I completed this tutorial and was so happy with the results!!!!! Your free patterns were such a big help!!! The hardest part was doing the panels and making sure they lined up correctly after tracing them, but it worked out! I really enjoyed this project and couldn’t have done it without out this video!
Tysm for this tutorial, my arm turned out AMAZING for my first cosplay and i wore it proudly to my very first convention last satureday 😍 We went to a free fotoshoot and the pictures turned out great! TYSM!!!!
Thanks so much for putting this together! It's a lot less intimidating, seeing it done in steps like this. The gladwrap and duct tape pattern is inspired! Eyeing up doing Loki as the Winter Soldier, so this is just what I needed.
This and you are absolutely incredible! Thank you so much for sharing not only the video with step by step but also the materials needed and the pattern! That is amazing, thanks alot!
Hello! Congratulations on your work. I'm going to do my Winter Soldier cosplay for the first time and I'm basing it a lot on your video. Just one question: what are the approximate measurements of each part of the shoulder and biceps? I'm having a little difficulty when measuring.
This worked really well for me, especially the bracer! However I’m struggling a little with getting the shoulder piece to actually sit on my shoulder/mould to the rounded shape, how do I get it to properly sit?
Loved the video! You did a really good job of walking through the whole process! So excited to see more!! (also, "noodle arms" made me burst out laughing 😂)
Hi! Thank you! Sorry that that part wasn't clearer haha. I actually do have all the patterns I used for free here though (ko-fi.com/post/The-Winter-Soldier-Update-3-The-Arm-G2G2FUW1A) so you can work off of those shapes when you are making this for yourself!
@@universeofemily Awesome, thank you so much! I was working on a Captain America shield for last Halloween as my first project and I couldn't get a seem just right. I tried this trick but I think I should have let it dry more.
Love how this turned out, but I have a question. How do you cut the Saran Wrap/duct tape mold off the arm without breaking the cosplay mold? That wasn't made entirely clear.
Thanks for your question! I just cut a slit down the arm to get myself free. You’ll be cutting the “mold” up into smaller pattern pieces anyways with the goal of getting shapes to lie flat!👍🏼
Hi, I’m trying to create the arm, but I don’t have much time and I can only get the primer blue. If I use the primer blue instead of black, it’s the same? thanks
Thank you! Sadly I do not- as shown in the video, i drew the design on to make sure everything would sit right, so the top foam layer is very specific to my own arm.
@universeofemily that's cool!!! I'll try my best 😁 I'm basically the same height and build as you so the arm base is so helpful! Is it to scale if it's printed at A4?
@courtneylewis2415 you got this!!🔥 and yes you can just print it in poster mode actual size in adobe and it should automatically come out on whatever paper that you have it set to. Theres a 1 inch hash on the page to make sure it came out the right size!
I have always wanted to look like the Winter soldier or atleast have the arm look. But I am no artist and would be guaranteed to mess it up if I tried lol.
This is amazing!!! You have such a way of explaining the steps that even with raging ADHD I can understand how it all works out 🫶🫶 question: is there an alternative to worbla, even if it may not be as high-quality?
The silver spandex was a really nice touch!
Thank you!! I think it worked out well with the final arm look!💖💖
@Universe of Emily I'm learning a lot of good stuff from you 😊❤️keep up with the good talent 💯😍❤️

god i wish i had the money and patience for this, ive wanted to cosplay bucky since 2019 and you did a great job with this tutorial it looks sick!!
This is absolutely incredible! The detail, the process and the way the paint looks like metal. You put a lot of effort and the end result is so cool!
Thank you so much !!💖💖

i love it! tanks for the tutorial, it was so much help

You can use a heat gun. It will soften the foam and after you form it how you want it will keep the shape as it cools :) best of luck!
You are sooo underrated oh my gosh 😍

😂😂😂 ITS TRUE! Haha, thank you SO much for watching!!💖
Great Job! As usual.
I appreciate it so much Jason!! Thanks for watching!
Awesome breakdown
I have a question where did you find the sheet with a foam texture Sparkling ,
I made a custom prosthetic arm for an OC based on this and it was so helpful!!! Can I DM you the results???
the only thing i wish we could see is how you drew on the tape, like how you drew the paterns :)) it looks really good tho!

At first it is very cool, I love it!!!!
Where did you find the whole arm lines that are on arm?
Very nice job! How long did you wait for the quickseal to dry before you added water and smoothed it?
Thank you!! It’ll depend on the temp and humidity of your place, but for me, it was the perfect consistency after about 2 minutes:)

Is there a way we could do it without sewing?
Wow. . .this is perfectly awsm,❤️🤜🏻🤛🏻
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What type of acrylic paint did you use for the red star
what did you use after EVA
Hi do you know how I can print the pattern in A4 format ?
Hi! Do you have a pattern for the top layer of foam with the cutouts/panels as well, or just the arm base? This is so cool!
Thank you! Sadly I do not- as shown in the video, i drew the design on to make sure everything would sit right, so the top foam layer is very specific to my own arm.

@@universeofemily amazing thank you!!!
okay but how do you make the mask? PLSSSS
Do you do commissions? Specifically for this arm.
awesomeeeeeeee
how do i get the right size on the template?
We’re you able to make this arm in one try????
How much does it overall cost to make?
I have always wanted to look like the Winter soldier or atleast have the arm look. But I am no artist and would be guaranteed to mess it up if I tried lol.
this is so cool! But where did you get the patterns for the small panels of the arm?
Thanks! And i just sketched them from a photo reference. I show the process in the video👍🏼
