Very nice!! Looking for ideas, I have two dressers that were handed down, been in the family for generations, they're 75+ years old, but very nicked and scratched up. They don't make furniture like this anymore and I really want to refinish them before I buy something new just because of the look. ❤
Just found this wallpaper at the thrift store in tan & today I searched diy wallpaper on dresser. Your amazing video was the first to show up. Excellent upcycle
Your dresser turned out beautiful! I love the wallpaper and pulls! The mirror is also beautiful, I have been looking for a mirror like that for my room too! You did a nice job of styling the dresser as well:)
If you use this dresser everyday it's not a good thing the wallpaper will get nicked easily, did this 30 years ago with actually the same embossed paper, try using anaglypta paper instead , it's not foam sprayed embossed, if you want to do this. And do the old system for painting 1 coat primer , 2 coats topcoat. I know ,I know, you want to get done in a hurry, BUT SERIOUSLY if you have time at home to do these projects , use the best method .
This is good advice! I’ll have to check out that type of wall paper next time. I use this dresser everyday, but luckily it’s held up very well - no nicks just yet :)
Im in australia, i have the exact same dresser which was dark brown, and i spent 3days painting it white, but yr curved piece under to top pulls out mine doesnt, but im going to check it out, AND im going to wallpaprr the front draws too, it jusg finishes it to i high spec, thanks so much
Thanks 😊 Yes, it’s actually considered to be wallpaper - so it should work on the wall as well! It’s made with a pre-pasted material, so you’d only need water to attach it! I haven’t tried it before though!
hi, always like your videos! i like this idea and you make it look so easy. i have matching bedroom furniture pieces that i had painted behr’s white mocha a few years ago. i would consider covering the two-drawer, night stand for a different look…baby steps first.
I really like this method! This is so much more convenient for the girlies who don’t have access to a garage or a spray painter!
I was wondering how to personalize my dresser and make it more my own. Love the wallpaper, thank you!
Sweet! Such an elegant yet simple transformation! Thanks for sharing!

Yes!! The wallpaper makes it such a unique piece ☺️ Thank you for watching 💕
Do u wet the wallpaper instead of wallpaper paste or glue 2 put on drawers
Love this! I just bought a mirror similar to yours. Any suggestions on how to prevent the mirror from falling?
I love that idea 💡 I wonder if it will stick to the wall good and won’t come off or so you need to glue it?

Hi Joyce! I always look forward to your sweet comments ☺️ That’s awesome - this wallpaper technique is super easy & makes a huge statement!
@@sweetvanillajamilla awww, thanks! i look forward to your next video.
i live it , what finish did you use?
Hi! I used "BEHR Clear Fast Drying Polyurethane Sealer Aerosol" as the top coat to seal it!
Here’s a good idea
very nice, you could think of framing the drawers
It turned out great!! how many rolls of contact paper did you end up using?
Thank you! I just used 1 & had a lot of extra! ☺️
Nice
Lincrusta I believe this style of wallpaper is called. I learned about it from a video about the Winchester Mansion in San Jose
Ooh yes! Thanks for sharing ☺️
Is the dresser 100% wood? What kind of paint did you use?
what top coat finish did you use please?
