Now this is high eating Dave, digging this all the way.
Really like Scotch eggs, yet have never tried Haggis - now I am on the hunt for some Haggis here in the states!
actually its real nice , especial served traditionally with mashed taters and mashed rutabaga, even tinned haggis is fine if you cant find fresh or frozen.
Enjoyed watching this, Dave! Havent had haggis and eggs in ages. May have to do this soon!👍
thanks for watching and taking the time to comment very much appreciated.
Haven't had a scotch egg in ages but these look GREAT!

I'll need to give this idea a go at some point. Big fan of a Scotch Egg and, naturally, a Haggis. Especially when they are in season ;)
Who doesnt love a scotch egg eh ? im watching the rugby , although im English by location ive Scots Roots so looking forward to Scotalnds Game tomorrow
Looks good Dave!...
Very nice, Dave. I would chill it like we Americans do to meatloaf (mined beef and pork, combined with seasonings, etc.), then slice thin and serve on a sandwich! Oh, yes!
Theres an idea a haggis meatloaf .awesome job Steffie
I'm in, but not much call for Haggis around these parts. I do like a good Scotch Egg thou. Nice Job Dave!!
thanks lumpy love a scotch egg too !
Breeding season for the haggis???!!! Did I hear that correctly? Hilarious!!! I think Scotch eggs (are they usually just wrapped in sausage) and deviled eggs were the two egg dishes that never really made it across the Atlantic in either direction. I'm afraid of the haggis 😉 can I just squash some sausage around my eggs?? 😊 These do look tasty!
Your stages are mixed up. The egg as is, is encased in the meat, only then it is floured, dipped in egg wash and then rolled in breadcrumbs. Sometimes double-dipped in the last two steps.
Coating the egg in flour serves no purpose.

Lol you did hear correctly sometimes my humour , doesnt cross that water too well , and my Scots accent, och aye noooo. yes just mould some sausagemeat around a boiled egg, breadcrumb, and fry.
