I bought these for myself today, and these weren’t that good out of the box. Then after watching this video and doing the steps he said, these are now my favorite headsets. I can hear footsteps, know where the enemy is and everything. Then the Bluetooth feature is cool too! Only issue is, if ur iPhone Bluetooth is on and ur Xbox1 is on at the same time, ur headset will connect to both for some reason and u will hear 2 different things at once. Other than that, these are worth $130.

Agreed, the audio is pretty serious on these. Audio tip. Set up a cheap powered sub woofer to your television, crank that and play. Seriously cheap way to push the boundaries of audio!

Check your chat mixer and headphones levels on Xbox
1. push Xbox button on the controller
2. choose settings gear on the menu
3. choose audio
4. make sure the mixer slider isnt all the way on MIC. and that the headphones volume is at a reasonable level

@@20bagasmack77 I unfortunately had to buy a 2nd headset because turtle beach are some pieces of shit and wouldn't replace my headset even though I've never dropped it or damaged it in any way. Recently failed. And I liked my stealth 700 so much I caved in and bought another because its still cheaper than the other "premium" wireless gaming headsets. So if any update comes out then you won't be able to get it. But you should be okay for now buddy when I plugged my new pair into my pc to update today it claimed they were already up to date meaning they shipped that way. This was only a real issue when the headset first came out it would randomly disconnect from your Xbox all the time even when you were sitting right in front of your console and they had to fix this through a firmware update. That is why everyone makes such a big deal about the firmware update. But yeah according to mine it was already up to date from the factory so until they release the next update you should be fine and even so unless it brings some sort of out of this world new features which I doubt then you probably should be able to get by without any issues. The only time it would be useful is if something goes wrong with your headset they are going to ask you to try to fix it by using the audio hub app
@@20bagasmack77 also sorry to bore you all with the long story but I feel its rather important because I'm guessing like me you probably didnt purchase extended warranty and im just warning if it fails before you've even owned it for 2 years but its after the one year mark of owning it they won't do a damn thing for you even if you could completely prove the headset failed on its own and that you've taken perfect care of it, so aggravating you will want to rip your head off and light it on fire because you will be really used to the headset and like it and want another but be enraged your being asked to buy a premium "best in class audio experience" headset a second time when you never did anything to fuck it up lol I hate turtle beach so much right now. The app is broken. Got Stealth 700 to connect to phone once, then the app worked once. After that, keep trying to connect to headset.

Kevin James my 800 Elite May be obsolete, but other than laying back against a pillow, the buttons can easily be changed. Other than that, the 800 Elite blows this away with sound. Anyway, so I bought the 700 a month ago and I have it synced and can hear all game sound decent, BUT for some reason I can make calls and talk on my 700 mic, yet I have never been able to in game chat with it. I hear my voice, but it doesn’t go through to the chat. When I put my 800 on, I have no issues. Turtle Beach and I have been emailing back and fourth for a week trying to figure it out.

Turtle beach, please consider create an option on cell app to select channel headset should work. Even making fw update I'm facing interferences. We can scan WiFi channels using a simple cell app and choose the best for headset.

Glad this guy explains the functions and settings on this, I know how to connect headphones but the instructions on what does what sucks on paper it came with. I have the same problem with the XB1 controllers every so often. I had the problem on my Gen1 XB1 and now the XB1 X
Try hard booting the console.
That seemed to clear up the problems with some items staying synced but could not be reassigned while other devices would not sync at all unless direct connected via USB and then instantly lose connectivivty when the USB cable was removed.
Seems a console software problem and not a peripheral problem.

Its automatic but there super human mode but just makes it louder and is bad for your ears by pressing the power button once fast. Don't hold it or it will turn off.

push sync button (silver button on the left side of Xbox). The power light will start blinking. once this is happening, push the little rubber circle button on your head set ( use something pointy cause you can't do it with your finger). The two should sync and the power light in the console will go solid again.

Just bought a pair of 600’s and haven’t given them a go just yet as I’m charging them at the moment. A lot of mixed and matched comments, I’ll edit and let y’all know what I think 🤘
Edit: They’re wonderful headphones and the SUPER HUMAN HEARING mode is really dope, truly enables me to hear everything on a battlefield when gaming. I can hear shots coming from farther away, can hear footsteps more clear and able to pinpoint direction with ease. They’re comfortable and I’ve worn them for hours at a time without any discomfort. They battery life is really great and I typically charge them every 2-3 days. The mic quality is superb and all my friends have said I sound clear and crisp. You can program them like a controller so they only work for my gamer tag which I really like.
I will say the downside to them is they aren’t compatible with the app as only the 700’s are and the fact you need a windows computer even update them really sucks. I highly recommend them as they give you a lot of bang for your buck. I got mine with a year warranty so let’s see if they beat that. I’ll update again in a year 😂

Worked in audio for video games and film for 20 years. These are by far the best bang for your buck I have found in any audio product hands down. Mic, Headphones, Wireless, (simulated) Surround and Atmos. I LOVE ATMOS!!! All for 100 (X)bones, Come on people, what do you want for your money.... 'Get a pair' and right out of the box, set up was simple, my 10 year old couldn't find the Sync Button on the Xbox as we have a black unit. Updating, plugged into my mac, followed online directions and was done in seconds. Setting up surround and atmos via the Xbox systems audio folder.
And BOOM, the wireless headphone system is set up BY our 10 year old son.
Sorry if you have a faulty headset, that is not our experience.
