No one should be required to get this new ID. It's a federal ID and if you have a passport it is unnecessary or it will make passports unnecessary. Regardless they will give a illegal who can't prove who they are when entering the country a drivers license in most blue states but I'm required to bring multiple forms of proof of identity when my license already did that. They also scan what ever documents into the system so kow a entire mortgage statement with account numbers social security info, how much I owe is all in the data base that anyone working there can look at. It took all I had not to go crazy at the mva but I realized that the mva employees have nothing to do with it and probably have heard it all before. It's the stupid politicians who need to hear about it

I have been legally in the US for 12 years. Business owner. Tax payer. Last year i paid 500K inn salaries to US citizens. And 1- can't become a citizen yet 2- don't get a 'real ID' DL in my State. I am sick of the illegals getting benefits paid with my tax money too!! Coming legally and follow the rules makes no sense at this point
