A more simple method is to wait till the current song that is playing to reach a point where u hear no vocals only the beat n just do a loop n play the other song that starts with the vocals first 💯

Yep,a very useful vid,these tracks are typical of Dark and Full on Psytrance tracks
You can use Serato Flip for this too, instead of editing it in Ableton.
Infact it's a great way to learn the basics of Flip mode.

Yeah in this case the vocals start on the last beat of the bar so I would use a hotcue to cut it up with the crossfader before I drop it in.

When we didn't have sampling fx. And the track began before the first beat, we would count how many beats they were before the first beat and substract from the total of 32 . And lay the acapella over the ending instrumental part of the ending track . In your example start at the last 7-8 -1.
There’s so many other ways to accomplish this. You hit the ‘if you’ a beat late, 1 beat earlier would have sounded perfect or just don’t mix it & drop it on the one 🤟🏼

If you’ve never used Serato flip you can make the intro edit that way.
I'm not sure you can combine parts from two songs into one flip. Far as I know you can only record jumping around within the same song.
Hi Phil i have the question where start transition in extanded songs ? Sometimes one song have 10 sec extanded anotherone have 40seconds i don't know how to connect these two songs

Phil, assuming you knew where the vocal phrase began couldn’t you just use the vocal intro as an “accapella” over the outro drums of the live song?
yes you could do that too. In this case though there was only one beat of vocals.
Just use the beat jump function to go 1 bar before the beat (so that u go to the silence just before the vocals) and then use ur beat capturing senses to beat match the song just 1 bar before the original song and use ur filters

This seems really complicated as you're going to have a song playing before it and not the same one unless you're using 4 decks
