Miter Saw Dust Collection-DIY

I recently seen video of a fellow woodworker using a 5 gallon bucket bottom to upgrade their dust collection on their miter saw which appeared to do a good job so I decided to attempt it myself. I will leave a link to Roberts video down below. I first tried with a sour cream bowl just to save my valuable 5 gallon buckets that I use for scraps. Within two cuts I knew this set up probably would not work for me as my prior setup already did a pretty good job so I went back to my old set up and modified it a few times.
