    Nice one Dave. I realise that this is too late to help with your video, but Gache is actually pronounced as if it were spelled Gosh. As in "gosh that looks tasty!" I'm from Guernsey btw.
    You may also want to try Gache Melee (gosh mel-are) which is a sort of apple cake. Even nicer, especially with a dollop of cream or custard.

    I never heard of Guernsey Gache. Looks really delicious :-) A "BIG" thumbs up :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!

      +MrMegaFredZeppelin thanks MegaFred , like i said above just needed to be a little more moist. i dont ever practice anything before a shoot , i just wing it and see how it turns out , usually its good , but with every new recipe you learn a little new every-time.

    Hi, Dave. You served it just the way I would have: toasted, with butter. Did I miss the addition of sugar, salt, and cinnamon or nutmeg? (:

      +lemoncrinckles no cinnamom or nutmeg added , and the spoon of sugar was just to activate/feed the yeast , in the water, the sweetness of the bread comes from the dried fruit alone.thanks for watchin Steffi.

    Please don’t call it gash! It’s Guernsey Gâche. Gâche is pronounced like gosh.
