Hey Marek, can you please tell me how can I make a fan translation for Caesar 3? I see there is Czech and Greek one. I tried doing my own by editing c3.eng file but it bugs out, I assume due to length difference? Thank you.
Hey, there are potentially issues with length or specific characters that only some languages have. This can all be solved if you do it the proper way though, as far as i know. I dont do translations but you can join my discord here and ask the Augustus devs, they will tell you how to do it. discord.gg/HGT8Mk4Xvv
@@commissarmarek-main-channel I figured it out - I need the tool EngConverter from City building tools by bvschaik. But I can't translate the Augustus content as it is hardcoded into the game. I will need to do a separate build of the mod and either add code for a new language or edit an existing one in the translation folder.
The only thing not mentioned here is that, IIRC, the tile that matters as to whether or not your house merges or not is the upper left tile in a 2X2 space and the other tiles dont matter. But correct me if I'm wrong since I for one never play without all houses merge now
Ave Comissar! I wonder, how do you calculate the need for the population? When producing wheat for example? How many farms are needed to supply 100 population? How do you know how much the wheat produces? Yes, im a newcomer to Augustus-mod...
Hey, i think best is to watch this video. It goes over everything numbers wise a new player needs. ua-cam.com/video/flSAeTxMWME/v-deo.html Otherwise its 160 pop fed by a single farm. If its wheat on desert or central climate then its double so 320. But there is more to go into with food consumption if you watch that video. Usually calculating exactly how much you need is not necessary. Its better to overproduce a little bit at least.
Sorry for the end cinematic being too loud, i messed up the volume while editing.
3:55 this s wild! Thank you for the info
You can get a better picture of the mergers in discord in the files archive if you want. :)

When you get credit in the video: 😀
When the credit is for "No Life Basement Way": 😬
Haha, its unironically usefull on monster maps as said but i couldnt resist calling it out for taking so long to setup.

Hey, i will ask around. This is the last thing about mergers i dont really know.
The Devs told me, its like you thought with the tile in upper left being what determines if it will merge. Thanks i didnt know about this.
@@commissarmarek-main-channel I only knew about that because DDRJake mentioned it at times through his C3 VoDs
