Pandemonium genuinely slaps once you get the straight line upgrade. High advance causes the damage to absolutely skyrocket if you manage to maneuver the boss into the puddles.
I love Pandemonium so much. Once I got it I haven't used anything else. And since it uses so little legion the legion regen ability makes it really easy to throw it out a lot
It’d be cool to see a use what you get randomizer, with the weapon combinations and all. You could also (considering there is a P-organ upgrade that lets you perfect parry to regain fable bars) do a fable art only run, although it might be a rough one, and I’m not sure what to do for the early game before you get it. Consumables only is ofc on the table, you could also do something like a boss weapon only where you have to use the weapon received by a boss to beat the next one.
Trick for those who use Flamberge vs Swampie Boss: When it does the tentacle flail in Phase 2, having lv2 at least will allow you to out-range that attack and melt him. It's the exact range for it. It's an amazing punish. Also, in NG+, I started running with Arm of Steel as my second Legion. With Triumvirate Amulet, it gets a neat A scaling across STR and DEX. It's a good quick damage source for how cheap it is to use but more importantly: it completely blows up elite enemies if you use it as a finisher. The only thing that holds it back is the fact that it can't Stagger an enemy, only build up good chunks of it, which is a shame. If we get DLC, I'd love if it was a single, 4 Caliber cost upgrade that just ups the Arm of Steel to be a true menace and allow Stagger. Punching enemies is too fun!
This isn’t even the first video on this challenge. Three other people (don’t remember names, I’ll try to find them) did this run before Aggy. Nothing against him tho.
Throwables and Legion arm are honestly insane, did all 3 playthroughs with basically just those. 99 Capacity, Blue Guardianship Amulet, Triumvirate Amulet, and Veteran's Amulet and the P-Upgrade for getting legion back on kills/auto makes Falcon Eyes insane (or any arm)
This is so fun to watch! You made it look so easy. I just finished the game and in a bit of speedruns + challenge marathon right now and this so far is the most entertaining and intriguing. Amazing stuff!
You should definitely do more Lies of P content, this game is awesome and so full of potential challenge runs. Really hoping we get a randomizer at some point.
I guarantee you the devs didn't even intend for people to make legion arm or throwable only builds. They just added the stuff needed to upgrade them so they could compliment other builds, but said upgrades can be so cracked out you could unironically make a doable build if you try hard enough. The same can't be said about other Souls-likes, aside from maybe Remnant 2 and Sekiro, though I'd imagine it'd probably be even more difficult to manage in those two games than in Lies of P.
I love that throwables and just items in general are actually this good, i dont think ive ever used throwables in any from soft game (other than trying them once, then finding out they suck and never trying again)
