at 3k subs so I'm not the only one :)
I agree
Game legit went from souls-like to bullet hell real quick lol
Tons of personality for sure, (and not saying this negatively just I think this was the point) heavily inspired by Alien Hominid which is really cool to see. I loved that game as a kid
It seems to have a lot going for it.
But, as controversial as it is to say about a souls-like, it seems they need to lower the tankiness of enemies across the board, especially for the easy mods, attacks just don't seem satisfying. It just seems like "difficulty" for difficulties sake
Reminds me of old school Newgrounds in all the right ways.
Fun fact. In Lies of P the person called Sophia ( lady in blue who acts like a fire keeper) is voiced by the same person who voiced Millicent in Elden Ring
I don't know for sure, but I'd swear Geppetto is Margit.
@@alessiomessersi2964it is margit
@@retiredcaptain2078 It is?? Wow. He's also Elias in Diablo 4(I believe, he sounds VERY similar)
Is Sophia the Blue Fairy analog, because that’s what I’m seeing from her design
@@MrMaradokYes.
Movie in Netflix = damn I wish I had time.
1,5h Iron Pineapple video= Don't mind if I do! 👀
The difference is that this guy makes good content and netflix movies ate netflix movies
Bleak Faith could improve but I think you're right that it's too far gone in fundamental areas to really be salvaged. However, I think what might be the proper route, especially if they take this as a learning experience and take to heart critiques like yours, is to make their improvements in a new game. I know that's easier said than done, but they are on to something, and for everyone's sake, especially their own, is to start fresh. They really are onto something with a sense of discovery, creature design, user made checkpoints, and scale of world.
The comedic timing of En Garde is scary good, I don't know how they timed the cauldron falling on an enemy mechanic but that was amazing
Probably despawn it during explosion and after delay spawn it on top random enemy with falling animation.
@@AbshidJust checked the game, the cauldron really does fly up into the air and hones in on a random goon
@@jpc4803 If that's the case then kudos to the team, that's actually a bit harder to pull off
@@jpc4803thats so cool. I just imagined it landed on the first person to lose all of their health after it flies up into the air
@@who3730 Pretty sure that if it's the case described, it plots a bezier and then animates the pot through it, still not exactly cup of cake to time the animation with all of that
En Garde immediately went in my wishlist. The art style, the setting, and that sweet gameplay. So my jam.
I think the other thing that intrigues me the most about it is that it’s a little light hearted. I don’t see why the soulslike gameplay is almost always accompanied by dread, depression and bleakness.
@@JimboCruntz Because most of the souls-like games were just trying to rip off Dark Souls and don't want to exert effort into making something new. Since Dark Souls' atmosphere is bleak, they will make their games bleak too. I'm so glad En Garde decided to make something of its own rather than making a game from a checklist. This is really a welcome change.
Makes me want to rewatch Puss in Boots 2
feels more like Sifu with fencing than anything soulslike
@@shayposting Waiting for the Puss in Boots character model swap mod
Something I think you missed with Lies of P is that the damage you take from Blocking is recovered automatically, and hastened by landing blows, ala Rally
Played Strayed Lights recently. They added a harder difficulty, so you get the spectacle and music but the game actually requires learning and skill to beat. Its changes all the movesets to be more complex. A little insane, but still fun.
The physics for En Garde are incredible for such an unknown game
I remember jacksepticeye played en garde years ago, i'm surprised it has no reviews on steam despite having millions of views on his video
@@jogoegel1279 It's not out on steam till august.
@@jogoegel1279 That's because it was the different En Garde. There was an older version of it which was basically a student project and this is probably their full fledged game attempt.
Outrageously charming.
@@fireplacegamesfucking incredible game
From what we saw in the video, I think you just made the first game, En Garde, blow up! It actually looked like a decently quality game with a cool world, cool art, and amazing design!
It was already one of the top demos in Steam Next Fest.
I think it had already blown up. Every article I've read about Steam Next Fest puts it as their game of the event.
I loved how long the Lies of P demo was, and I'm REALLY hyped for it after playing it. It has some really cool mechanics like the weapon part combining and such. Can't wait to play the full game.
Lies of P turned out to be a masterpiece. Best soulslike outside of fromsoft and even better than some fromsoft games. So hyped for the future of this studio.
En garde has incredible animations, like it's clearly a comedic game, but that's some really solid fencing right there.
It reminds me of the old Zoro movies where the comedy was played through ridiculous feats and tricks
Loved it when pinapple kicked the table away to get the guy of. Great attention to detail
en garde doesn't seem like a souls like but it's the kind of environment I always hope for in a souls like. Something lighthearted, bright, with a mix of silly antics with good fight choreography. I can dig it.
Reminds me of "Strength of the sword" to be honest
I'd love a Pirates Of The Caribbean style game on En Garde's engine.
definitely seems very sekiro-like minus the environmental object interactions
Combat feels more like a batman game or maybe even an AC
It had an earlier demo which was more like Assassin's creed, with some parkouring on chandeliers and beams.
Bad Boro is exactly why I'm watching your videos ! Glad you made it into a series, it's funny and useful, so keep it up !
25:35 "Caught my attention almost immediately just from the screenshots alone."
Me too pal.
I dont care how vague the "souls-like" definition has to get, please never stop doing these. The genuinely life-changing spotlight you put on indie devs is something I cant get enough of and I've played so many amazing games I never would've even heard of if not for this series.
yeah
Dang, En Garde knew what it wanted to be and absolutely went for it. The fact they put in various unique interactions is really good.
Great vid, IP! I love this series of videos and am surprised how short this one felt despite being 1.3 hours long. Good job showcasing all these unique and unknown games! I always find something to add to my wishlist (En Garde and Bad Boro particularly look amazing).
Glad to see you enjoyed Lies of P. Was excited before, but after playing the demo and watching you play, I'm convinced it's a great game. Thanks for 20 episodes of this fun as well!
38:00 if you use the gesture "show clothing" next to her after getting the outfit she gifts you, she has extra dialogue and there is another "your springs are reacting"
Looks like you have to act like a human as much as possible to have your springs react, which might be for a good ending
It's pinnoccios nose.
@@mrbork7218 how would it be considered a lie if you just show her your clothing?
@@sakuyaizayoi1945lying because he really isn't human but is acting like one, maybe?
@@GrenzRell yeah it would definitely have to play into the "real boy" thing, seems somewhat loosely like eating the third of an umbilical cords in Bloodborne for its 'secret' ending
That second game is really impressive, it shows how vision and passion for a project can outshine it's budget
Just remember that one and two man teams can make absolutely phenomenal titles. Hollow Knight and Undertale were done by tiny teams. So I have a lot of hope that it'll be great
Signalis also had an extremely small team!
@@TJ20232 A small team can often mean a well focused project. Way less ideas pulling a project in different directions.
@@lifetake3103 Holds true for any project. I've experienced it first hand with mod development and it can be a giant burden, especially when its people who can't implement it themselves. This might not seem like a problem with game development and with small indie teams it almost always isn't because you don't have room/time/money for people who can't contribute to handling the workload, but now imagine a AAA company and a general director/manager who answers directly to completely incompetent board members.
And Stardew Valley is one person, and after all its updates it's honestly a masterpiece of a game.
One of my favorite series on youtube. The fact that you are actually making a noticeable impact to these developers and bringing attention to great games that only failed in marketing is awesome.
And the best part is these games are actually ones I have not heard of, and not just a slightly underrated indie game with thousands of reviews that every youtuber is talking about.
It took a while to finish but i always love this series, some of the things go straight on my wishlist and even the games i would't play myself usually has something unique that's still nice to see that it's out there! Looking forward to the next one!~
En Garde is impressively polished, and I love the Spanish setting. I hate that we have so many video games about so many alternate worlds, but so few of them actually explore real-world locations and cultures. We get a lot of (edit: English-speaking) European-inspired fantasy, Japanese urban settings, and of course the US, but so little of the rest of the world. Assassin's Creed is one of the few AAA series that does it.
It's like Disney for actual adults lol. Who would've thought it would work so well?
Too bad assassin's creed games nowadays are very boring and needlessly long
Spain is also Western Europe
There was the Uncharted games, but they were presented in a very "Hollywood" fashion, which could make things feel shallow if that makes sense.
@@lothara.schmal5092 You know what they mean, central western europe, germanic settings
En Garde looks legit great. Gives me a 3rd person Dark Messiah of Might and Magic vibe, and that was a blast. Hoping for some suspiciously low hanging chandeliers and ice magic to really get things going :D
REALLY hope they'll port it to console. My toaster can't run that 😅
I mean, if Bleak Faith can be that impressive yet imperfect with 3 people... if they can get a handful more to iron out bugs, shrink the levels and make them fun to navigate, make a waypoint or shortcut system that makes sense, tweak the animations, and order pizzas, damn baby, you got a stew. That said, I would never play for longer than an hour right now!
Man I always found your channel interesting because of the From Soft stuff, and this under the radar souls games series is amazing too. I love that a lot of devs are showing up. Some of the games featured I already had, but I'm definitely buying some of the ones that I didn't know about.

30:49 That is one of the worst, best, and most daunting feelings in these kinds of games. When you go into a boss arena, do 1% damage a swing, it slaps you to death in three hits and you're thinking 'Ah, ok, no worries, this is the typical scripted bossfight I'm supposed to lose.' Hard agree. Ik he’s a souls channel, but I’d even like if he branched out at some point and just start steam dumpster diving for non souls likes too
This might be my favorite series on youtube without even having played dark souls, pls keep em coming!
Honestly some of these are actually so amazing, i'm always happy to see you bring out some hidden gems into the light!~
En Garde looks incredibly fun! Like a zorro game
the music sounded straight out of Puss in Boots
1hr, 19 minutes and 21 seconds of joy awaits us. Thank you Iron Pineapple :)
The first game almost has a nostalgic feeling to it. It's such a gamey game, like something I'd play as a kid on the xbox 360. I feel like if it had a bigger budget for marketing and a little more difficulty it could be more popular.
Wait Wait Wait! I just start and already "En Garde" looks so damn cool!
The steam dumpster diving sure became one of my favorite _series_ on youtube. And with time passing we get more and more really cool "Soul-like" to see and play!
Honestly, I love how respectful dude is, even when he doesn't like the game.
This is why I love this series. I never would have heard of en garde and now it’s a game I’m super excited for.
Really really enjoyed this episode. Interesting games. Hope to see another 20 episodes!
Just wanted to say that I'm glad I watched the whole video, and this is one of the best channels on UA-cam, keep up the good work.
En Garde is one of the coolest looking games I think I've ever seen. It's the classic adventure movie turned into a game.
I'm kind of hoping they release skins later on referencing those classic movies (like Robin Hood or The Court Jester)

Bad Boro and Radio the Universe look AWESOME. I hope with new attention the devs will continue their work and finish them. Absolutely incredible stuff.
Seems like w/ BB they do that lazy thing for artificial difficulty by just adding shit tons of enemies.
I’ve been playing the game since early beta was open for game testing the devs are very hands on with trying to tune the game to as much as it can be. All encounters are manageable once you get used to spacing out the enemies
I gotta wonder about Radio though.
Like, sure, it appears to be actively developed. But, looking at some communications from the dev in various places, I'm reminded of people who are happy to tinker at something forever but who will never commit to an end.
Could be wrong, it's just an impression, but a decade of development, planned and missed release dates, an as yet undetermined release date, a bunch of other stuff that would be too long to list. I get the sense this is a 'the perfect being the enemy of the good' scenario.
@@rainbowkrampus gives strong star citizen vibes in terms of developement
@@synka5922 I wouldn't go that far. It seems like the dev was learning as they went. So a lot of time was no doubt dedicated to butting up against the boundaries of their knowledge and figuring out how to overcome them.
It's really just the last few years of updates that I saw that made me think this might turn into a forever project.
I totally get it too, assuming it is indeed the case. Spending that much time on anything, you'd want it to be perfect. But in my experience, perfect isn't a thing that actually exists. It's a trap that we can hide our insecurities in.
I'm literally right at the end of lies of P. Hearing him go "gepetto did you do all this?" BRUH CHILLLLLL lmao
your videos are always great! thank you!!! One recommendation I have is I would like to see your top recommended game (from the games played in the video) at the end. I know you do a review of each video but I think i would like a big picture thought
En Garde looks one of the most fun and innovative game since like the PS2 era to be honest... Looks amazing as well
I was skeptical of Bad Boro at first, but I see a lot of influences from games like The World Ends with you and Omori with the design if the dog. The environment effects, while not as flashy as En Garde still seemed impressive, with fun ideas like the syringes hiding in the trash. And the idea of a hostile escort mission is actually genius, what a way to innovate a quest type that has been done to death. I could imagine that kind of mechanic in a pokemon type game, having to subdue and manually carry each monster back to your base to tame it and train it as an active member or your party
I like that Bad Boro seems to have taken some inspiration from DOOM as well, with your health meter reacting to different events and some monster infighting too! I seriously cannot believe that's a two-man team. That is some tremendous talent for just two guys. I'll definitely have to keep an eye on that for sure. Love these kinds of videos where you find these obscure gems.
No bs, Bad Boro looks *excellent*
The animation work is superb
It haves this high profile New grounds feel to it but far more polished.
It oozes personality.
@@toobig7150 👍🏻
It looks pretty fucking hard 😅
Looks really good, but the devs really need to work on the whole "the game crashes every time something explodes" thing
Devs of Bleak Faith missed such an opportunity with their long ladders. They should've inserted: "What a thrill.. with darkness and silence through the night"

Not for honor, but for you!
I found a Soulslike that I don't think YOU have seen and I think you'd like it.
It's called "Alaloth: Champion of the Four Kingdoms".
It's got Souls-like combat sorta (stamina, difficulty mainly) and it's been really fun so far.
These videos are so much work. Thank you for doing them.
There's a unique interaction with the old lady in Lies of P if you use the "Show Off Outfit" emote after putting on the clothes she gave you. It affects your springs.
I think the "effect your springs" thing is just you becoming slightly more human, since before the demo's release the premise was pinnochio can make choices that would either slightly turn you human or robotic
@@jaquanbanditojones3450 Listening to music also gives the "your springs are reacting" prompt and after that i got a pop-up saying "listening to music gives you humanity" or something like that. The game outright confirmed it.

I've been a follower of your vids for a long time and I launched the video not having a clue a game i've worked on would be featured ! I've had the pleasure to help out on character art for En Garde! and man, seeing you enjoy destroy the basic soldiers I made made me feel so happy. Glad you liked it ♥ Huge props to Fireplace for making this gem.
I think a video going back and revisiting your top 5 and bottom 5 games of this series could be a really fun time
One of the few UA-camrs who's upaloads I wait for. Been here since #6 i think, enjoy thd content as always
The best part of this series to me is that the Deva of the games often come and comment their thanks for your feedback and featuring their games. This has a comment from Lies of P dev! As a nicely polished game, that's seems pretty huge, I saw several of the devs commenting on this video.
It's a shame the devs of tripple AAA games don't do that.
Episode 20! Enjoyed every one of them!
