- New reaction to Geoff Castellucci! I'm never not amazed by his work!
I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did! Also, my beard was getting a bit bushy, decided to trim down. Let me know what you think and if I should change it!

Geoff sings all the backup parts as well. The instruments are all Geoff too, using a plugin on his keyboard.
One of the things I especially like about Geoff's version is that I can imagine this as if he is singing it all in his own mind - especially with that final swoosh back over to at the piano. To me it feels like a real conversation beginning with 'Hello Darkness...' and the '...seeds planted in my brain...'. Towards the end, he added an echoing, kind of hollow-sounding drum beat that made me feel like he was on an empty, dark stage - all alone.
It's probably worth saying that Geoff only does a capella as the bass with VoicePlay, never on his solo channel. Also it's often Eli from VP who does the lighting for him. Geoff is always so careful to thank his supporters. Such a humble guy. And yes he's worked hard for years to get the voice he has now.
(Hair flowing from the beauty of his voice AND the power of the fan his wife, Kathy, wields!)
WE HIT 100 SUBSCRIBERS DURING THE RECORDING OF THIS VIDEO!!!! 🎊Thank you all soooo much! You all have no idea how much it means to me. Being able to make UA-cam Videos and share them with the world has been a dream of mine since I was a child. I spent too many years doubting myself and thinking I wasn't good enough or no one would watch my videos. You all have shown me why it was all worth it! Thank you again and enjoy! More content to come.💜💜
Congrats! Voiceplay reactions will increase your subscriber count. Home Free does too. I saw one reactor go from a two digit count to a four digit count in a couple weeks. It doesn't ALWAYS happen, but it's fairly common.

You are awesome to watch. Thank you for another priceless reaction to Geoff ❤
Geoff became my all time favorite singer 2 years ago. Voiceplay became my all time favorite group at the same time.
Great milestone! You are talking about the things that make Geoffs work so special. I see it like a konstant surprise. You'll will never know what to expect.
Yep. You never "get used to" Geoff. He continues to amaze, even after years of listening to him! And now you know he can play the piano! When you watch his deep bass cover of "Folsom Prison Blues" he'll have another little surprise for you! At the end of that, make sure you pay attention to the upper level in the background.

I love this rendition.... 🌹🕊
I highly (no pun intended) recommend Geoff's version of the Beatles' "Blackbird".
This was filmed at Pattycake Productions which is owned by Layne (VP’s beatboxer) and Tony (former Voiceplay baritone). And Layne was flying the steadycam.
The fact that he arranges, produces, and edits it all himself.
Never mind what a flex it is to sing four and five part harmony with yourself!
We must also give credit to his wife Kathy who is very instrumental in helping Geoff with all his solo covers.
I had no idea he covered this, omg it’s everything you’d expect and more!!
Listen to Blackbird , if you love vocal control.
@LythandieLive Congrats!!! You're almost 4k now 😊
Congratulations 🍾🎈🎊
Thank you so much 😀
That's Christ Jesus singing to not just our intellects but our very hearts.
Congratulations on the subs! Great version of Sound Of Silence. Recommend the Pentatonix version for a different vibe.
I’ll be sure to check it out!
