      Right?!
I understand the idea that children that young shouldn't be charged as adults, but two big things in this case IMO.
First off, no matter his age, he should NEVER have gotten out after one year. He should have been in til 21 if they could charge him as an adult.
Second IMO, I don't care how old he was. He only killed his mom but he tried to annihilate his entire family.
      Nope. Sorry pal.
Ifn if the excuse was he was mad at his dad for shooting the dog or his mom for being too tough why try to kill his sister this kid was crazy from day one and sadly unlike the second case where the military snuck in to cheat the double jeopardy law there was nothing like that that could be done here

@@4octaverealredhead the thing about that is it really isn’t easy to know who can or can’t be rehabilitated. We also live in the US and regardless of what that 7 yr was convicted of doing there is absolutely no way in hell it would ever be legal to immediately execute him. A 7 yr old doesn’t need to be charged as an adult even for murdering two younger children. That 7 yr old would most definitely need to be placed in some kind of mental facility of sorts where he could receive the kind of care he needed to be rehabilitated. I don’t give a damn what anyone says, there is no way that a child that young couldn’t be rehabilitated. And for anyone to say just execute a child that young needs help too. Who in the hell are you to say who can or can’t be rehabilitated? If you want to live somewhere that a young child would be executed then move to a country in the Middle East where that would happen and see if you are happier living in a place with that sort of “justice system”

Charlie's case highlights what I personally find the most frustrating about laws concerning children. I do think it is correct that children cannot be thrown in jail for a life time but often it feels like whatever they did is of absolute no concern and they'll just be released without concern again. Idk if in this case long term therapy and some form of check up by law enforcement or some sort of organisation could have done anything but it sure would show that committing murder while under 14 isn't a free for all.

    • @birdybanks5819

I have a problem with letting someone under 18 out of jail after committing murder in most cases. Typically, the murderer is over 14-17yrs old which is close to being legally an adult anyways, therefore the age doesn't have that much to do with the murder except for some who realize they can get away with it because of their age. Evil is evil. The only exception, IMO, is a child of abuse who finally can't take anymore and protects themselves.

Hennis’ case was even more crazy than described….. the defense cast doubt on Hennis as the murderer by producing another person that fit witness descriptions down to the black members only jacket. It was enough to have him acquitted. Turns out the other person was just an innocent teenager that lived in the family’s neighborhood that enjoyed going for walks at night. He looked shockingly like Timothy Hennis. So glad the Army decided to seek justice.

    • @tatsumisouma
      @tatsumisouma 12 днів тому

For me, it's not even that but....I have two questions:
1, Why didn't anyone think of the possibility that Hennis wrote the letters?
2, if the reason is because the letters were not from a place he could've been sending them than there's two possibilities. He must've known he will be sentenced days before his sentencing and sent the letters so he will be freed due to the new evidence. Or, and this is my theory; he didn't commit the crime alone. Imo he asked the other person to write and send these letters so he can be freed. Also, murderers rarely unalive their victims in different ways so imo he stabbed two while the other person did the rest to the poor kid and because he wasn't mentioned by witnesses, the police and the court did not look for a second person

I hate when it's said "he had a normal childhood and upbringing" and then right after "his dad shot the family dog in front of him".
It's never normal and good. It's always bad in one way or another: neglect, violence, abuse. Crime is STRICTLY connected with bad parenting and lack of love. There's no such a thing as a perfectly normal and nice family that randomly produces a serial killer. There's always something when you look into it.
The fact that his sister, Angela, didn't tell her brother's wife about his past is already dysfunctional as heck. How do you even expect someone who wanted to kill his entire family at 13 to be NORMAL when he goes back home at 14?

I'll never understand these murders like the guy Tim's. Seemingly...aside from this one family killing...he's lived a normal life, had a wife, family etc.
But I just can't wrap my head around the idea of killing one time...and then going on to live a normal life. Don't get me wrong, I don't understand killing at all. But it's almost like I understand serial killers MORE than I can understand this guy. At least with a serial killer we can gather that they're sick...depraved...have some underlying NEED to do what they do, and they can't control it. I look at it sort of like an addiction for them. It's a disease of their mind.
But this guy Tim. WTF? Who just goes and kills an entire family once...for NO REASON and then just goes about living a normal life? Did he simply decide that killing wasn't for him anymore? Maybe they were on his bucket list of things to do in life? (Go skydiving-check, kill a family-check, visit Italy-check). I mean seriously.....WTF?

I have so many unanswered questions about Charlie (the last case)... I thought he shot his mom and dad? Did his dad survive? How did the sister running away protect the younger 2 siblings (minor question lol)? What about his children? How did they convince the siblings that their mom died in a car crash? I understand when they were young, but I'd think that they would eventually look into it for themselves when they got older. Did he just leave them in the house with a bunch of dead bodies? I'm assuming that it would have said if he'd killed them. Who ended up with his children (Charlie's already traumatized sister?)?

      1. he said in the video the dad only ended up severely injured
      2. the sister running protected the other kids because charlie had to chase her out the house and away to try and stop her from getting help in time
      3. the siblings were young kids who had no way of finding out charlie shot the parents other than if they somehow connected him leaving for a year after the deaths later in life to that incident
      4. the dad kept the all living siblings, and again it was stated in the video that after the year in psychiatric care that charlie returned to the family and I guess they all just decided to forgive and forget as fast as they could since the sister that was almost shot but ran said charlie didnt look like himself but seemed to be in a trance

Im curious to know why did he commit suicide after he killed michelle and his wife? As stated in the video he killed a lot of people because it looks like he was experimenting on them, why did he kill himself?

27:37 Well, I could see this coming, considering how he murdered his mother and tried to murder his father and sister. Being in that age and committing such heinous acts doesn’t bode well for the future. Sad case.

Justice system is so odd and weird, that they release criminals and convict the innocents.
A kid that murder is still a murderer that should be put in jail or at least, under strict parole monitoring.

Disturbing to think Timothy Hennis was in the military all those years. Likely murdering with impunity.

When you give a person 1 year in prison for murdering and attempting to murder their parents, guess what? They are going to think the behaviour is acceptable in some way. What is wrong with the pathetic legal system?

15:59 Hey, you know how magicians use people to plant in the audience to help make the magician look more magical? And in my opinion, this feels like pretty much the same thing.
