@@robertlock7181 ah man that’s exactly what it’s all about dude. I’m glad to be the shoulder to lean on when you needed a distraction. Keep painting the pain away my dude!!! You got this. And thanks for supporting my dude.
ive just started in this and watched many videos, i dont comment much on youtube, but you sir are TALENTED and deserve the praise. I hope sponsors read this and support you, i subscribed for sure and after seeing your vids appreciate your tips and talent! kuddos!
Dude, this is incredible. Thanks for the great tips, links, all of it! New to the channel, and now a faithful friend, and subscriber. Much love for all you do dad!
Haha I didn’t want to do that!! Luckily I got it first time. Just used a really really small amount of paint almost just a dirty brush and brushed it loads before paint even came off onto the model
Beautiful sculpt and paint . I like watching other people sculpt and paint . It reminds me im not by myself when im going through it . One thing i would never film myself sculpting and painting its too distracting hats off to all who dont mind filming thanks. Happy creating............
It’s tough. Damn camera dictates where you can hold the model and slows everything down cos your arms are so far away from your body but you get used to it eventually
Hello, ! Your work is incredible. I am a beginner and I am learning a lot from your videos. At 6:14 in your video, you use something like an adhesive to mask off the piece and avoid airbrush overspray. I am Brazilian, and I haven't seen the artists I follow use this, but it seems very helpful. What is the name of this adhesive?
Turned out great! Although not my personal favourite incarnation of Harley, can't deny VX Labs turned out another banger here! For securing things like those pigtales I'd pin them myself. Most of my big prints involve either lengths of paperclips, cocktail sticks and bamboo skewers for removable parts rather than magnets. But you do need to decide that prior to printing, in order to subtract the pinning-holes from the model first.
Great video, always a pleasure to watch. Could you cover some of the printing stage in a future video? Any advice on preparing the files for printing, the printing itself and the prep before painting would be awesome. Thanks for posting these videos, the content is fantastic.
Absolutely I do plan on making a video like this probably a couple to be fair. For now there are a couple supporting videos to watch if you wanted to see my process over there just check out the printing playlist.
OMG! What a great job on the paint. You make it look so easy and those fishnets would be hard for me to do. And the tattoos are good too. Now I know why you didn't want to do this model for a while. LOL. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man hopefully one day I can afford my own resin 3D printer really interested in the hobby. Just recently got a filament printer this actually makes me regret getting it instead of a resin printer.
Really useful video, many thanks for this.I will try to use the same process on my Ray Skywalker and then I will test Harley Quinn . Models from VX Labs are amazing
Great work as always. Thank you for pointing out how you delt with the tattoos and writing on the bat. Also I hate sculpted eyes too. I always appreciate designers that include two head options, sculpted and smooth eyes.
Stunning work as always dude :) I can honestly say that I haven't seen a single video of yours that I didn't like. Amazing and keep up the great work :)
I don’t have a printer to do them unfortunately but they would have been ideal for this bat. I do prefer painting eyes though but you can’t argue with the crispy look of a decal.
@@Groundeffected my hands shake too much! Haha. But I use a regular inkjet printer. I just can’t print on white because there isn’t white ink on regular printers. I’m modeling the Evangelion figures and will use the decals for the lettering on the armor. The only prep you need after you print the paper is to spray paint a gloss clear on top. Like 5 coats. It’s really cool. I got the paper on Amazon
@@Groundeffected I had a look at Grendel's Mother, from Beowulf on VX-Labs and I think gold-leaf would make the figure pop. Thank for the great content.
Yeah I have this model and I likely will wait until I get a bit more skilled before I attempt it. Great video and you always make this look so easy. Can you share a link to where you got your magnets and what size they are? And your micro pen? Will you be posting a picture of your color palette?
Hey dude sorry for the late reply. I just get the magnets from Amazon 10mm x 3/4 mm is usually good. The thicker the stronger they hold. And micro pen is just a uni pen I think 0.5mm
watching a backlog of vids now. this guy is the best painter doing youtube vids. thank you man!
Those freehand tattoos and how you did the stockings are amazing Brent. Another fine video sir
Thanks a lot my dude

I use your eye technique on all my figures. Thank you so much for that. Brilliant!

always a pleasure to watch a pro paint

When will you do the 2 Ray Skywalker from VX Labs ? Thanks Eric

Great video and amazing paint job!! I’ve got a few prints from VX labs and after seeing this video I’m going to get Harley!!
She’s a tough one to paint but she does look cool.
Great work and I have learnt a lot from this, I am currently doing a variation of Harley, thank you.
beautiful work

Incredible work, well done.
Have you tried waterslide decals? I got waterslide paper that you can print at home and used it on my Tifa statue's eyes and came out really well.

I want to do something like this some day
Have you ever done like an opposite zenethal on a modal? Like where the light is coming from the bottom of the model? Thanks boet
Good pointer on the fishnets, I have tried that in the past but either used too much paint or not a soft enough dry brush
Defo too much paint. It took a good few passes before any paint even showed up on the model.
Another nice work bro! I admire the time you put in to the details such as the eyes and the baseball bat.
Thanks dude. Sometimes I resent that patience of mine hahaha it can land me days worth of doing one minor detail.
such a lovely model to paint, she looks amazing 😊
Thank you very much dude.
Always impressed with your content!
Thank you
Amazing work man! Climbing to the top!
Thank you bro. We still got a long way to go but thanks for being on the train while we chug to the top haha
Awesome job dude, you've got yourself a new subscriber.
Have you ever had the liquid mask pull the paint up that you were trying to protect?
Yup. Sucks big butt holes when it does. Make sure to sew properly with clear coat and give it good time to dry
that model is absolutely awesome. i sure wish i had a 3d printer
greay work. can you put a link to the magnets and the epoxy you use?
I love your videos. Just perfect in every way. I have one question. what color did you use for harley's hair?
Which kind of brushes do you use ? Which sizes ? And how long time spend making this Harley Quinn figure ??
You are awesome
Thank you so much
Amazing 🎉 that's awesome work 👏 looks stunning 😊
Awesome job on this.
The end result is brilliant, well done. Have you ever used gold-leaf on a figurine?
I haven’t done that yet. I might try it one day

Cpuld ypu please tell me what colors did you use for the part near the eyes ? It's a magenta and blue ? You remember the color name ? Thanks
one of the best, thank you dad
Absolutely Stunning work Congratulations As a newbie can this type of model be purchased , if I dont have a printer?
I’ve just printed this model and can’t wait to start painting her. One question how did you print the base?
Just threw it at an angle and pressed print (obviously I supported it) it fit my m3 max or sonic mighty one of the two (medium sized home printers)
Totally awesome dude!
