I know Jerry Springer is gone now, but I always enjoyed your "Final Thoughts" when you've added them.
Is there any possibility of that making a return at some point?
Your words were helpful for me in the past year for getting out from a shitty day job and back into having self-employment income again.
      You're an inspiration, thank you.

I really like the idea of you doing some videos with the general theme - “don’t do this/ do this”. Those things that really don’t work in the field. The only way most people learn those things is through some painful experience. You could save them/us some pain and continue to share your wealth of experience. Love this channel Corporal!

I appreciate two quality videos waiting in my suggestion box after arriving home. Shawn is always faithful in putting up great content. Thank you for making these videos. I don't think people realize why staying warm is exactly very life important don't think cold can you kill your wrong. Yes I do listen and watch your I also use the techniques at work because we don't deal with in field injuries. Yes I soak in your knowledge and I use it work and it comes very in handy.

Hey Shawn with sincere respect I watch your videos to learn something I don't know or something I haven't done a long time like forging haven't done that since high school so watching your videos on that helps me to re-educate myself I think maybe some people get put off on that because they don't have that kind of equipment at their house I certainly don't but watching you do that you know give me inspiration maybe I should look into that. But I'm going to be truthful and try to be respectful at the same time sometimes I have a hard time watching every video because I feel like I'm going to get reprimanded if I didn't watch your video because of personal things going on in my life maybe I just don't have the time but I don't want to be reprimanded I'm going to go back and watch and maybe doesn't help in the UA-cam world. that I catch it later I don't know but but this is just a thought again just a thought maybe take a hiatus on reprimanding your viewers for like 2 months give us 2 months give us 2 months to see if well the best way I can put it is from old Lynyrd Skynyrd song gimme back your bullets. You get your just cause you get your ratings going good if not hey go back on the reprimanding best viewers like a drill Sergeant 😮

I liked the stuff you've been doing since the beginning of the year. As a history teacher I can use your videos as a means to introduce my students to the "way things used to be done" years ago you did a concrete video (You did that years ago) and I use it every year when I introduce them to Roman Concrete and I plan on using some of the ones you just made. Keep up the good work. I also like the instruction on the knots and the stuff like today's, building the shelters. It's ALL great! You have variety. Just keep on trucking.

But I would like to see a 2-3 part series (spaced over once a month maybe?) of utilizing vehicles (cars/trucks/ATV’s) as part of your improvised shelter builds. I’m not talking about overlanding in any ways. More just breakdown and shelter needed scenario

Thumbs up, Leatherneck! The raised bed set-up is priority know-how. I'm a former Navy doc (8 yrs) & an Army Redleg (4 yrs). The straw is a great insulator. However, Marines carry a folding ground pad while Army infantry carry the rolled up ground pad. Both combat convection. In your scenario, these ground pads are too wide to get stuffed in as shown. But the ground pad can lay on top. I always keep my gpad with my bivy bedroll (2 Pathfinder queen wool blankets folded to fit inside my bivy). Thanks Corporal K.

Love this shelter. Fantastic idea to insulate the bed. Your to hard on everyone. I watch almost all your post. Everyone has a life and concerns of there own. What's with that music? Irritating. Your informative and helpful. I love your survival skills. I feel like you give us your best. These last few years have been super challenging. I'm certain i'm not the only one. I come to you for stress releif. This is the best shelter i've seen anywhere. Your eating a favorite of mine. God bless. If we are at war next week. God bless keep you and yours safe. Nora
