Another amazing video, and when there’s a picnic involved, I’m in! I’m thinking Wonder Women is also a defender of picnics everywhere! Thanks for showing the touch up!
What I have learned from you is that I need to keep purchasing these types of works of art from others because I will never have the skill to do them myself. You are legend and a hero for me. May Karma always smile upon you!
You kind sir are truly an inspiration to me. When I feel stuck on a paint job or don't have energy to start one, all I need to do is watch one of your video and man! that gets me working again!!! thank you!!!
I'm seriously so thankful for all your information. Pretty much every question I've ever had about printing and painting, you've answered at some point.
I have had that skin tone accident more times then I care to remember. For some reason a piece of paint just falls off. It must be some reason that the paint, despite the primer just pops off. You don’t notice til your close to being done. Then you don’t remember the order of skin tones you used. Your heart just falls into your gut. At that point you just push it to the side and work on something else. My daughter suggested that I keep the bottles of skin tone set aside and number them. But it’s still a pain in the butt. Then again it’s certainly a great thing to do. You just have to man up and make the change to how I normally do it. My work bench is absolutely horrendous and now I’m forced to change my ways, which at 70, is not easy. Do feel your pain when this happens, and it’s always the skin. My Gran just laughs and says something unpleasant. Thank you for your hard work and although I’d love to be a patreon but my social security checks no way. Gran says to shut the lights off when you’re done and you won’t have to worry about patreons leaving the lights on leaving you to worry about the electric bill.❤😂
Amazing work... I am just now finally getting close to print the stuff I sculpt in Zbrush, can´t wait to learn how to paint as well. Thanks for the video.
Ive learned so much from your videos, Picked up an airbrush and 3d printer for the first time and I am loving the results. Thank you so much for the videos.
Hi!! I'm pretty happy to find your Chanel, o really like to watch all the videos. Quick question, when u finish and the statue is finish, u put a clear lacquer layer at the end?
i think 3d printing is perfect for learning how to paint big models. first off, its just paint, you can strip it off and try again, but even more so you can print 2, 3, or 4 of the same thing, try new colors, techniques what ever. if it doesnt work or you dont like it you can just chuck it out and only be out the cost of the resin. more people need to get into the printing part of model building, and these videos are perfect for that.
The best teacher is experience, and if you learn from it and correct it then all the better! I make mistakes in most things I make and after I've cooled down and stopped fretting about it there is a great sense of achievement when it's finished and looking great. Thanks for posting and being honest about not always getting things right first time! The finished article is (as usual) STUNNING! Great job Brent. Although, I do feel short changed I wasn't told to F^&k off at the end...juss saying.
Dude, my name is James, I live in Brazil and I'm fascinated by your painting style and I'm always watching your videos several times a day trying to learn your female skin technique even doing the step by step “black prime, transparent red violet when the part comes of the skin tone hahaha I end up destroying everything because it ends up covering the highlights and the shadows hahaha what's the secret to this part?
Something similar happened to me on the face of a Joker statue I was painting this summer. I stripped off part of his chin. My heart sank after having put several hours into just the head (I'm new to this, so I move slow :) ). But I managed to fix it and felt damn good about myself, and also a bit more confident as before this I was terrified of messing something up.
Salut tu fais vraiment un superbe travail. Je te suis depuis peu mais j adore ton style et j ai un souci que tu peux sans doute résoudre quel or utilise tu stp?
Great Video and I like how you pointed out the mistakes you fixed. I liked this one in perticar because a few years ago I painted a very similar Wonder Woman in 75mm scale. Fun stuff.
I can totally relate to this video, I was constantly chipping paint off my work when wearing my rings and having to patch it up. Anyway, cheers for the content this year, hope you had a good Xmas and happy new year for Monday!!
Shove it in the holes dude. It’s jammed bio against the side walls and the inner supports etc. or use a paint brush handle that is right in the holes too.
Lmao!!! Awesome video bro!!! I just had something like this happen to me on a model for my son…. Holy crap bro… I was pissed!!! It so funny you came out with this video right after my mistake. I brushed on some primer and sprayed over the spot. Thank you my dude. Appreciate you
I don’t sell on eBay and I’m not taking commissions at the moment. Some models may be going on sale soon but I’m not sure what. And I don’t think I’d sell them through eBay though.
Do you not have an affiliate for canadian amazon or guessing not enough space in bio? buying lots of the stuff was just curious, helping me out immensely with these videos thanks dad
They make you open an account in each country and make a link per country too unfortunately they also require a certain amount of sales to keep the account and I didn’t make enough in Canada so they closed my account 😢 I’m not sure but if you click the other links then just change the country back to yours it might still work but I honestly couldn’t say wish I knew more about this stuff lol Bit I’m just glad you find my content helpful!
this is so cool, quick question though: can you get results of the printing model close to this with an fdm printer? Or do i have to get a resin printer and not even try with fdm?
Didn't find a way to contact ZEZ Studios to ask my question but maybe one of you guys know the answer: are the statues/models printable with a FDM printer or only suitable for resin? (I know about the quality difference but I want to stay away from chemicals).
If your settings are dialled in well I’m sure you could print a lot of their stuff on fdm. Most models dont have too many spindly little bits but again you would need a well tuned machine for good results with any models
hey dad. You give the best commentary, best painting and prepping instructions and the best uhhhh bibbidy bibbaby blu blugh advice on the whole of the Tinternet. you inspire me to make and push the boundaries of what i think i can produce. you my man are a Wizard of wizardish proportions. Thanks dad from one of your children. ps..i showed this to my Nana and she told me to F$%k off
Hi! I'm still fairly new to 3d printing and painting but I noticed in your video after you clearcoated the skin you got the silver paint from her uniform onto the skin areas and then it disappeared. What did you use or do to clean it off?
That’s the purpose of the clear coat you can usually use water to wipe it off with a cloth or worse case some artist spirits stuff hahaha but if you don’t let it dry then you make a damage like I did on the thigh and once you through that clear layer it’s history. I made it worse by thinking I could keep wiping it off
That is what is confusing me since it looks like you used an airbrush to aply the silver and the overspray got on to the skin. I would think the paint would have dried before you finished and was able to wipe it off.@@Groundeffected
Another great video, thanks so much for making these. I've learned how to paint from nothing because of your videos, can't wait to see what's next. Happy New Year Dad :)
You son of a birch! I've airbrushed white ink over black models for ages now, and I'm still getting dotting everywhere while you get butter smooth white finish 👿 Amusing and educative as always, keep rocking it ❤ BTW my smooth-white envy made me comment harder than the uuh-song. Such ugly people we viewers are 😅
I painted for 10h today! Want to guess how many parts i finished?? The Answer is 3... Also yes i fed up the edges of the white metal Armor this figurine has, like 4 times.
It's the random bit of ham sandwich that does it for me... I love Wonder Woman but the ham is the social commentary we needed.

This video inspired me to keep working on my model and finish painting it. Thank you

A amazing job and she looks amazing and a great work.
Thank you very much!
Great content as always man! Love the video!
Watching the catalog and commenting to support the video and the channel be well be you
What brushes do you use for the eyes etc? The very fine brushes.. I haven't been able to find anything fine enough locally 😢
Incredible paint!
Salut tu fais vraiment un superbe travail. Je te suis depuis peu mais j adore ton style et j ai un souci que tu peux sans doute résoudre quel or utilise tu stp?
what size/scale did you print her at ? and do you have a link to your shop to buy some of your paints etc?
Another fantastic model, wow it looks good. Thanks
This is absolutely class 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I noticed at 2:35 you pour the paint directly into your airbrush, is citadel paints pre-thinned? or is this just your preference of use that brand?
Ma se Kinnes, how'd you paint that Sarmie to look so damn real bro. 16:19, that's definitely the highlight of this one.
I think this one is one of your best to date! Thanks so much for the info!
Thank you dude
Hey bud, when your finished, do you give the whole model a coat of gloss, satin or matt clear?
Hi Dad, fantastic video like always please keep them up hope you had good christmas and enjoy New Year
Thank you. I hope you did too and keep it tame on new years hahaha 🤣
Still my favorite painter
Great work and great tips!!

Again amazing work
I never stop cringing when I see that camera covered in overspray
Haha don’t worry. Alcohol solves many problems
@@Groundeffectedof the drinking kind right? 😂
What are those metal stick things called that you use to hold your minis for priming and painting?
Alligator clips
I can totally relate to this video, I was constantly chipping paint off my work when wearing my rings and having to patch it up. Anyway, cheers for the content this year, hope you had a good Xmas and happy new year for Monday!!
For like the piece at 0:55 , how is it being held? Im not sure how to use alligator clips to hold pieces that only have a hole rather than a peg.
Shove it in the holes dude. It’s jammed bio against the side walls and the inner supports etc. or use a paint brush handle that is right in the holes too.
@Groundeffected I'll have to give it a shot, thanks for the reply :)

Glad you managed to overcome the mistake dude!! Here’s a new method for future just in case you need it
Can i commission this WW? Saw one on Ebay but I’m not sure is from you! Looks so EPIC!
I don’t sell on eBay and I’m not taking commissions at the moment. Some models may be going on sale soon but I’m not sure what. And I don’t think I’d sell them through eBay though.
how do you usually orient to head when 3d printing? usually have a difficult time placing supports for those so not to lose detail
Nose at like 30 degrees ish and I’ll settle for wherever the support have to go in the hair.
@@Groundeffected Thanks, is the nose facing towards the plate or away?

If you work at it won’t be long!! Stl maker link is in the description
fantastic, i've learned nothing but liked your Ehhhhhrrr beat x)
Really cool. 👍
Thats a seriously sexy model. You did the skin so realistic.
what brush do you use for the eyes in the video thanks
It’s a 002 cheap sable brush
Great job as always. Love this channel!
this is so cool, quick question though: can you get results of the printing model close to this with an fdm printer? Or do i have to get a resin printer and not even try with fdm?
You can. If you tune your printer well and use extremely low layer heights with a smaller nozzle. But resin would be better and way faster
Groundeffect what are those sticks that you use so that you don't hold the prints?
Alligator clips
@@dvnhrdy8236 thank you
Big fan of your videos. I must be hungry because I missed the final reveal. I was wondering what kind of sandwich you were eating.
When you gonna paint the CA3D He Man?
Do you sell these models unpainted and unassembled? Would love to buy some, build and paint them myself
Depending where you live it would be best to get prints from somewhere in your country cos shipping costs would be madness
