In SF, my tech co-workers used to listen to NPR before work and brag about how smart they are. "This morning on NPR, I heard..."
I used to listen to NPR, about 10 years ago. Then, their already biased reporting went into overdrive and I couldn't take it any more. I could predict what was on the radio before I even turned it on, one of three things:
1- Sad marginalized group is sad and marginalized
2- Trump bad
3- Base statistics (weather, sports, stocks)
I was right about 90% of the time for like a year. Then, I just shut it off. Tried again a few years later and it was three segments in a row about the plight of blacks and then one about women, followed by a bit about Trump being bad. Garbage propaganda channel.
