I love that you let this spectacular song play without stopping. You’re taken on a rollercoaster ride. Starting slow, then the slopes get steeper and higher. Then you land with heart thumping, and glide into his ending. Great reaction.

I was a kid when Simon and Garfunkel released this song, 1964. My two older sisters listened to this daily. I must agree with you, Disturbed offers the most powerful version of the song, by far. I still get goose bumps. Also, I have respect for you for not interrupting the song. Big hugs.....🙏

He's not only a trained cantor, this particular performance he was very ill. David also suffers from extreme acid reflex. After concerts, David doesn't interact with the rest of the band because he has to rest his voice. Being a leader singer is actually a lonely role. They shine on stage and after the curtain comes down, that's it. Unlike musicians who might suffer from an injury, they can pretty much still perform. A singers instrument is their voice and an injury to their vocal chords, can be very bad. I have seen my share of vocalist come and go through the business and David is truly an amazing and talented man. Very humble and spiritual as well. A class act all the way around.

The lead singer that is so incredibly talented, also is an incredibly kind man. He stopped a concert mid way through because he witnessed a child being pushed around, though the parents were trying to be protective, the girl was scared.
The lead singer, David Draiman, really went out of his way to make sure this child was okay and also having a good time. He was so sweet to this girl that it is truly an emotional exchange.
Seriously, its such a heart warming interaction that I truly encourage you take the time to check it out.

Great cover. Very haunting, powerful, and soulful. Also liked the way the song was interpreted. My favorite rendition is from Simon and Garfunkel, but I'm glad their song is viewed as being so good that it is still being covered by current artists. Not around the corner, but sometime in the future I hope you react to more Simon and Garfunkel.

@diva51 Seriously! I love watching the reaction of first time listeners. But as someone that has watched many such moments, I know every nuance, every expression change on David’s face, etc., it never gets old, just more intense! Listening to someone talking through the entire thing, I sit here yelling at them to STFU!
@user-kp1sg8ml6n i can usually tell who enjoys the whole song by how long the video is. I watched a video of someone who interrupted the song so much, it was insulting. You can't understand or enjoy the true meaning of a song if you're pausing every few seconds. And I commented such
