A suggestion I have is anything from the anime My Hero Academia.
The mask of (I don't know whether he is a hero or a villain) the man with two hands covered his head (one on his mouth, and another on his back head) looks cool to me.

I did in my in-depth Pepakura Foam tutorial. This video also gives the basic concept as well.
You can use medical paper tape. It's available at the Dollar Tree.

This was an awesome guide thanks for posting. My only complaint is I thought it was a little unclear which parts needed a bevel cut, took me a hot minute to work that out. Otherwise great tutorial.
You needed to pay attention to the intro if you were new. You watch this: ua-cam.com/video/vRrfclFDiS0/v-deo.html and then apply what you learn to any foam Pepakura file. It’s always the same approach. No need to explain bevels if you watch that and learn how to locate angles and choose the right angled cut.

Where did you get the painting stands for your parts. Is this simply a dollar store find or something more specific?

8 ads? Yet, I still hardly make any money from these videos. Go figure. It gets hot with the gloves on but nothing crazy. The stands are paper towel roll holders from the dollar store with a styrofoam ball on it.

I appreciate that man. UA-cam has been really burying my videos as of late and don’t get shared much to recommended to allow it to go past the few subs that watch them when they’re published. Another factor is that people don’t really watch the building part and skip to the end. This 29min videos has a 6min watch duration average. So that hurts its reach as well.
Why do you always use floor wax instead of clearcoat? Is the floor wax flexible?

You just flip the template.
There’s also a “mirror” feature in Pepakura designer in the 2D menu that will flip all the pieces on the screen.

I would like to make at least the head. I always like that design.
Now all I got to do is flip the templates over for the right are and voila! No need for the gym for arm and shoulders day lol. You had me rolling at the whole Bob Ross thing lol. Loved the tutorial Stealth! I would love to see Falcon’s wings and maybe something spider-man related? Springtrap or some other FNAF character would be very cool too! Sadly I didn’t have enough time to make it but there is always next year! Definitely subscribing!

Ty for another great tutorial. I wanted to ask, when you curve a piece of foam, how do you get the angle just right every time? Do you ever have to reheat and re-bend it? It looks like you use the same size ball for each one and nail it every time, and I’d love to get there myself! Any tips would be welcome!
You just keep shaping it until you get it how you want it. It can form that way at times.

What thickness of foam did you use?
I think it was around 6mm (1/4”)

You can also use a sharpie or a black pen to highlight the recessed details.

That is so cool dude, you really did amazing with it, and I recently bought your templates for the Arkham Origin Deathstroke helmet and they are so amazing, thank you for putting this much time and effort into these things, I couldn’t find many other templates for it and when I did, they were really simple, crappy templates, I’m really stoked to start tracing them and putting it together, especially since it looks super accurate.

@@Heroesworkshop thanks! Yeah it’s been the one character I’ve been wanting to make for years other than the Doom Slayer, it’s my first big project and I am so happy I finally have access to pepakura to use your templates, do you have any tips or anything for the Deathstroke templates?
Use the scaling method I used in this tutorial for that armor. It’s a huge help for measuring each armor part.

Definitely want that mask, I remember I saw someone else make a mask, but his tutorial was super complicated with a lot of random materials, and it didn't even look at good as most of your works, so yeah! Mask pls! Lol

full body wraps or limbs like this arm seem complicated but the pieces were all pretty large and did not have a lot of complex cuts. much easier than I thought it would be. especially when compared to most helmets.
It’s not as difficult of a project as it looks. That’s why I said I’m sure anyone out there can make a better one than me with some patience vs my rush job to get the tutorial done. 😎👌🏼

Did you start out with a stl file? Do you have a tutorial for step by step unfolding the file and clearing out all the useless folds?
No. It didn’t start from an STL file. Those are way too high poly for Pepakura.
It was always a low poly model.

I made a foam soldier arm a few years back for a big event me and my friends did. Wasnt nearly as good as yours. I wish I had this back then. Wish I could post a pic here to show. Might do this one down the line... 🤔
So I was wondering if u have a video of the studio and tools you use? That paint gun you use i sell at my work and would be great to use but I don't have an air compressor to use it. But do you have something that kinda shows off all the tools you use in little detail
I’ll try to do something like that in the future. For now I have a list of the kinds of things I use in the description under cosplay supplies.

I couldn’t help but notice the Red Ranger helmet in your display case back there. Is that something else you’ve built? I’m a big MMPR fan. Would love to see a tutorial for one of those.
That Red Ranger helmet is an original stunt resin casting from the show. I will be making a power ranger helmet soon though. Just not sure which one. I’m thinking Green or White because I could follow up with their shield.
@@Heroesworkshop Ah I’m glad you’re gonna go with a Tommy Oliver helmet as he was my favourite, so much that I have a green/white ranger tattoo 😄. I’d say go with the Green as that’s the OG. Plus it’ll go with my dragon dagger 😁
