The audacity of this demon to end a innocent person’s life because he was too much of a crybaby to fix his own life instead of blaming others because he failed his own life!!!!
@@HaggisMuncher-69-420yes let's take out our misogynistic views and once again bring women into this! 😀😀😀🏅🏅🏅 here's your 'stupid and most likely a single cunt' medal 😀
They need to punish first timers harsher so there is no repeat offense. The goal should be to prevent an escalation of violence/keep the streets safe for those who don't commit violent crime. The man who killed Jennifer should have been in prison for life for his first violent crime. Had the judicial system done it's job, Jennifer would have gotten to meet her grandbaby.
As a retired housekeeper and a senior citizen I do not open the door for anyone that I do not know. I have a window that I can open and speak from there, be forewarned, don't do it! Jennifer was a hard-working woman, she seemed like a wonderful person! It makes me so sad to think about this senseless act, what a pitiful useless man, Scott Nelson, a man-child!
As 32yo male I don’t open the door for anyone. The only time someone unannounced came to knock on my door, next time I knew he forced the door & tried to rob my apartment, thinking no one was inside…
As an Australian living in Australia, I agree with what you said, however if you lived in Australia you would open the door to anyone lol. We have a very different culture then FUCKED UP America
I'm also a senior female, and I don't open my front door, either. Not even a crack! A reasonably strong man (or, really, a not-so-strong male) could easily turn that crack into a wide open door with me knocked to the floor behind it - in just a heartbeat's time. Two seconds and you're at someone's mercy! I don't have a a camera, but I can hear through the door very well. Works for me!
Exactly… One morning I had off from work, I heard loud knocking at my door… It was early and I didn’t receive a text or call from anyone I know, so I didn’t answer. I told my husband and he checked our cameras, it was two men we have never seen in a dingy white truck… Could have been harmless, but I don’t care, I’d rather be safe.
@@jessicaellina3878yes and no, because this guy shouldn’t be doing this regardless because it’s illegal and terrible? Nvm the fact someone had to watch him cause he is an adult and in theory should be able to not kill someone?
Based on photos, huh? You think you can judge if people are good people or bad people based on their physical appearance? Interesting. I wonder what traits or characteristics would indicate someone is a "bad" person?
@@bigbastard_loldid you miss the part where people described how amazing she was and how much of a great soul she was?! They literally even said that in their comment!! Learn to read bro.
I worked with him in jail when I was working as a c/o and this shakes me to the core. He was really angry and always explosive in the jail, the letters read true, all he wanted was food. He was isolated on the 6th floor away from all other inmates. Good job ewu on this one!
He generalizes a whole group/community of people as awful, then kills someone who is not part of this group/community in revenge. Even in Scott’s skewed worldview, his sense of fulfillment at this action doesn’t make sense.
it is okay to generalize wealthy people as immoral, because they are. they dont deserve to die, and that's where he went wrong, but he was right to feel that the wealthy would chew us up and spit us out if that would make them some money. they wouldnt even think twice about it.
I think it actually makes sense in his twisted worldview, but he just doesn't want to admit it. He simultaneously wants to be one of them, but knows he can't and deeply resents them for it. Killing an innocent who was not affluent but associated with them was probably the easy way for him to have his cake and eat it too.
Everything he said about the community is right, I do not agree with him but I understand. But yeah he shouldn't have killed a house keeper, it's not his target audience
The level of this man's delusion & detachment from reality is one of the most highly disturbing incidents I have ever seen. RIP to all his victims, beautiful Jennifer & thoughts are with all the friends, family & everyone involved in this case which brought this monster to the cage he belongs in.
I'd be shocked too, if I hadn't met so many other people who think similarly. You'd be shocked to discover how many people around you only truly care about themselves. The really smart ones have gotten really good at a ting like they care because doing so serves them in the end.

After doing almost a decade in prison myself I'd never make it more then 60 days before going back to prison in the past. When the doc dumps you in a city with no resources, no clothed nothing but a state ID in your pocket. Well prison doesn't look so bad and I often would wonder what my friends in the system were doing at that moment. Anyways fast forward to today I've been out and had 0 trouble for 3 years now. I got myself a dog which helped teach me love, responsibilities, care, touch and all the things I'd forgotten about over the years in prison. Sure this last time I had a girlfriend to come home to but thar never changed anything before I'd still screw up somehow. But when I got the dog I had someone who loved me and looked to me for care for the first time it didn't matter what I did or what my past was, my little puppy looked at me for everything and I loved to spoil her with treats, bones ,gimmick clothes and so on. So that encouraged me to work and spending money fast made me think I could do better so I started going back to school to get an associates degree to help me land a better job. Anyways 3 years later I can't imagine going back to prison. But 3 years ago I couldn't imagine being anywhere but prison. If one person who's been institutionalized sees this comment and you need to adjust back to society get a dog. My best days of my life are when my wife and I take my pup meeka to the dog parks. There's nothing in this world that makes me grin ear to ear more then seeing my baby out there running with the other dogs having fun. She helped me get over my social anxiety, taught me responsibilities and just generally helped me live a much better life. I come home everyday I make my wife and I dinner then I'll make my meeka a fish and vegetables or steak, beef marrow, turkey or w.e I want to cook for her. I care for her like I would take care of a child. We're coming up on another year being free in February and I owe it all to my pup meeka (meeka means gods gift in inuit she's a husky which I care for dearly). I hope any other x prisoners to try something similar out and get your life back.
My brother was just like you it was always sad to see him out became it only lasted 1-2 weeks and he was back in ...now in his late 40's he's been out for 2 years I pray for him ,you and others 🙏
It has to be a really tough situation when someone holds you at knife point and says if you do what they say they won’t kill you. And then they kill you even though you cooperated. Here’s the lesson folks. Never believe they will let you live. Fight your azz off for your life.
See same sentiment here, do intelligent things, eg, that’s a huge house, and she knows it well, don’t give him a chance to tie her up, yes he’s got a knife a cut her and there. He looks like a physical wreck at that atm, whilst she looks quite spry, ran for your life, get into one room and locked yourself in, or give him the debit card that he can get lots of money from, instead she decided to guard her employers debit card, and let herself be carted around like a sack of potato by a man few yrs younger than her, with a colostomy bag.@@LifeBetweenTheDash Never ever let yourself be taken away to a secondary location, if you must die so be it, fight for your life. @@MyWeedgrower I still have a vivid memory of passing a man in the street one day, and he looked me in the eyes as he passed, and his expression for a moment gave me a terrified feeling and a chill down my spine. He didn't say or do anything, it was a busy street, lots of people, but the fleeting expression of utter cold hatred hit me hard. I'm still convinced that he was a psychopath who had a homicidal thought as he saw me, and I've never experienced anything like that before or since, even after meeting other bad people and surviving an abusive relationship. Something was off about that man and the way he looked at me, and my reaction was primal and viseral. All of my senses screamed that he was dangerous and to get away from him. I do think that sometimes we can spot the danger, the lack of human emotion, and if they drop the mask for a moment, like he did that day.

I thought, "Death penalty, please." Until I heard that was what he wanted. I hope his life in prison includes even less food for his treacherous belly. It's terrifying that pure evil can randomly enter your life one day and end everything.
Yeah- don’t ever think death penalty . I watched a crime story and the pedo literally celebrated the death penalty . He said he knew he’d live another 20 years in the state he was sentenced - if his day ever came , and he’d have a safe and private cell . If he were given life and put in regular population ? He said every minute of every day people would be gunning for him and his death day could be any moment of everyday . A whole lot harder life than a private cell with private security on death row . And ? It costs over 1 Million USD to see a death penalty case from beginning to end then another decade or 3 feeding and providing medical and guards for them . The death penalties a gift for most heinous killers looking at life without parole .
Honestly still want death penalty for him. That’s just something’s dbag’s like him say to be like yahhh I’m so dark I’m such a tough guy I don’t care about anything I’m invincibleeeee - but they don’t actually mean it. They are just living out some antihero cool guy BS in their wildest fantasies. If he really did want that - why not just commit sui****? It’s easy enough. If he’s really that “detached” and truly doesn’t value his own life - he’s got all the effed up skills pull that off. Like, go for it buddy! 🎉 Put up or shut up! 😙 What’s the hold up, my guy? 🙂 Because they DONT actually want the death penalty, narcissistic pricks like him value themselves too much. He’s way too narcissistic to actually believe that HE of all people should stop existing, let alone giving others the power to TAKE his life from him. It’s honestly probably his worst nightmare. He thinks he’s better than everyone and that people have “robbed” his entitled ass. So let’s rob him of life - keep the whole thing on brand. Though I feel like his life is owed to us. He had the tenacity to pull off killing an innocent human then made up some bd about wealth disparity just to get his d**k hard. If death is really what he wants for himself, that’s light work for a psycho like him. He was out on probation, he was free. Out and about. But oh…hm….he chose to kill someone else…. instead of HIMSELF? I mean if that’s what you really wanted - that was a prime opportunity to do so but it’s NOT WHAT HE WANTS. Who’s to say he won’t go on to kill some unlucky kid who got wrongly accused that happens to be in the same jail with him and he gets to feel that sick pleasure again? That dominance over another person? Why give him the opportunity? He shouldn’t have that power - he should be stripped of his right to life. Most likely he just wants people to believe he wants the death penalty so that out of “spite” he gets spared, and then in his tweaked out little mind he gets to believe he played everyone and got his way and he’s Mr.smartfarts and he “wins” “I want the death penalty” LOL PLEASE with that boohooBull. I believe some criminals with actual remorse truly want the DP - but NOT THIS LARPING DOUCHE. He is not the one he is a COWARD. I don’t buy it for a fucking second. It’s just some trash fantasy thing he says to boost his slimy ass ego, he’s sees himself as a supervillain that people secretly root for. He probably is obsessed with like whatever creeps decide to give him a cult following. He would soooooo be that dude writing fan man from prison to idiots that worship him from the outside. He’s poison to the rest of us - a complete lost cause. Why have him around prisoners that didn’t murder anyone that might be good people that got caught in a bad situation? Why risk their second chance, just to allow this dump truck to breathe air? Eradicate him, cremate him, dump him in a sewer, put him in an unmarked grave. Erase any shred evidence of his lousy existence. Make it a point to remind him he’s made no mark on this world, and no one will remember him except as a dumb failure. The best thing I think we could do is declare his existence and ego to be THAT worthless to the rest of us and taking all his sense of power and control. Narcissists know one fear, and that’s fear for themselves. I mean by god he’s complaining about his damn colon clearly the man thinks he deserves to live and have every single one of his needs met. The thing is, the human brain is powerful. I think the human brain can adapt to most any environment, to allow it to experience comfort on some level. And he doesn’t deserve that feeling. He WILL find a way to be comfortable and happy as possible as long as blood pumps through his worthless veins. I don’t want this guy to read a yoga book and start meditating and get to achieve nirvana or some shit no I want his brain shut off permanently. No more experiences for you. The loser already has a cell to himself, and is making deals with the police to “tell his story” in exchange for gifts to make him more comfy womfy. Please - you think a bitch like that actually doesn’t value his life? Let’s stop his garbage neurons from perpetually jacking off in that rickety ass bum skull and melt that stank ugly mug right off. Again If that’s TRUUUULY what he wants - (which again, I highly doubt) then I say SO WHAT. Worth it in my opinion. Yup let him have his 2 last miserable little seconds that he “so dearly wants and wishes for 🙄 to know he’s not walking around enjoying anything. like, k bye!! 👋 you’re welcome sweetie! Glad we could do this kindness for you, despite your rank ass worthless self not deserving it. And the rest of us get to spend our whole life’s knowing that his demented neuron firing squad is shut down for good and that we cleaned the earth of this self entitles prick. This guy said he did this for the money because he had nothing to feed himself or move on with life but he paid nearly $500 worth of items all Walmart before the murder. He hated the rich wealthy people living their lives around him but he targeted a house cleaner instead. He also said she was not cooperating with him at the house to get food and money. But he left the house with her, one beer, the debit card, the pin, and a expensive watch but took her with him and killed her. Its disgusting he knew he was gonna be put back in prison for life doing what he did but still murdered her anyways. Also he thought his PO sabotage his job and life so therefore he killed someone. THIS MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL.!! Anyways So sad for Jennifer. She never got to see her grandbaby in Texas. May she rest in peace. 🙏
It’s the typical kind of communist excuse to kill because the rich only got rich from exploiting others. It’s just spitefulness and jealousy when you boil it down. Same with this guy. But now in America we have a hybrid form of communist. One that doesn’t just discriminate based on wealth but now associating a race with that wealth (white people even though Asian and jewish people do way better and even African immigrants do better per capita). This is the most dangerous form of politics and if not kept at bay would lead to genocide.
Yeah, it clearly wasn't about money, or even "revenge" against rich people. If he just wanted money, he'd have robbed the place and left, or committed more armed robberies. If he wanted revenge on rich people, he wouldn't have kidnapped and murdered a housekeeper. Remember he bought his murder kit prior to all of this, he just wanted to kill. Likely because he has antisocial personality disorder (is a psychopath, basically), figured he had nothing left to lose and likely got a thrill out of it. He has no remorse because he has no empathy. Him whining about starving to death and wanting more food, my god. I hope they only give him disgusting food for the rest of his days.
He's a coward, attacked a defenseless helper instead of the rich men residing in that area. He kept calling Jennifer the b word when he's the biggest example of what a b word is
I worked in a PD for a few months, the amount of offenders that want to retell their crimes and how they're the victim-practically 95% think they're the victim. It's NOT hard to avoid doing illegal stuff. Shit gets tiring fast
I would assume most criminals probably do have some sort of crappy past, to be fair. I don't think most financially and socially stable people resort to crime. It is inherently an act of desperation. That being said, it is possible to be a victim without victimizing others.
I think this is a product of the system we live in. They all have something in common. Mental illness is a thing, horrible things can happen to people over years and years. I doubt this man was born like this. But yea, let's act like we could never do this. Every person alive has a threshold, every person alive could do horrible things under the right circumstances. You can denie it all you want, it would only show your lack of awareness.
Hell we practise war every year and somehow people are shocked people like this go crazy. We have rich people who's responsible for millions of lives. And it's normalized, people attend the war and want to be apart of the slaughter. Don't ever forget what kind of world you live in, and how pathetic you are to act like a "modern" human in a non modern world.
Everyone has a past & a lot of people experienced some sort of trauma in their lifetime… That’s no excuse even though many people use it as one. We all have choices. BTW Finically & socially stable people kill people all the time. Inherently an act of desperation!? Not true either. All murders (kill) are motivated by financial greed (steal), sexual lust (rape) or the pursuit of power (control) and jealousy. Sometimes only one of these motives is the driving force behind a crime. Sometimes two or more are involved. (self defense isn’t on the list) Then there’s some people that kill just because, for petty reasons.
I've watched 100s of interrogations with REALLY terrible people that have done terrible things... BUT this one is definitely one of the worst. The way he spoke of Jennifer as if he blamed her for ALL the wrongs in the world with such venom, I truly believe that Jennifer's last moments where more terrifying than anyone can imagine. R.I.P. Jennifer 💔
ya, he even admits that he knew she was a worker, from someone who knew her. the fact he felt justified, like he finally "got back" on "them" after killing a literal random lady is so fucked.
Well I hope he enjoyed that pizza its the last good meal and last decent feeling he will get. Im glad they are keeping him alive to suffer in a hellhole where those who oppress him will always be in his face and a coward like him wont do anything to a real threat.

The 5 year contraceptive implant seems like it should be included in some women’s probation rules : If they take parenting classes and show a positive probability of good parenting ? The scary part of many of these ASPD cases is the significant level of intelligence and self awareness many of them show while simultaneously detaching themselves from reality. Never know who's out there.
it makes total sense though, if you have aspd, specifically homicidal thoughts, and are a narcissist, your entire life you are using everyone around you as pawns, you have to evolve to have a certain level of sociopathic intelligence to protect your inner demons/desires. ugh. scary!

This is why I keep my Beretta on my hip or within reach at all times, even when I’m home. I had a guy break into my house once afternoon while I was taking a bath. I had no firearms within reach and was vulnerable AF, naked in a bath. I heard him kick he back door in and start rifling thru the house. I made my way into our attached master bedroom, grabbed my robe and pistol, then shouted at the guy that the house is occupied, I’m armed, and to quickly decide whether taking my stuff was worth his life. He fled the house. That taught me to keep a weapon with me even in the perceived safety of my own home.
So he killed her for $400?! Really? I'll bet she would have given him that. He describes punching and stabbing her like he was tying his shoelaces on a Tuesday. Now stop giving that guy food.
Exactly, she definitely would’ve just given it to him, he could’ve gotten his pizza and beer, got arrested and went back to prison, which is what he wanted to begin with, and no one would’ve got hurt. Just another demon that thinks its the worlds fault he’s a loser.
Hell he didn’t even have to rob her… he could have just stolen her cards when she went to the restroom or left the room. He would have had some petty theft charge instead of murdering somebody and spending all his years in prison. Dude is an idiot.. none of this was even required if what he wanted was just money.
He somehow managed to spend $500 when he was purchasing his supplies, but he is so wronged by the world and has nothing that he murders someone for £400???
These investigators understand the psychology of this kind of person well enough to know not to push back during their monologue, as they will freely give all of the information without thinking if they get to feel like they are bragging. Truly taking advantage of their narcissism to bury them.
yes, ive had plenty of dbags bragging about vile stuff to me, and when they quickly find out i despise people like them, they turn quick.. usually with a bunch of projected lies and blames, and plots to get me in some way.. you know, typical stuff dbags always do
A person with ASPD only reveals information because it's their intent to do so. He only divulged information after he thought it would help him get better treatment in prison. If he truly believed it would have no effect, then he would have had no problem being absolutely silent about it for life. Of course, people with narcissism tend to talk regardless but not everyone with ASPD has narcissism. It's a misconception that everyone with ASPD has narcissism (there's tons of other misconceptions too). This person clearly had it though.
The level of suffering that innocent victims like Jennifer dealt with makes me wonder if life is even real. I hope she's in a much better place, truly.
@marcosolo6491 Clearly, you don't read the room. I was speaking from an emotional perspective, not a literal one. I spoke expressively, and your response about cosmic justice and connecting me, a random stranger offering sympathy, to the murderer tells me more about your lack of understanding than it does demonstrate a lesson about my entitlement. Edit: I would also like to add that your view of "realistic" and "unrealistic" are subjective. _That place_ may absolutely be real, and you would have no way of knowing. Dreams are real. Death is real. For some, spiritual experiences are real, hallucinations and delusions are real, it depends who you ask. But that is my point... It is subjective. Is life real to me? *Sometimes.* That's my answer. Yours is yes. That's fine. As much as we would like to know more about the universe, we just don't. One small discovery could uproot everything someone thinks they know.
That poor woman. I’m sure as she begged him not to kill her, she mentioned that the night she was going to be seeing her new granddaughter for the first time. These killers are such monsters!
No matter how many times I’ve listened to a case, EWU always delivers new facts I’ve yet to hear and intense coverage. This is the best, most thorough coverage of this case I’ve ever heard. What a tragic loss. 💔
I read his backstory. This man was built to be a monster. Not to make excuses or feel bad for him but from an objective psychiatric study on trauma point of view, his past really explains the monster he is. He was raped by his older brothers. And he was raped and brutalized in jail for 25 years by inmates and prison guards and fed feeces and blood. This guy was physically and sexually violently abused. He knew nothing else. He was built to kill. That’s frightening. He picked a very vulnerable and kind person to slaughter.. he is one sick disgusting individual. He is the prime reason why we need better psychiatric programs in jail especially for those that have a release date. Many men and women are being released daily with no in depth psychiatric care. There is another sicko like him about to be released as you read this.. better psychological care in prison is a huge part of prison reform.

@@beverlybalius9303 it’s not a bleeding heart anything. FYI for example to perform an execution in the state of Washington it costs 24 million dollars per execution. However they abolished it 3 months ago… but when a state performs it Most of it goes to the private prison and pharmaceutical and the contracted medical doctors that perform them. It’s cheaper to house them. But I am not against the death penalty.
This man is truly a living example of what human garbage looks like. He is a raging psychopath in every sense of the term. What a horrible thing that poor lady had to endure at the hand of this mad man. Life in prison will be a greater punishment for him than death...since he will wallow in his rage and agonize at his living conditions.
Jacksonville is dangerous. I’ve been there one time, catching a flight back home from st Augustine. My son almost got kidnapped in the middle of the airport. A man in a turban ran up on us and tried to grab him up and when I screamed he didn’t flinch he didn’t slow down he kept it pushing at the same pace and never looked back. I swore I would never go back to that place.
@ maybe. It was in 2021. I could look at it and if I had any doubts I would be honest. He wasn’t very big or tall. He was fast. And his turban and outfit were white or cream colored. He was maybe a traditional man from a North African country or the middle eastern region. It was so scary.
This dude wined about mistreatment in prison and he had the audacity to kill Jennifer simply because this baby did not like the fact that she did not give him what he wanted. Wow! She was a working woman unlike him. He went through what he went through because of his bad choices which was well deserved. This woman worked hard. Selfish piece of garage this man. Glad he got caught and may he never get out now! What an atrocious individual! RIP Jennifer!
@simulationkoyo nope. No idea what you are referring too. But it would not surprise me. Many politicians wine and complain. Don’t know too much about him.
I can’t imagine complaining that I have nothing when I’ve never worked for anything. Unless you come from family money you work hard for what you have and the lifestyle you live. You can’t bum around in life and expect it to be handed to you. Why would anyone bust their butts working just to help out a lazy person? I have no sympathy for that.

What a nightmare! I don't know how the interrogators do it without losing it. You could tell that they hold back a lot. This guy was absolutely insane and I'm glad he's off the street. Poor Jennifer. She was so innocent.
How do you know? she might have been a real bitch, we only know what this guy has narrated and its easy to speak well of the dead. Don't be so over emotional. I am surprised you didn't add "fly with the angels", or some other cringey saying.
These people get in for different reasons. But to hear this type of stuff, interrogation for hours...i have a feeling that they seen things growing up to give them a hard shell....they want to help..
"She was so innocent" you didn't know her. And gurls young gurls are just starting the female trade of manipulation, liying, and passing blame. All gurls are guilty of something. To me at least.
Who was the person who told him about her? And said he wouldn't care if she was dead. Why didn't they look into that?! Curious if it was a lie, or a truth?
I've seen a few of this detective's interviews and he is EXCELLENT. The rapport he builds is incredible and he's almost soothing, while he pressures you into breaking. I really like his style. He should teach interviewing.
Hopefully he could do a guest spot with the Behavior Panel! That would be awesome. Jim Smyth did once, and it's a great episode. He's a Canadian investigator who is semi-famous in the true crime community since he got confessions from people like Colonel Russell Williams, and other high profile cases. Very gentle, polite, but brilliant interrogation style.
"A girl is dead, and I still have complete contempt for the people of Winter Park..." Which means he DEFINITELY would have done it again. Like many who become serial killers, they realize doing it doesn't actually satiate the lust, quell the impulse, scratch the itch. And their confidence in their ability to get away with it grows., and it satisfies them less and less each time.
This man had nothing to lose. In California, there are thousands of people living like this. No real emotional connections to anyone. No purpose. Just drifting through life from one short term dopamine hit to the next. So dead inside they are soulless. These are very, very dangerous & unpredictable people.
But are they that unpredictable. Of course people use drugs and things of that nature when they have been abandoned by society and screwed over by capitalism. Of course people do desperate things when placed in that situation if we could give them housing and some stability they would be as you put it more "predictable". Just saying these are also people and they deserve just as much compassion as any of us.
@@Joan41820 This guy had housing. He had a job painting until he screwed that up too. He's a self-absorbed jackass. This has nothing to do with the free market.
@GhostOfCarlJung I'm saying of course people in desperate situations will always do things that are extreme that's all. I'm saying if this person has support throughout their time maybe they would never have been in this situation at all.
@GhostOfCarlJung where did I show compassion for any killers in my comments? And I have also been in that situation that is why I said all people in these desperate situations need to have access to resources like free housing, UBI, and universal healthcare. I am saying those things would make the people that are in bad situations and are more likely to resort to crimes less likely to do that. That's just a fact.
@GhostOfCarlJung well if we can't sympathize with someone in scotts position or we're justifying murder I guess you deserve to be in the situation you're in :)
She reminds me of my mother in law. She's very hardworking, loving, and an upbeat person. She's an integral part of our family and a wonderful mil. I can't imagine the pain her family is going through and the memories & experiences he stole from her grandbaby is devastating. She was just about to meet her new grandbaby. Her daughter went through bringing a new life into the world only to find out her mom was missing a day later. I couldn't begin to understand what that must be like to be dealing with losing your mother like that...in that manner. My heart goes out to them. ❤ i hope they're doing okay and her grandbaby is healthy and happy.
I’m glad he wasn’t given a hot meal when he said he was hungry. He chose to come out with what he did because they didn’t beg him and he wasn’t happy with his conditions in jail poor poor him. This devil chose to set a example on a community because people worked for their type of lifestyle so he chose a woman who was a “worker” I don’t believe him he robbed and killed just because he’s a coward and didn’t want to be a man and tackle life and work for his own!! While I can agree it's absolutely frustrating to see well-off individuals blowing money while you are yourself down on your luck and could use even $10 to help, I can't say I've ever considered murdering someone over it.
But you're the only one to blame. Not people who went out and made their dreams come true. There lisn't some secret lottery where the government draws people's names out of a hat and they are all given the good jobs, houses and cars. If that were the case, then yeah, that would be frustrating. Instead of going up to someone who is successful and saying "give me" ask that person how they ended up driving a new Mercedes. If they say they did the same exact thing you did but just lucked into it, then again, i would understand a little. I'm guessing they will tell you it all started with getting good grades in grade school. Something that every single person who went to an american school was told from day one. And I don't want to hear "some people are born into money". Yeah, no shit. But again, someone in their family put in the work, and it paid dividends for their future family. If you go through life always putting in minimal effort, you will get minimal results. People who never learn a skill and are still working entry-level jobs into their 40s, 50s, or 60s have no one to blame but themselves.
There are wealthy people that are the salt of the earth, some of the best people ever. Some give and donate and have worked hard to get where they are. Then there are nasty wicked wealthy people. Equally there are very poor people who are the salt of the earth and some of the best people you can meet. Then there are very poor people who are completely wicked and evil. This guy falls into the later category. The ignorance of assuming that people aren't good or deserving of what they have without knowledge of them as people is insane!
@@511eden Envy is not about logic, it's about having something that someone else wants. Mr Beast is a truly amazing person and shares his wealth, but it doesnt mean people still don't envy his wealth and wish they themselves had that much wealth.
It isn't a disparity or unfair if someone has more than you. We live in a country where it is possible for most anyone to achieve wealth. Yet the ones who don't want to work for it are crying for government to use social-justice and other justifications to redistribute from those who have earned, to those who have not. People cheer when bad things happen to the wealthy, revealing their own true character. A handout won't make their lives better, because chances are, they aren't good with money anyway. They will spend $80/month on lottery tickets, or pay $500/month on constantly max out credit cards, but won't simply set that money aside to save or pay their bills. Today's world is conditioning the middle class to feel like perpetual victims so they cry out for government to swoop in and become mother. They will blame capitalism instead of using it to better their situation. They will point to countries far worse off than America because they have no ability to be grateful for what opportunities are in front of them. They don't learn from defeats, but instead cling to past grievances, always ranting about how they have been "screwed." No planning, no foresight, no ability to move forward. In most (NOT ALL) cases, people in these situations are not victims of anything.

The delay in calling the police was short enough to be known even if not as a certainty. Seems logical that he was just giving her that extra hour to show up. Frankly with so little sign of actual trouble at the house it is a wonder he called them that day. He thankfully knew her well enough to know better.
What a POS!! He could have had everything if he simply worked. He said he knew Jennifer looked like she was a domestic so, why’d he choose to kill her ? He should be immediately removed from existence the same way he removed Jennifer.

As somebody who is working HARD up from poverty to get to Winter Park to attend college, this is terrifying. I can’t imagine what Jennifer went through. It makes me nauseous.
I absolutely love EWU interview breakdowns - like many people, I can clearly hear from vocal stress when someone is lying, but I've still learned a lot about body language and other indicators of deception as well as the psychological aspects of criminals from you folks (and as someone who has been a crime buff from the age of 11, when I first picked up a magazine about murders and was hooked on trying to understand how these people worked because they were so abhorrent, I thought I knew a lot about abnormal psychology for a layperson!). The amount of work put into every episode, especially the several hours long interrogation videos must be epic, I'm seriously in as much awe as I am grateful for the efforts - I'd been gutted after Jim Can't Swim left YT and EWU more than make up for the loss!

As a resident of Winter Park who was living there when this occurred and still do, I wish he knew that he didn't scare us or change us. If anything, he made us more vigilant and attentive to the people around us. His actions will make it much harder for others to do things like this in the future.
WOW! This is probably the best definition of antisocial personally disorder that I've ever heard or seen. Thank you for presenting this horribly sad case to us & with the utmost respect given to his victim. This is my 1st intro to your channel. Great job!! Sad story😢
If a person does suffer from such a disorder, it means they can’t help how they think, react, and respond. No one chooses to have a mental disorder. No one decides one day that they want to be a psychopath, or a narcissist, or whatever. This doesn’t, however, mean that their actions are justified, nor does it mean that they should be set free, it’s quite the opposite, actually. These people didn’t choose it anymore than they can be treated for it. That doesn’t, however, mean that anything is ever going to be accomplished by simply calling them bad people. Until we recognize, respond to, admit, and bring awareness to these mental disorders, those who suffer from them will continue to commit tragic crimes against others. It’s no different with sexual disorders. Until we quit blaming them, like it’s something they actively choose, they will continue to hide, knowing that there is nothing but ridicule awaiting them, should they seek help for the urges & thoughts they are feeling. We’ve got to quit being so self-righteous and get our ungrateful heads out of our asses so we can make things better.
I enjoy this narrator's work (NOT AI), even in the midst of these horrific stories. He has this subtle way of putting a contemptuous twist on words describing the subjects, like "narcissistic," that telegraph his own feelings about them without tipping into open editorializing.

I won't ever go to another if a criminal has a gun they'd have to shoot me right there in public. Plus I skateboard and I can use it as a weapon if I had to fight. If I am ever stabbed in my heart I will fight against death as hard as I can. If you're ever duck taped or you're hands are zipped tied in back of you there's ways to get out of it. My dad was in the military so yes I was taught how to fight and avoid being a victim. I wouldn't have opened up the door to anyone I don't know especially if they rang the door bell saying that you have a package. It wasn't her fault that she got killed. If you're being attacked fight as though you are fighting for your life and never give up. Also be aware of your surroundings and go by your gut feeling. I rarely go out at night.

The death penalties a gift for most heinous killers looking at life without parole .
maybe you believe everything he said
Honestly still want death penalty for him.
Put up or shut up! 😙
What’s the hold up, my guy? 🙂
Because they DONT actually want the death penalty, narcissistic pricks like him value themselves too much.
Most likely he just wants people to believe he wants the death penalty so that out of “spite” he gets spared, and then in his tweaked out little mind he gets to believe he played everyone and got his way and he’s Mr.smartfarts and he “wins”
“I want the death penalty” LOL PLEASE with that boohooBull.

He said that he used a check, it may have bounced because he didn't have any money at all.

Get ready because it's just getting started, the fetasization and worship of victimhood is getting worse every year

A person with ASPD only reveals information because it's their intent to do so. He only divulged information after he thought it would help him get better treatment in prison. A man in a turban ran up on us and tried to grab him up and when I screamed he didn’t flinch he didn’t slow down he kept it pushing at the same pace and never looked back. I swore I would never go back to that place.
A turban? Would you be able to pick it out of a lineup?
@ maybe. It was in 2021. I could look at it and if I had any doubts I would be honest. He wasn’t very big or tall. He was fast. And his turban and outfit were white or cream colored. He was maybe a traditional man from a North African country or the middle eastern region. It was so scary.
The detective snuck in “is it pizza flavor?”
That was smooth.
Just seen that bros a menace 💀🤣

This dude wined about mistreatment in prison and he had the audacity to kill Jennifer simply because this baby did not like the fact that she did not give him what he wanted. Wow! She was a working woman unlike him. He went through what he went through because of his bad choices which was well deserved. This woman worked hard. Selfish piece of garage this man. Glad he got caught and may he never get out now! What an atrocious individual! RIP Jennifer!
dbag used the word need, not want
You are a girl, your intelligence is telling
@simulationkoyo nope. No idea what you are referring too. But it would not surprise me. Many politicians wine and complain. Don’t know too much about him.
Exactly. That big whiny monster made my blood boil!! He is a waste of oxygen and space!!!! Disgusting. I am so sorry for Jennifer and her family 😢
I can’t imagine complaining that I have nothing when I’ve never worked for anything. Unless you come from family money you work hard for what you have and the lifestyle you live. You can’t bum around in life and expect it to be handed to you. Why would anyone bust their butts working just to help out a lazy person? I have no sympathy for that.
the “oh yeah” he did when the cops asked if there’s anyone else out there that he killed I actually had chills run through my body he’s rlly a waste of space
20:10 interesting that the Detective asks if the snack is "pizza flavored", I guarantee you the killer immediately thought of his "blood pizza", without the detective knowing how symbolic the word pizza was

What a nightmare! I don't know how the interrogators do it without losing it. You could tell that they hold back a lot. This guy was absolutely insane and I'm glad he's off the street. Poor Jennifer. She was so innocent.
the law already knew what an evil bastard he is, so what do they do let him out of prison so ha can murder some poor innocent woman
How do you know? she might have been a real bitch, we only know what this guy has narrated and its easy to speak well of the dead. Don't be so over emotional. I am surprised you didn't add "fly with the angels", or some other cringey saying.
It's so hard to listen to detectives playing nice with monsters to keep them talking. Ugh. I don't know if I could have that much self control.
I am curious about this as well. I feel like that should be investigated more in depth.
I was wondering that too. I was suspecting her husband.

Narcissism at its finest, and truest, as an act and commitment to that status.
@scarletamazon3455 Jim Smyth is top shelf.
"A girl is dead, and I still have complete contempt for the people of Winter Park..."
Which means he DEFINITELY would have done it again. Like many who become serial killers, they realize doing it doesn't actually satiate the lust, quell the impulse, scratch the itch. And their confidence in their ability to get away with it grows., and it satisfies them less and less each time.
Thats the great thing about lust, it always comes back.

Poor poor Jen. 😢😢😢 So senseless. Hope her family is coping.
Scott Nelson is the one trial that had me (an anti death penalty person) leaning right into it.
The detective's comment "is it pizza flavored?" was ominous
The foreshadowing 🤌
Also when they asked him what he wanted to eat and he said anything. Then the detective asked if he liked pizza and he was like 😮
No shit i was like no way he didn't just ask that lol
I’m glad he wasn’t given a hot meal when he said he was hungry. He chose to come out with what he did because they didn’t beg him and he wasn’t happy with his conditions in jail poor poor him. This devil chose to set a example on a community because people worked for their type of lifestyle so he chose a woman who was a “worker” I don’t believe him he robbed and killed just because he’s a coward and didn’t want to be a man and tackle life and work for his own!! S/N it pissed me off when he said he wished he could of killed more people like her. What’s her Scott??!?!!! A hard working woman who got up and went to work. Disgusting
This guy sounds exactly like all the black lives matter people "they have it in them they just wanna send all us folx to prison and torture us and shoot us and get away with it"
yes, she wasnt a free loading mushy piece of crap like him, so he was fine with killing her.. besides, he was really just doing it to get money.. its call being a thief
They guy had a job.. that's what I don't get why not just work more or start a side business. Get back at the system that Way. Be successful
My mom is a housekeeper. This is horrifying... Housekeepers usually live paycheck to paycheck, same as many lower to lower middle class people... He had literally no reason to murder her other than he felt like it. Why the hell am I paying taxes to feed people like this?
He’s a real piece of work. I don’t know how detectives can listen to shit like this. This was so senseless. I will never understand how people take their anger out on people who did nothing to them.

Austin they are cowards...and it's a lot easier to kill people you don't know...and are weaker!! We often glomorise killers and such like but they are really the lowest of the low...not tough at all. The real tough people are the ones who battle through life like ants.
The delay in calling the police was short enough to be known even if not as a certainty. Seems logical that he was just giving her that extra hour to show up. Frankly with so little sign of actual trouble at the house it is a wonder he called them that day. He thankfully knew her well enough to know better.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who listens to true crime on my way home from work.
Voodoo like "voice analysis" and "body language" is what puts innocent people in prison. If there's no hard evidence, there should be no prosecution.

WOW! This is probably the best definition of antisocial personally disorder that I've ever heard or seen. Thank you for presenting this horribly sad case to us & with the utmost respect given to his victim. This is my 1st intro to your channel. Great job!! Sad story😢
Malignant Narcissist for sure.
