Just a thought on the worn out paint (It looks like you are using an acrylic paint). After watching Ed Edmund, from Distortions Unlimited, make his latex masks, he has a good paint mixture for them. He mixes 1 part mask latex, 1 part latex house paint (flat interior), and 1 part water. Since the paint is a latex base, it bonds to the latex part and it flexes a lot better than acrylic. You might give that a try =)
You will have better results painting with PAX, which is a mixture of ProsAide (or similar) adhesive and acrylic paint. It won't crack nearly as much at the joints. Old FX makeup trick, I use it all the time on prosthetics.
Beautiful work!! One question….mobility…can it be made with some or better mobility to it? You are by far the first person to actually show “how to” and not give a run around job. I’ve asked numerous people on how to do…no one was really fourth coming with giving or sharing answers but were more concern that can help me (meaning that I’d have to pay)🤦🏽♂️😂
great work! looks so good! i never thought of putting latex over the muscles. sadly i also needed fur over it so i cant do it the same as you but great video regardless.

That looks amazing! I had a huge problem trying to look up tutorials, but yours explains everything perfectly. Thank you so much. I don't know if you have time to reply, but do you think you could estimate how much latex you use for these arms? Thank you so much again
Hey brother. I'm from India . I desperately need your help.. Kind of a rescue.. Im soon going to get married.. And I'm very skinny.. I weigh 47 kgs.. I never looked good in any outfits.. At times it gets embarrassing.. People body shame me.. And make jokes.. I tried everything to gain weight but my metabolism doesn't let me go off too far.. Since I'm getting married.. I'll be wearing all those traditional outfits and i really believe your idea of muscle suits will save the day for me.. Please if you can help me anyhow.. Like the templates or a ready suit or anything so that i won't be a topic for the guests to gossip that what was wrong with the girl that she had to settle with a guy so skinny.
"I did this for my Doomslayer cosplay" dude I'm going to do this for a classic Doomguy costume so perfect 😂
Yo same!
I like how half of the people here are also doing a doomslayer cosplay XD
Dylan can you do one for a whole upper body
@@masonclark7004 unfortunately I never got around to it but if I do I'll certainly make a video going into detail!
I was trying to figure out how to make muscular arms for a Wolverine cosplay. This is exactly the sort of thing I was trying to find. Thanks!
Amazing tutorial! Simple effective diy craft!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Just the type of detailed video I've been needing with exactly the type of explanation and visuals I've been hoping for 👏🏾 thank you bro

With my latex prosthetics i add color to the liquid latex. This will extend the life of the finish of the piece.
man...the results you get on those arms...just incredible! Thanks for sharing
Good tutorial and your video and audio were clear.
Thank you!
I need.
Thanks for sharing your process. Fantastic work bro!
This is exactly what i was looking for with a hellboy cosplay. Thank you so much
One thing you should do is add latex to your paint. That way, the paint will flex with the costume.
I didn't add latex and all the paint, flacked off.
You just blown my mind 🤯👏
Extremely impressive🎨🏆💯!!! Thank you for sharing. You rock!!!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
@@omegashrinecosplay7081 More than liked it!! Gonna try to use to make "Savage Dragon" arms.
VERY HELPFUL!!! Thank you for sharing!
I've been wanting to do a muscle suit based cosplay for a long time and this is the insight I needed. thank you for your help!

Awesome video man! Any plans on making more tutorials?
Also, for painting latex you can get a better bond by mixing latex house paint with liquid latex
I never thought of using pantyhose for skinning. Brilliant.
Also, try Hex Flex paint from TNT Cosplay. That stuff is amazing. Doesn’t crack or flake off.
Super cool! Thanks for sharing:)
Do you cut the foam muscles at a bevel to help the edges stick down smoothly?
Damn that looks badass!!!

I would maybe use fabric paint 💪
Do you have a template we could go off of to attempt to make what you did here?

When you say the spray lasts well, dose that mean the foam will eventually stop sticking?
that's great
Remember me! 👀
Great work buddy 👍
if you don't have a mannequine, can you glue it while wearing the t-shirt?
If you don't have a mannequin, is it safe to glue the stuff on yourself?
Making myself some popeye arms
Hey what if i want to make a metal texture like colossus from x men ?
Next time mix latex and paint. They will become one and you won’t have any flaking. Other than that, great job!
Do you have a full tutorial on how to make a Spawn suit?
I am actually working on uploading a full suit video now.
Dude, thanks to you I saved $170
Great tutorial! Where do you get the muscle template? Do you sell it on Etsy? Do you have templates for a full muscle suit?
Thank you! I made the template myself. I plan on making new templates and selling them! That is actually the plan for my next video!
@@omegashrinecosplay7081 how much you charging i could use one
@@thadjooma2437 I'm not sure yet, but maybe $10 for the full body

Do I have to bevel the cuts when cutting out the foam or is it enough to just press around the edges to roll them out?
Video of green suit u show.....
How to make leg suit
💪💪💪😎👍👍👍
Any tips for scaling the doomslayer costume? My computer keeps on crashing whenever I try to scale more than just the torso at once.
Cosplay calipers are a big help! I also use netfabb to help measure and scale my 3d prints.
@@omegashrinecosplay7081 thanks! Did you just scale each part of the suit one piece at a time or multiple to keep proper proportions? Thanks
@@Tcustoms I scaled body sections at a time so that things were somewhat proportionate. If that makes sense.
@@omegashrinecosplay7081 yea that makes sense. Thanks for the tips
Muito bom!
Is this the same technique you used for your Guyver suit?
No, that was made using EVA foam
@@omegashrinecosplay7081 Oh! We going to get a video on that? Lol But seriously your Guyver suit is one of the best I have ever seen.
