I made this today, Maangchi! Very yummy as usual. I forgot the kelp sheet so I just poured some soy sauce on top. Delish. Tomorrow I will not forget the kim sheet, though. 😊
One day, when I get my own house, I want to cook outside like this! I want to have my friends and family over for breakfast, and I can make them breakfast and coffee while the air is still nice and cool! It looks so refreshing :)

I saw this video at 10:30pm yesterday and remembered I had all the ingredients. So I got up and made this porridge. I used 3 parts millet and 1 part sticky millet instead of white rice for faster cooking. I also used hot water (boiled it while cooking). I had it for breakfast this morning. It was sooooo good. Believe me find time to chop some carrots unless you hate it.
I was literally like "wow I can smell it through the screen" while watching it, but then I realized that it's literally cooking in my kitchen right this second and I forgot.
Im from Brazil and i did today. I had to adapt a few things since I didn't have sesame oil, fish sauce and rice is different too (long and white). Even so it was wonderful. Went to my list of favorite recipes! Thank you 🥰

Tomatoes were one of the few foreign vegetables introduced during the Joseon dynasty that didn't become popular in Korean cooking. Even nowadays they are still mostly reserved to Western-style salad, sandwiches or pizza/pasta sauce.
