And just like that you are now ready to regret your purchase!
I bought these and I absolutely freaking love them every second I wear them. I chose them over the Astros A40’s, keeping in mind that those were the ones I went to the store to buy in the first place! They sound amazing. I’m also a professional music engineer and I use top-tier music headphones for mixing music so I have very discriminating hearing and the 700’s get my 100% approval for gaming. I also love the super-human hearing even though it take a little getting used to but it’s great at helping you hear all kinds of movement. Overall, I give them an 8 out of 10 because the one thing they lacking is a pretty big deal for me which is the lack of a headphone Jack. The other thing that really bothers me is that it should come with the PC dongle. At $150, that should already be included as there are even cheaper headsets on the market that come with it and it should definitely not have to cost an additional $25 plus tax to buy one. Even though it’s got great battery life, on the off time that I needed one, it would be awesome. Overall, I 100% Recommend them I just hope you guys those fix those 2 issues for the gen 3 version and I think you guys will dominate the market with these!

@Turtle Beach. I just got mine out of the box and there is no power. I’ve had them plugged in for about an hour and still no power. The charging light won’t turn on. The headset won’t turn on. And Ik y’all say to get onto audio hub. But they won’t even turn on for me to connect. If this can’t be fixed then I’m done with turtle beach.

This is kind of a weird glitch but sometimes when my headset gets shut off or turned on while I am gaming it will disconnect my controller from my Series X and then I can’t get my controller to connect again until I unplug my Xbox and plug it back in

Mine did this. Get the firmware update. Go on PC download the wizard for turtle beach and with the USB C that came with the box plug it in and start the update. Mine fixed all the known issues
When I get this out the box it will turn on and I connect it instantly then when I turn my Xbox off and come back on the next day the headset just won’t turn on the light will only appear if I put it on charge?

Worked fine for two weeks after Christmas and now they won’t charge, turn on, or pair to my Xbox anymore. The red light doesn’t show when plugged in and the green light doesn’t come on when I press and hold the power button. I tried hard resetting and that doesn’t work either. I Wouldn’t recommended this headset.
I had this problem but it’s fine now, just hold the mode button and Bluetooth (might be power I forgot) for 20 seconds and it should do a hard reset and it works fine again

I don’t like the 700 GEN 2 headphones. I don’t like the app. I want surround sound. With these I can’t tell which way someone is coming from🤷♂️ The stuff 500 I like better I could tell which way somebody was coming from with the surround on it. But not with the 700 Gen 2 😬 I have the app👎 on my iPhone. I’ve always had turtle beaches and they always seem to get better until now maybe I’m doing something wrong but I don’t think so. The newer ones when they switched to USB C have a dongle..this is my second pair..my first charged by micro USB and connected right to Xbox like controller does .my second one charges by USB C and has a dongle.. performance is the same though..idk why they started using dongle but oh well.

I can confirm a firmware update fixes any Bluetooth problems
My Xbox always has trouble pairing and when it does pair the colors or off it’s blinking red but the app says my headset got 90%

If there's no problems you should be good firmware upgrades are usually just to fix bugs etc.

My headphones constantly unpairs and pairs at any time and it's frustrating. It has been doing this since day 1. $170 for messed up equipment

You cannot use these headphones on the series X without the dongle they do not seamlessly connect like the remote does.
