Here's how I got my headset to finally pair w/ Series X: 1. Perform update on headset 2. Do hard reset on console 3. Power on the console 4. Plug headset into console (as if you were going to charge it) 5. Turn on headset while charging (leave plugged while performing below steps) 6. Press sync button on console 7. Press sync button on headset *Repeat steps 6&7 until you connect. Itll take 4-5 repetitions. Good luck

I use these for apex and the super human hearing really comes through. I had no issues connecting my headset. I didn’t update. The superhuman hearing is truly amazing! Wish the battery life was better tho

For everyone wondering, these are the older 2020 model. They kept the same “gen2” name but the 2022 model uses a usb adapter to connect to other devices as well
@MGBeatzz Records It took me a while to get mine to work. I had to hold down the power button a couple of times and eventually it restarted and paired. I am still returning it though because I hated the way it had to connect every time I turned on my Xbox. I am getting the one on the video instead.

Yes I have an HP windows 7 I downloaded the software and I plugged the headset into the usb port. It took a minute or so but it worked and upgraded the headset bios. I then pushed the sync button on my xbox one. The lighted X started flashing and I then pushed the sync button on the headset and waited for the headset to sync. And it has been working like a champ ever since. I have an ASTRO 50 headset that will not update either on the xbox or windows 7. So needless to say I am trying to sell the astro headset and am now a turtle beach fanboy.
How the HELL do I use the USB version??? My Xbox doesn't even recognize what headphones they are and they're just called: "Headset" in settings, they don't work on the audio app on my phone, and I can't turn mic monitoring off!!!

Mines was blinking and wasnt working even after the update. I finally got it to pair. I hard reset my xbox- you do this but unplugging the xbox for about a minute or 2 and then after I turned on my xbox and press the black button on the xbox to pair and then hit the pair button on the headset above the charging port and rapidly hit the headset pairing button and it paired. Hope this works for you and helps

Hey guys I figured it out :first got to setting 2. Go to devices and connections 3. Go to controllers and headsets 4. Add new head set& while doing so turn on head set but don’t let go until here the click then let go and it should be pair hope this helped guys
I switched it out for a new set. New set I plugged into PC first, updated firmware and then tried to pair to Xbox and all of a sudden it worked fine. Unfortunate to do but might need to exchange.

Plug into PC via charging cable. Install Turtle Beach Audio App. Run app and update Firmware for headset. Adjust Mic Monitoring to a lower setting. When I did the firmware update, the new default setting is about perfect.

Yes I play war zone and Cold War I leave it on the 3rd beep which is bass and tremble up hit the mode button 3x the 4th beep is good for conversations .... I never use the super hearing mode cause it sound like to much compression..

Connect them to your pc via usb, upgrade firmware, and then adjust the tone option below the half way point.... this worked for me
Turn off mic monitoring. Download the turtle beach app and plug in your wire you got with the headset and turn it off on the app.

Replaced mine this morning. Before turning on or anything I plugged it into PC and updated firmware first. This new one connected right away.

@@irish7611 I love these 2 gen headsets and 1st gen .. the quality is the best outta all Xbox headsets I never had the A50 but I did try the rig 800 it was horrible and I tried the 700 I didn’t like those .. but these here last forever I just wish the frame was design different.. long story short these are my go to when all things fail and another thing I gotta have wireless so these are perfect and you don’t need no usb transmitter which makes this ah Golden deal
Do not take these back because I doubt you find ah battery quality then these .. I wish it was someway I could hook up my studio Sony 7506 to Xbox
