    It's the random bit of ham sandwich that does it for me... I love Wonder Woman but the ham is the social commentary we needed.

    I have had that skin tone accident more times then I care to remember. For some reason a piece of paint just falls off. It must be some reason that the paint, despite the primer just pops off. You don’t notice til your close to being done. Then you don’t remember the order of skin tones you used. Your heart just falls into your gut. At that point you just push it to the side and work on something else. My daughter suggested that I keep the bottles of skin tone set aside and number them. But it’s still a pain in the butt. Then again it’s certainly a great thing to do. You just have to man up and make the change to how I normally do it. My work bench is absolutely horrendous and now I’m forced to change my ways, which at 70, is not easy. Do feel your pain when this happens, and it’s always the skin. My Gran just laughs and says something unpleasant. Thank you for your hard work and although I’d love to be a patreon but my social security checks no way. Gran says to shut the lights off when you’re done and you won’t have to worry about patreons leaving the lights on leaving you to worry about the electric bill.❤😂

    i think 3d printing is perfect for learning how to paint big models. first off, its just paint, you can strip it off and try again, but even more so you can print 2, 3, or 4 of the same thing, try new colors, techniques what ever. if it doesnt work or you dont like it you can just chuck it out and only be out the cost of the resin. more people need to get into the printing part of model building, and these videos are perfect for that.

    The best teacher is experience, and if you learn from it and correct it then all the better! I make mistakes in most things I make and after I've cooled down and stopped fretting about it there is a great sense of achievement when it's finished and looking great.
    Thanks for posting and being honest about not always getting things right first time! The finished article is (as usual) STUNNING!

    Something similar happened to me on the face of a Joker statue I was painting this summer. I stripped off part of his chin. My heart sank after having put several hours into just the head (I'm new to this, so I move slow :) ). But I managed to fix it and felt damn good about myself, and also a bit more confident as before this I was terrified of messing something up.

    Hi! I'm still fairly new to 3d printing and painting but I noticed in your video after you clearcoated the skin you got the silver paint from her uniform onto the skin areas and then it disappeared. What did you use or do to clean it off?

    • @Groundeffected
      @Groundeffected  Рік тому

      That’s the purpose of the clear coat you can usually use water to wipe it off with a cloth or worse case some artist spirits stuff hahaha but if you don’t let it dry then you make a damage like I did on the thigh and once you through that clear layer it’s history. I made it worse by thinking I could keep wiping it off

    • @VidSure
      @VidSure Рік тому
