thats totally a new dresser and you can tell the way the inside of the drawers and the little mechanisms that make the drawers slide are really clean, new and working!

I love it! I'm going to do this to my antique dressers. I bought them at a thrift someone painted them a hideous brown. I painted them black but, this will make them look beautiful!

I'm looking for a video that shows how to water proof wallpaper. I'm putting it on top of a dresser/sideboard. My wallpaper has the glue on the back so I'll be adding more to make sure it sticks.

It's a custom match color, not a pre-mixed color with a name.

I like Foo Foo too. My daughter wants a Moroccan style room so the teal and gold will be nice. I'm buying a dresser like this from Walmart and then painting it. I'll let you know when I finish it.

Do anyone know if you could put a shellac or polyacrylic over the front of the paper to protect it?
It should be washable paper so no need for poly over it. Shellac would probably destroy the paper, IMHO.
Ken, are you sure you dont need to varnish the paper? If you leave it as is, over time it will scratch, tear and peel off...This just looks like an incomplete job.

What if you have something like a wardrobe door or something hefty that can’t be placed on top of the paper?
In my case, i have taken the door off to lye it down on the paper.

They say this can be done on any dresser. Well it can't. They chose a dresser with perfectly flat drawer fronts. If the drawer fronts are rounded at the sides or if there is any trim/molding or anything other than flat, it will not work.
it would work, you just modify slightly and paint the moulded area and then be a bit more precise with your cutting to fit the flat part

You need to put clear varnish to make it hard otherwise the paper will tear off.

For people who want something quick and easy like maybe you're living in an apt for a year and you don't have the time to strip and varnish furniture this is for them. If it last 6 months to a year until your lease is up

Isn't it always how the piece of furniture that is restored is always so cheap that they bought it for $5 or picked it up at a garage sale. When you go to buy the finished piece in a store, it costs $1,000 plus...?? what's wrong here?
