I love the contents that u have shown us.
last but not least. Thankful to be well and getting to see your video
Fuck the change in content everyone is goving out about… keep the old out in the woods videos cant get enough. Love the content
I'll admit there are some of his episodes I don't find particularly entertaining but I also realize his channel doesn't revolve around me. I've been watching him for years so yeah there is a loyalty aspect because he puts out way more content I'm interested in than I'm not. I'm still gonna play the video even if I'm not paying attention to it. He's a veteran who is trying to make something out of himself and reach his goals so I'm gonna support him.
Agreed, I need my vicarious woods time
Forge videos hit tho
@@robtathome Agreed, no one else does it in the Bushcraft field that I have seen.
Do remember that he has done a LOT of these videos, and you probably haven't seen all of them.
He's done videos about all sorts of outdoor stuff, including crossing obstacles via a rope bridge.
Making a bird's-nest. Have a great one everybody from Tampa Florida..
I love that you made the point of conservation of the materials thank for great content.
Love the detail you went into with this video. Great explanation for why certain material doesn't just light up right away.
Thanks for the video. Extremely informative for newbies. You and your time are very much appreciated. Keep em coming.
Love the title. Veteran mode AF.
Appreciate what you do, Shawn! you're one of the ONLY channels I look to for real information and no BS. Please keep up the great work and peace to you, Brother!
We have just had a Master's Class in fire making and tinder bundles. Thank you sir.
Holy crap over a million subscribers! I subscribed when you were under a thousand lol
I've not missed a midweek video since you started them or Sunday video, and I've been watching you for at least five or six years, likely longer. I buy the Etsy merch as well. I do what I can.
Your message of conservation in this video is underrated. Making what you have last as long as possible, then acquiring resources from your environment when what you brought runs out, is common sense. Knowing what to look for requires learning, which is why I watch.
Thanks again, Shawn. Your content is interesting and entertaining......but mostly educational.
Stop addressing the haters and people who don't watch your videos all the way through! It's not gonna help you (I think). We are here for you; fuck them; be positive!
Easy for you to say maybe start your own channel to gain knowledge and experience...try to be like the Corporal he knows what he is talking about...your welcome...
Great instructor and always love the videos.
East Coast vs West Coast….just like the’90’s rap scene. Word to your Corporal! 🍺🫵🤟🇨🇦🫡🇺🇸🤟🫵🍺🫳🎤
I've made a few friction fires in my day. Gotta love sagebrush.
I think one of your most important points is conservation of resources. How long will your flashlight batteries last? Learn to make your way in low light situations. How many times can you flick that Bic? A few pieces of fatwood can go a long way. I built a fire last night using three pieces of fatwood and in the back of my mind i could hear Shaen say " Why are you using so much fatwood?" I was just being lazy when i should've been practicing skills.
I come and go but you’re always here making a new video. Keep it up. Great job. Haters are going to hate no matter what.
Yes sir here on time thanks again for the useful skills Shawn.
Want you to know that I save all your videos into a reference file and go back and review them. They are a whole camping encyclopedia. Thanks as always for getting it right!
Everything you do is five star, Corporal. You've educated and entertained an old Boy Scout. Thank you
Outstanding, Corporal! Enjoy all of your videos. Thanks for posting!
Good stuff! 'Collect as you go' is a way overlooked skill and a necessity in the deserts of the Southwest. Remember Native American history - 'hunters and gatherers'. It goes for water resources as well. Thanks for the 'Arizona' shout out - not much desert based 'real survival' info out on YT.👍
Easy peezy 😊. Well looks easy peezy. Haven't actually done this but from watching and listening to your instructions I think it could be easy to accomplish the first time. 😁👍
Just got my bottle and cup set, it's cool AF, may be too nice to take camping.
Got mine today as well!
I've always believed in being conservative. I thought my kids to be conservative. And you're right on about being conservative in the field of bushcraft, and survival. Keep up the good work and God bless
Another great video!!!!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding AF!!!
Great video going back to basics and LEARNING how to create fire from the area you live using the materials from around you - the “nest!”
Whatever you make I’m gonna watch. I learn something new every video. Since the invent of social media there are some that feel their opinion matters more typed out. Only problem is those are the ones that will FAFO and end up dying because all they did was complain and not learn. Thanks for all you do Corporal.
I've been watching your channel for a couple years. It's very obvious you know what you're doing and are teaching from real world experience (sometimes under the worse conditions imaginable in military service). I think many of the tens of thousands viewers you have would agree..... haters are going to hate regardless of what you say or do. When you refer to them, you're giving them recognition and a platform for criticism. Screw these people and their comments. I, for one, don't care what they say and could give a crap,
Keep up what with what you're publishing on the Tube in the format you're using. Stop referring to the haters and negative comments you receive.
Carry on.
West coast....I use cedar bark for my bird's nest ..... It works awesome
Simply amazing!!!
I’m not a person that likes videos… I don’t comment. I want to say that you are worth a comment. I watched u regularly for the last couple of years and I only have one complaint. Fuck the haters, don’t give them any recognition and move on. Survive and advance. As per content of your videos, you have a huge following, I’d like to see more long term survival skills… mainly water and food. These are the things that will help more people, especially in your area of this beautiful country. Just food for thought brother…in the end keep doing you.
Another great mid week video Shawn. This week’s lesson, conservation of resources. 2 is 1 and 1 is none. If everyone is paying attention, it wasn’t only about building the fire bundle and having spare material if needed. Also look at his gear. A Kabar on his waist, a Garberg to make the fat wood sawdust and the SAK when cutting the notch in the bow drill setup. Corp you are a master educator and storyteller. Still hopeful you’ll do a couple more car camping episodes in the future. But no matter what you’re making, me and my boyskis will be watching. As always stay frosty AF. 👍
Yay! Love the bushcraft , survival videos!!! Keep em coming!!!
Another awesome, informative video. Thanks for sharing and take care.
I keep an everlasting match in stitched in to my pockets ,always
Possum mentality baby
You really are the best teacher. Easy to follow and throughly explained. See ya Sunday!
That’s awesome he said follow me for common sense
We need eggs and bacon!!!! 🥓 🍳🔥🔥🔥
Great mid week video. Thankfully all the years I've learned survival skills, I was never taught that it had to be this or that for many things. As you said it's all about properties and techniques.
Great job Brother!!!
And my corporal corner hoodie on the way
thanks
Rocking woodland camo like a champ! Thanks for doing what you do what you, brother! Love your work, keep 'em coming.
All points covered in this short video will save your ass when stranded in the freezing woodlands alone! Opossum mentality and prepare for future needs at all times! Thanks again Corp. appreciate all you do for US.
Y'all did see what knife the man was carrying didnt you? Good ole Garberg....aka Swedish Beast...great video

Great vid Shawn... the basics are always good to review and review. And the "vintage" rope crossing at the end ALWAYS makes me smile
Another fantastic mid-week video. Thanks Shawn.
You nailed it with the Common Sense comment. In todays world lots of people get caught up with all the new gadgets and such. I like the fact you keep it old school and the way you present your videos make it easy for everyone watching to pick up tips and tricks.....Keep up the great lessons
Awesom lesson Corp.
I'm getting my zip up tomorrow when I get paid. I'm so glad you came out with those!
Wish you would do a video about how to avoid snakes curling up with a person. I live in the south and copperheads are plentiful here. Thanks and keep the videos coming.

For those that cry, "he's done this skill a thousand times already!" You learn skills through repetition. Keep up the good work 10,000 more times! Btw, come to Utah! It's nature's playground.
Thank you for all you do to help everyone. Still loving your videos 💯
Another killer video as always
Love your channel, than you for all you do and share. Looking forward to getting the spoon and skillet when you’re ready to roll them out. To add to my collection of Corporals Corner metal work already purchased, regular fork, meat, pork, and Flinton steel. I’ve enjoyed the pullover hoodie and looking forward to getting the zip up hoodie.
You Rock buddy, keep up the fight and as always, love your channel.

My son thought you were me when he was 2 years old because we watch you every Sunday. Thanks for sticking with it and we're looking forward to more father and son camping videos. Hopefully medium sized dude will carry the torch one day as well.
Always great info.
Very simple very easy
Great video corporal great knowledge everyone should know
Fine materials is what I am missing!! I had a hell of a time starting a fire one January night when we was wet and exhausted up on a mountain side in the snow!! I made the course from Cedar boughs with crushed up dry(ish) cedar bark in it! We had a Bic lighter but it took forever to get the damp bundle to ignite!!! Once we got it lit we was good to go, dried everything out and completed our operation!! But now I carry tinder, a small stick of fat wood a d some storm matches with the Bic lighter and my knife!!
I carry a bigger piece of fatwood I drilled a hole in it with a paracord loop and I attached it to my Ferro Rod, with a small carabiner, that way they're together and a 2 bics, one in my pocket one in my pack. And i bring fire discs starters i make.
@@BUZZKILLJRJR that drill hole in the fat wood sounds like a fine idea!
Thanx friend. Peace.
