Little trick I learned about the nanotape.. When you remove it run it under hot water for a few seconds in rinse all the stuff off of it and then put it into a Ziploc baggie until you're ready to use again and it's twice as sticky as it was the very first use
I did a peel and stick floor in my kitchen.. I got the peel and stick from Lowes on clearance for under $100 (My kitchen is around 15x20 ft). I own my house, so I was able to get groutable peel and stick and grout it. Obviously that is more permanent so not good for renting, but I laid the tiles in a herringbone pattern and it is seriously SO nice looking. It is my favorite project I've ever done on my house!
Wayna, you are one of my faves. I am a broke homeowner and your ideas are always applicable. To be honest it’s nice to be able to do some things and not have them be permanent. Single mom and I love being able to to change it up as well as a quick affordable fixes to projects I can’t afford to tackle. Thank you friend. 🤗
My favorite window coverings are the peel and stick prism effect… They look great, and make rainbows all over your room. If you don’t want to do the whole window, you can just cut out a little square or Star or any shape you like and stick it on the window and it’ll still make rainbows!
This was very helpful! I wish I knew this stuff years ago! I do still rent. I live in an old house with horrible bead board walls and the landlord didn't maintain it. I'm tired of living in a rental property and feeling like I live in a dump because I'm afraid of decorating. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Over-60 grandma homeowner who just bought a new home and is excited to up my home decorating game going forward. Love your aesthetics, intelligence, ingenuity, coin sense, and practicality!! New subscriber, with thanks for UA-cam putting you in my feed!🌹🌹🌹
Also an over 60 Grandma home owner...lol, I have the frosted privacy stuff on some of my windows (from Ace Hardware as my small town doesn't have many stores). These still let a lot of light in, and heat in summer. So on my back dining room door I also covered it with contact paper in the wood design as my wooden screen didn't block the top portion and was a pain to keep moving to access the door. I also used a print contact paper to cover my bathroom window. This still lets some light in, gives me not only privacy but seems to open up the bathroom since I no longer need to hang a curtain (folds take up a small space) and I can use the ledge to decorate with candles.
Oh....also wanted to mention I seen another video (forgot whose, sorry...again I'm old lol) anyway they purchased cheap peel and stick tiles from some place like a dollar store then painted in the color they wanted.
I live in Florida, where moisture & mold have to be considered with any product I want to try. We had a tidal surge after the last hurricane. Within 2 days, mold made it necessary to remove the bottom half of the walls. We don't use a lot of carpet because of the storms and water that's always a threat. Peel & Stick flooring is a blessing for getting the floors done and moving on to the next thing. This video has been an education for me; and I already knew a lot. Thank you so much for the effort & good taste you obviously put into your work.
Your UA-cam channel has given my apartment so much life during this pandemic! I’ve done 1)the peel and stick vinyl flooring tor kitchen and bathroom 2) marble contact paper for kitchen countertops 3) peel and stick backsplash 4) accent wall with poster board. Even maintenance team compliments my apartment, LOL! Now if i can recreate that gold wire photo holder! Could not find it at home goods 😢. Thank you again and again for sharing your creative gifts! Blessings sis!💜💜💜
Wow..I'm a homeowner and you've given me a whole new decorating prospective. I have several projects I've been avoiding, but watching your vids have changed my mind. Keep them coming.
Save the money on the privacy film. Just get a bottle of white school glue and paint it on with a small foam craft roller. It works just the same for way WAY less. I did this to my windows at my door and it's been on over a year and still looks perfect. Let's the light in but you can't see through. And if you decide you don't want it on anymore you can just peel or scrape it off. You can also do designs with tape, paint on your glue and then peel the tape off before it dries!
Thank you. We were charged $300 when we moved out of our last rental because I had stuck stuff on the walls that I didn’t remove (including a stick on wall clock). I appreciate this video. Thank you ♥️🙏🏽
I love the way you talk... it's calm and confident. When I'm usually watching these type of videos on UA-cam, the females are talking so much just to say one thing. You get to the point, I love that! Also you sound like you're being yourself and are just very comfortable with what you do! Thank you. So easy to watch. The other ones give me anxiety. Talking so fast and using a fake voice... I be like girl calm down lolZ
Sis, I'm a home owner and you have motivated me. I keep thinking about replacing and changing things with little to no money, but this, yeah this, it's got me inspired again.
I love all your ideas. One problem I have found with peel and stick as well as nano tape.....if you live in an older home that has plaster walls....those P & S items don't stick very well.
I think everyone just needs a best friend that's an interior designer 😉😁 However, until I meet one, I'll be here on YT following other people's interior designer BFF lol!
Ok, I was already a big peel and stick tile girl because I did my own backsplash with stone and ceramic peel and stick tile, but you def got my attention with the wainscot panel. Putting that on my decorating list for the retirement home. This was a great video.
Less than 2 minutes in and you rock my world. We are working on replacing our front door with a 3/4 glass panel door and we are arguing over the type of finish for the glass. I didn’t realize so many options were available for temporary privacy. Now maybe we can finally order the door!!!
Hey Boo! 😊Thank you for all of your awesome ideas! I lost my home to a fire and while I'm in limbo-land, I'm a renter. My family's safe and that's what's important to me. It's just nice to be able to make a temporary living space feel like a home, especially with young children! Thanks for the fabulous ideas! Happy 2023!🥰
Second, I purchased some self adhesive wallpaper/contact from Amazon in a light wood design. I applied it to inside of my front door and it looks great. I'm almost 62 so it was a bit strenuous but it turned out really good. I live in the mountains near Yosemite and have a small apartment that is older so my new years resolution is to remodel in a forest wood theme. Thanks for all the great tips!🥰
After watching this video I ordered some peel and stick products for a small window that looked shabby. I wanted to have it painted but didn’t want to have people in my house just yet. Now the stickers have totally transformed this area. I love it. You’d never know it needed painting. Thank you.
Girl you just saved me a ton of money for my house renovation, i want to do a whole remodel but i dont have a lot of the tools i need and this just saved me a headache ❤thank you!
I liked your idea of using a shower curtain as a barrier to the peel and stick flooring so you can remove it easily. Have you tried using a moisture barrier underlayment? Home Depot sells it SUPER cheap and it's literally just a roll of black plastic so there wouldn't be a section with holes in it for shower curtain rings. Also, how did you seal around areas like the bathtub? The only thing holding me back from this is the idea of not sealing it there and water splashing down in between the bathtub and the now "floating" floor. . . but I don't want to use an actual sealer there in an apt.
We used Nano Tape to hold our heavy art straight on the wall and it worked like a charm. We created a headboard behind our bed using a wooden wall divider that we took apart, painted black and put it up on the wall with nails but they wouldn’t hang flat….nano tape was and is the solution. Fist time to your channel. Love it!
God knows I've been looking for a way to update my home on a VERY tight to invisible budget. Where have you been ALL of my life?????🤨🧐🤔 I'm so ECSTATIC I've found your channel that I'm addicted. You're TRULY an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your AMAZING ideas. Folks like myself who're mostly homebound & on a budget are GREATLY appreciative.. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I wish you much more success than you may already have. Bountiful Blessings to You Beautiful Lady!!
I remember coming across your channel a few years back. You did the peel and stick in your room. I didn’t try it because I didn’t know what type of sticky residue it would leave on the wood floors, but you’ve found a hack?? A shower curtain?? How do you keep the curtain from shifting?
I’ll say it again. Yay for apartment tips!! I gave sidelights in my front door and I actually put cute little signs in each small window. I like to see who comes to my door. But many neighbors use the privacy film and I swear no other UA-camr addresses the apartment!!! Thank u!!!!
Thank you for your calm content, that is not overly opinionated and gives me the viewer the option to take the advice or not!! Appreciate your video 👏🏾
I loved the entire program…I own a totally restored 1875 QUEEN ANN VICTORIAN and all the peel and stick patterns you shared …I have as original in my home (crown molding 15ft ceilings etc.) I still have mini projects to do…love love love the presentation..I got many ideas for so many upgrades projects…u r doing a great job so informative 🥂🥂
I LOVE your border along the baseboards idea! I'll be trying that this weekend; I'm so excited! 🤩 I also love using window film. I discovered that as soon as I moved in to my apartment - my front door had a beautiful side window, which faced the parking lot that was only steps away! 😳 Thank you for the great inspiration. 🙏
We are seniors who owned homes for years but are now renting for at least a year. I will keep all these items in mind. I think the interior of the house is painted gray which I dislike. So we will have to see how our furniture looks with gray.
Oh my gosh! So glad UA-cam put you on my list! I am renting for the first time in 25 years and with white walls to boot! I always said I would never have white walls again and I had no clue all this stuff was out there! I am wowed and you gave a great general impression on the vast array of possibilities of ideas to beautify an apartment. Thank you and I did subscribe 😮😊
You have some very clever ideas! I found 2 that I'm going to use right away to jazz up our home for selling. 1. Stick on tile back splash and 2. half privacy film window in the kitchen.😊
OMG, you are a life saver. I wanted to redo my office with wall paper but b/c it's textured, I was told it wouldn't stay. I definitely going to look for this poly wall at my local Lowes. This seems so much quicker than smoothing out the wall. Thank you sooo much!!
You are amazing Baby Girl ! . It’s the law in Florida. When the husband passes , you down size . Well I have downsized five times now . Finally stop a one bedroom rental . Thank you for your talent and knowledge. Just amazing ❤. Italian Grandma 👵 😊
Just found your channel. Thanks for the renter friendly advice!. My previous apartment was on the first floor. I had French doors and both bedroom windows faced the parking lot with a side window near the sidewalk. Privacy film was a game changer!! I initially purchased a roll from Joanns. But with the amount I needed, I opted for clear contact paper from the Dollar Tree. It is actually frosted. Worked like a charm! For a fraction of the cost!
Hi. I'm Patricia from RI. In my old apt it was a basement apt. I couldn't afford too much, so I used bubble wrap. I cleaned the window, dried it then sprayed some water on it. Applied bubble wrap that I cut to fit ahead of time. Genius !!
Dee from Orlando! I love that you mentioned a few things I have already tried! I used a faux stone pattern peel n stick wallpaper as backsplash under my cupboards and behind my sink and stove. It so transformed my rental! I'm definitely going to try the peel and stick moulding as well as a contact paper cover for my bathroom cabinet/ sink area. A great product by 3M is their curtain rod holders! I love in a duplex built in 1984... The walls don't hold curtain rod hardware well at all... But Command did the trick! Thank you again for your great tips!!
I'm so with you on the wood grain contact paper. Unbelievably I get mine at Dollar Tree! They have a light grain and a very rich dark grain. When you see the roll you might think "nah, this looks cheap" don't listen to that little voice! Hahaha. It's a mental thing because of the price. Try it. Once it is on the item no matter what it is, it looks fantastic!
We LOVE using the wallpaper. White walls get so boring after awhile. I didn't know about the border stickers or molding. Excited to check them out and see what I can do to the next house. It's not a peel and stick, but you can also do a floating laminate wood floor. I use command strips to "glue" down the floor transition piece for our apartment and it's been amazing. Wasn't cheap, but I can take it back up and use it again.
I learned about so many cool products! Let's talk mirrors for my small bathroom. On the inside of my linen closet door so I can pop it open, check the back of my hair across from my vanity mirror and my clothes! The peel and stick molding is perfect for upgrading those borderless bathroom mirrors too!
Amazing!! Just found your video today. All credit to God! I did most of these pill and stick upgrades 2years ago. Totally upgraded my townhouse. The owner even complimented me and was impressed
I just learned today that if you have non-pasted wallpaper (that's important!), you can put it up with starch, just like fabric wallpaper hacks. Apparently it comes down much easier than anything with adhesive.
@@catherinestcroix669 I'm really not sure, that would be good to research. I found out the hack on a blog and the blogger lived in Kansas at the time, but I doubt it's as humid as the tropics.
I have done many of these things and a learned a few new things thank you. I even made a video about creating a back splash with washi tape and contact paper... to this day my proudest accomplishment. I loved that kitchen... I should have never moved from there.
Great tips as always. I’ve installed peel n stick tile in my main bath..similar to the one in your bedroom and a year later it looks great. It was my first time and I did great. I wasted the underpayment I purchased..that was just too tricky.
I’m in Cleveland, Ohio. I’m on first floor of my apartment building. My living room windows face the entrance door & the parking lot. I was wandering thru Amazon one day & found this. It’s awesome because I put it on both sides of window but not edge to edge. Gives me privacy & yet my dog can see out. It’s great stuff, I also put stick on mirror in my bedroom. I used 3 hexagon shaped mirrors together which looks really cool. Made a huge difference!
Hey Wayna Hey! 👋I love 💕your videos, you are so helpful. I am a homeowner, your hacks for renters have helped me gain the confidence to tackle small projects around my home without regret or fear. So, I have already purchased the peel and stick tiles for a kitchen project, but my walls are textured. I will be purchasing the polywall panels and applying the peel and stick to that surface. Thank you and I can't wait until your next video!
Very well done. So many great ideas and diy tips. You’re one classy pro and very thorough in coverage and details. I’ll be back! I live in beautiful Montclair New Jersey. Be well Wayna. Laine
Just happen to come across this and so glad I did. Really enjoyed your ideas. I have used the peel n stick wallpaper, white background with white oak trees, to cover ugly sliding closet doors. Came out great. Also covered glass pane door with the frosted film, the one with birds and branches. These products change the whole feel of a room. Thanks for your ideas.
So glad I ran across your video. I live in an apartment that faces the parking lot on the first floor and I always feel like everyone is looking in my apartment when I have the blinds open. I have even gone out and know they can see in. The privacy film was something I had not thought of in the past. I really appreciate that solution. This was a great video. I will watch more. Great ideas!
Love these…definitely feeling to put some tile down in the bathroom with that tip of using shower curtain liner as a sub base I feel more confident doing so.
@@nike9362 quite difficult. I put down tiles over a laminate wood floor. It requires a blow dryer to soften the tiles. They leave the absolute worst sticky residue that is impossible to remove. Gloves stick to it. Shoes are ruined. Lol. I’d never use them if I intended on removing them.
I've used the peel and stick flooring in my bathroom and bedroom I love it. Very easy-to-use. Going to try the peel and stick for my counters. Thank you for your videos.
My daughter just put up privacy film on all the glass bedroom doors and windows in her laundry room and entrance door. It is sooooo pretty.!! One looked just like bamboo. But most of peel and stick stuff is hard to get up and rips up the wall etc…. Wall borders I have never seen. But everything is cool. Love it
Thank you for showing the tile flooring in a very renter friendly way! I’ve seen so many videos showing that type of flooring just being applied to an apartment floor but yet it would be a nightmare to remove! I may try your way of the flooring when we move. Peel and stick tile is amazing too! But learn from me- don’t put it in the laundry room. It WILL fall off 😂
@@lilyxciv5637 I think cause it gets so humid in there that it didn’t want to stick. It did for maybe 12 hours and fell pretty much as soon as I had the dryer on. I bet if you have a normal laundry room where the door could be left open you’d maybe have a chance for it to not fall but I have the closet style laundry room
I use these in the campers that I’ve redone. In our pop-up, I used a stainless look-peel and stick on our little fridge, and yes, I did it on my dishwasher in my home kitchen to match the other appliances. It works! 👍🏼 In our larger camper that we use now, there are nice windows in the bunks. I don’t want to deal with curtains, so I put in the frosted glass. The light comes through and there’s privacy! We did subway tile in the camper kitchen too. Yeah, I’m an addict. 🤷♀️
i'm so glad I discovered your channel today, Wayna. You're so practical, informative, clear, and so calming and peaceful! I've been looking online at p&s wallpaper for MONTHS but maybe I have a little fear about it, like it won't stick to my walls, or something. But your video is encouraging me to get off my butt and just TRY IT. :D thank u
Lady, I'm an old broad so I've used or done most. It's so great to see you sharing these ideas, believe me, my friends loved and those I helped loved it. KEEP UP THE LOVING WORK, PEACEFUL JOURNEY ❤️❤️
I used peel & stick to revamp my fireplace.. it was originally black insert & wood surround, but the previous tenant had painted the wood (very badly lol, with white & it looked so tacky) so I used a light wood to match my ikea furniture with a black marble splash back. You’d never tell from coming into the room that it’s contact paper, unless your up close enough to touch it. I’m very pleased with it..🥳🥳 Thanx for sharing your great video full of brill ideas! Blessings to you, you’re home is lovely. 🎉Happy 2024 & wishing it brings you & all you’re viewers & others in the comments plenty love, peace & prosperous times.. 💝Happy decorating peeps. Jen x 🌟
I use the spray on privacy film. It looks like frosted glass, got it at Home Depot. You can also use Stencils with it...Its a lot cheaper than the rolls.. One can covers 2 huge windows, you need several sprays...❤
i am so insanely grateful i found this page! this is my first rental and and pretty much everything got remodeled besides the bathroom and my living room and it's been driving me crazy for the 8 months that we have lived here, i just didn't know what to do!
Hi I'm from Philly! I've used privacy film on my bathroom window and I love it. When the sun hits the film it's amazing. I have used peel and stick contact paper on my dining room table and kitchen counter. I love it. It really updates everything.
I’m moving to North Carolina soon and I’m looking to go from gray and gold glam to gray and live wood/ tan and mid century modern. I’m done with the diamonds and the crystals and all that and want something mature but still…modern? Can you make a video on how to mix and match old and new styles????????
You can put some of that molding in duplicate patterns of various millwork on your ceiling as long as you don't have acoustic on the ceiling. But you could add in strips of cornice moulding Slightly lower than your ceiling and rig up some of those tiny strips of lights that plug into a USB port ; they look like little microchips or something in a little narrow plastic plastic strip. You can get a wall charging unit to plug it in. Get creative by adapters extensions whatever takes. This idea will give a nice subtle lighting choice you can buy those strips that are motion activated so there would Have to be some part of it that could actually see movement. You could rig it so that you could wave your hand near the opening of where you've hidden the light strips behind the moulding....
@@chriscooks5437 which part? I don't know what you don't know, So my advice is to ask questions like I did. Go to your DIY store and look at mouldings; look for the biggest one and see what you might be able to add to it, below it that is, to make it extra fancy, if you want. If you're gonna put some kind of little LED strip lighting inside it, don't mount it close to the ceiling because you want the light to escape but you don't want the lights themselves to be seen. In this case since you're not putting the molding flush With ceiling, it's okay to have popcorn on it. Popcorn is that textured that is on the ceiling that was really really popular and houses built or renovated in the 1980s. Named so because it looks like popcorn. If you have popcorn on the ceiling and you are going to put molding up next to the ceiling you have to scrape the popcorn off, so that it will fit flush where it meets the ceiling. As far as fancy flying your molding it would take measuring it would take your style and taste to put several strips of it large and small together putting extra stuff above and below making it as ornate as you want. The little lights I'm talking about, I don't really know how else to describe them but If you go looking for 'em you'll find them in computer technical stuff that can plug up to a USB port and be charged by whatever goes with that set up period If you've ever been where they have a pantry, closet or cupboard or library cabinet doors where that interior lights up automatically, that's the kind of lights I'm talking about - they are not encased in a rubber/vinyl tube. They kind of look like little metal squares on a tape. It would take me hours, across three different electronic devices I have to find the video where I saw it. Sorry I can't help you more. Crown molding and LED lighting channel /UA-cam has five videos that explains everything you need for that. And as far as trims and moldings, there are multiple links if you just put "decorating/ moldings/ trims" on your search line.... but I got to say you could look for hours and not see what I'm describing about using multiples of moldings just ask at the DIY store how you can do that and maybe they could suggest something or just get to playing start picking out stuff you like and figure out how you can make it go together where it looks good. Go play in the "molds" at the DIY store.
Wanya, thank so much for the wonderful renter friendly ideas. I love decorating and with your tried and true projects I will be able to transform my apartment from ho-hum to fabulous! Your video was a pleasure to watch, not only because of the fantastic ideas but your soothing voice and no loud music.
I want to try wall paper peel and stick on my dining room table because I can’t afford a new one. I have a son 30 yrs old with special needs that makes a mess and I’m tired washing table clothes so my question is how I know the size I always get something the wrong size?
Hi, I’m a transplanted Californian, in Glastonbury, CT for now! I just happened across your video, I have subscribed, just now. I will have to think about how to use the products you introduced. I am currently in a 50 year-old house in the country, so many “adjustments”have been made to this house that I would not know where to begin! I hate the kitchen floor because someone didn’t use an ashtray! Little burns that make the floor look dirty all the time! But all my friends want me to visit them instead, so I’m not getting any visitors out here….. I loved your video and most of all your personal sense of style and kindness, you remind me of home! (And you’re welcome to visit, the guest room is ready!)
I put up 3D tiles on a feat wall - amazing! I also used carpet tape to put up a moss wall around my tv (we have concrete walls in FL) and it was so quick and easy. Got the the moss from Michael’s by the roll and the 3D tile were from walldecor3D. I like the black wall behind you with the circles👍🏽👌🏽
Hello, I once lived unanimously upper duplex. The kids weren’t to keen on it. The worst of it was the cracked walls. So peel and stick wasn’t in. At thrift store I found a bin full of border wall paper. And lucky for me they had a lot of Ivy and flowers. I started cutting out what I wanted in the border. It is a delicate chore placing wallpaper and those cracked in the wall. But it looked a hundred times better. A week later they walked into a whimsical space. And my daughter says “Mom you can turn anything into a home!” So thank you for advice I m checking out Amazon.
I never knew about the border stickers or the wood trim!! I'm actually feeling enthused to try it in my house! I've been in such a decorating slump, this has revived me! New subscriber!
I love this. I've used peel-n-stick wallpaper in my last apartment on the kitchen for a backsplash and it was great. Hoping to try the laminate floor in my new place. :)
Great vid. No longer a renter, but love the idea for the border on the valance. I've been trying to figure out a way to enhance mine. I think I'll try the 3M shelves. I just brought the nanotape, but haven't used it yet. It came highly recommended in one of my decor groups.
I have to say, I really liked this very much. Your voice has been easiest one I've been able to handle out of all I've watched these past few days. . Even though I might not do anything like this, it was good to watch without getting annoyed with the other people's ideas and how they present them. The others get too wordy with how they explained things. Enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work!! Thank you for your information
Hi, Wayna. Another great, informative video. I really like and appreciate this is a compilation of all your favorites, recommendations and products and design ideas you've used in the past. I really appreciate that you've scoured Amazon and the big box stores for what you recommend and what is the best value. You really do a great service to renters, but also to home owners. I own; but I have absolutely zero design ingenuity or creativity. I know what I like and what I admire in decor (your design aesthetic is On Point👍), I just have no energy, and that unfortunately extends to any creativity. All of your videos are a great source of knowledge and recommendations for when I ever eventually try to zazz up my space. Thank you, and much love and admiration from Louisville, Kentucky. ❤
Hey Boo! I'm still here in 2024. Thanks for almost 2 MILLION VIEWS!!! 😘 I hope your peel and stick projects turned out GREAT! Be Chic on a Budget!

Especially with countertops :(

Little trick I learned about the nanotape.. When you remove it run it under hot water for a few seconds in rinse all the stuff off of it and then put it into a Ziploc baggie until you're ready to use again and it's twice as sticky as it was the very first use
I use privacy film for my reactive dog. It's helped SO much. I use it on windows at her height.

Thank you! I'm going to put this on my bathroom window which gets afternoon sun. 🌞 can't wait! 🌈
@wanayworld, my sentiments exactly. I just come across your channel today and subscribed immediately after watching this episode.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your home!
You might be the Rental Interior Design Queen.
You are a true inspiration…even for this 70 year old who got bought a new house in January. God bless you & the talents the Lord has gifted you with.
How does the peel and stick flooring handle mopping? I am just so nervous about water damage or water getting trapped under them.
I actually want to know this too please answer like how durable are they?
I would like to read your reply to the mopping question as well.
*Congrats, from TN!* 😁
Loving this video! Question…how can I remove the peel and stick backsplash without damaging the wall?
So smart! We rent out apartments, you are the only one who doesn't tear up the house. You are saving people their damage deposit! Thanks for you!
Do you have pictures of how it looked?
Thank you. We were charged $300 when we moved out of our last rental because I had stuck stuff on the walls that I didn’t remove (including a stick on wall clock). I appreciate this video. Thank you ♥️🙏🏽
Wainscoting that's peel and stick!!!!
You've changed my life!
Yes!! Those high, squeaky voices, just agitating to be honest lol. This beautiful woman is so calming to listen to!!!
Yes! No hyperactive-like selling. Whew.
She might be a Scorpio~💜💜
I agree 100%
I’m literally screaming joy to my fiancé about that bathroom flooring hack OMG 😍😍😍😍
I'm a homeowner, and your tips and tricks are right up my alley since I'm a bit nervous when it comes to designing. I truly appreciate you, Sis!
I think everyone just needs a best friend that's an interior designer 😉😁
However, until I meet one, I'll be here on YT following other people's interior designer BFF lol!
@@Em22-wtf Yes!! My thoughts exactly 😂 An interior designer friend as well as a plumber and a car mechanic! 😛
I’m a renter in Erie, pa, USA. What about he removable of these item?
@@Em22-wtf Thats a true blessing
Way back in 1980, I applied contact paper to a refrigerator. It turned out really well.
Caulk will seal it, you can strip it off after too. They also have flexible rubber caulk you can use too!
Love it!
Love these. Life-saving with the privacy film 😩😩😩
Thanks for watching luv!
I remember coming across your channel a few years back. You did the peel and stick in your room. I didn’t try it because I didn’t know what type of sticky residue it would leave on the wood floors, but you’ve found a hack?? A shower curtain?? How do you keep the curtain from shifting?
Very nice video. Just these ideas have been DYI friendly. Not to expensive. Working on a budget. Thank you for the tips and ideas
Hi Wayna. I was looking for the links but they're not listed. I was interested in the border thing and the very last item you mentioned
Thank you for the great inspiration.
This is why I love UA-cam - amazing content!
definitely going to be using more peel and stick items. i didn't know they had the molding or border in peel and stick. thank you for sharing.
Brilliant idea about putting plastic down before installing vinyl tiles in the bathroom!
I LOVE the idea of putting down the vinyl shower curtain before putting down peel-and-stick tiles! I'm definitely trying that! You're a genius!
You have been a wonderful and much needed addition to the world of decor. Absolutely Brilliant Wayna! Thanks 🙏
Nice, thanks
Question - I live in the tropics, wouldn't the starch attract creepy crawlies?
@@catherinestcroix669 I'm really not sure, that would be good to research. I found out the hack on a blog and the blogger lived in Kansas at the time, but I doubt it's as humid as the tropics.
Wow I would’ve done that instead of painting that I have to paint back beige when I leave 🤷♀️
What keeps the shower curtain from sliding around on the floor? How do you attach the shower curtain to the floor?
@@shalot4 once the tiles are in place it won’t move if you think about it, just with it being in alignment with the baseboard/ wall.
How easy is it to remove the peel and stick floor titles? I
@@nike9362 quite difficult. I put down tiles over a laminate wood floor. It requires a blow dryer to soften the tiles. They leave the absolute worst sticky residue that is impossible to remove. Gloves stick to it. Shoes are ruined. Lol. I’d never use them if I intended on removing them.
She was one of the first to level up rental friendly updates. I appreciate you! 🎉
I've used the peel and stick flooring in my bathroom and bedroom I love it. Very easy-to-use. Going to try the peel and stick for my counters. Thank you for your videos.
Are you able to remove it when you move?
It WILL fall off 😂
Why did yours come off in the laundry room? This was one of the rooms I was thinking of doing it in.
It works! 👍🏼
In our larger camper that we use now, there are nice windows in the bunks.

Thank you for all of the creative ideas! I'm definitely going to do the window cling, floor tiles, and wallpaper in my new apartment!
I’m very pleased with it..🥳🥳
Thanx for sharing your great video full of brill ideas! Blessings to you, you’re home is lovely.

I use the spray on privacy film.
It looks like frosted glass, got it at Home Depot. You can also use

than the rolls.. One can covers 2 huge windows, you need several
sprays...❤

What I love about your channel is that your content is unique & not duplicated like a lot of others. Very creative and refreshing
😊❤❤
Link a picture to what you're describing. Please & thank you.

And my daughter says “Mom you can turn anything into a home!”
So thank you for advice I m checking out Amazon.
I never knew about the border stickers or the wood trim!! I'm actually feeling enthused to try it in my house! I've been in such a decorating slump, this has revived me! New subscriber!
Love it. My mom rents and has ZERO on her walls because they are concrete. This will help her a lot! Thank you!
I love this. I've used peel-n-stick wallpaper in my last apartment on the kitchen for a backsplash and it was great. Hoping to try the laminate floor in my new place. :)
I love how you installed the bathroom floor over the plastic! I must keep that idea in my back pocket 😊
Great vid. No longer a renter, but love the idea for the border on the valance. I've been trying to figure out a way to enhance mine. I think I'll try the 3M shelves. I just brought the nanotape, but haven't used it yet. It came highly recommended in one of my decor groups.
