One DJ that I haven't ever heard you talk about or analyze is armin van buuren. I'm just curious if you know anything about him, he is my favorite DJ. I think it would be cool if you did a video or two about his work.

Burn your phone, buy, as others said, a cheap controller to start, buy tracks and get a feeling for what kind of dj (music, genre) you want to be. This is a process and the earlier you start, the better it is for you and the audience :) If you really need 6 years to have enough money for CDJS etc. find another job. But the most important: burn your phone :D and get a normal controller like the DDJ-400. I'm sure you will do your thing and find your way, especially when i hear you're already practicing on a bloody phone. Wish you the best!
