I use regularly littlleeextra's rice berry sunscreen. It provides great protection for the skin. It also works on improving skin complexion. No acne and it also helps repair damaged skin. It provides excellent hydration. It gives a slight dewy finish. It doesn’t have a fragrance. The texture is great and blends smoothly. It settles beautifully on the skin. It’s available in a combo with the rice berry face moisturizer and face serum for the perfect skincare routine. It's great for achieving flawless skin. It won’t let you down.
I love, love, love LaRoche Posay's tinted SPF 50; I have mild rosacea and not only does it keep the UV from causing a flare, it subtly reduces the appearance of any redness while being lightweight and smooth. Thanks for the other recommendations, though; you never know when a product might be discontinued!
I have used the Elta sheer and tinted, Isdin tinted, drmtlgy, Perbelle, Obagi tinted and laRoche posay. I am under a dermatologist care for treatment for melasma. I completed a treatment regimen of Obagi NuDerm with the hydroquinone and have cycled off of the hydroquinone. My dark spots improved while on the hydroquinone. I am 58 and have used sunscreen all my life. Used SPF 50 during my pregnancies … my ethnicity is black and have a lighter skin tone. Since being on the Obagi I have definitely stepped up my sunscreen approach. I like all of the sunscreens I listed above but my favorites are Isdin and Elta. I am thankful for your content
I really like the ColorScience tinted mineral sunscreens in the liquid and powder brush for touch ups during the day. I love the MD SolarSciences Mineral BB Crème, it’s SPF 50 and lightweight. Both brands have tints in different shades.
I love the ISDIN SPF, I have the tinted and non-tinted, it goes well over my VIt C serum and is super lightweight, absorbs well. It also doesn't pill when I reapply it. I really appreciate that it's in a bigger bottle. For folks that say it's pricey, it is in a bigger bottle, and I usually wait for their 30% sale and get a few bottles. I'll use untinted Australian Gold or Hawaiian Tropic on my neck/ears. Speaking of affordable tinted SPF, Australian Gold has a good 50 SPF, water-resistant to 80 minutes, great for sports. If you want to avoid SPF damage on clothing (I haven't tried this yet), I heard you can spray cheap hairspray on the neckline of your Tshirts, that will create a barrier to help prevent staining.
Not a fan of Drmatology universal sunscreen. It’s very greasy and never really dried down completely. Hard to wear under makeup. Elta sunscreens work well under makeup.
In my opinion, the Drmtlgy products are NOT heavy. I highly recommend. Tint is minimal. Light, easily blendable.Great for aging skin. (I'm in my 70s). I add a dab of foundation for times I want coverage.
Avene Sunscreen is my favorite of all time. It's still harder to find a tinted sunscreen that works for us brown people. And it doesn't make me itchy. For whatever reason mineral sunscreen make me itchy.
Thank you dr , I’m using hyperpigmentation products. However, still struggling to find good tinted sunscreen is it ok to keep using my chemical ( SKIN 1004 Hyalu-CICA Water-fit Sun Serum) because of centella my skin feels cool please 🙏🏼 help ❤
I hope you can also comment on some sunscreens for darker skin tones. I appreciate all the information but I wonder if some of these may leave a white cast on some of us (brown or black skin)… I’ve been using the CeraVe tinted SPF 30 which is kind of thick, and I’m able to blend it in by applying face powder after it dries. However, I’m searching for a good SPF 50 or 60 that would blend well without a white cast.
Love the DRMtolgy. Both the physical and universal! I like the tint and formula better on the physical one. Soooo does all this mean that the Korean sunscreens r not sufficient to use for melisma? Great video. Thanks for all u do. Hugs from Tampa
On your stains try baking soda, let it set on there at least one hour or over night. Please put a cardboard under the area you are using the baking soda. This is a white shirt correct? You can mix it with a pinch of salt, but not necessary. Rug lightly. Shake off the baking soda after setting. Now use an oxiclean or borax. Let it set for an hour. Shake it off wash in the hottest water you can! I love laundry. Hope this helps your shirt. I enjoy your videos. I have to rewatch many parts to take notes. 🤘🏼
Baking soda is caustic, it can be handy in a pinch if you have literally no other options but you should not leave it on fabrics for any long period of time. The pH is way too high, you will damage your fabrics.
Thanks, Dr. Sugai! Any suggestions of tinted SPFs for much lighter and darker skin tones? It seems hard to find a tinted SPF if you do not have a medium skin tone.
Any of these tints light enough for the Skin Type I folks? I did great with Supergoop and Blue Lizzard last week in Hawaii, not a hint of color change in my skin but I like the idea of additional iron oxide benefits but some of the tints I’ve tried are borderline inappropriate if I try to wear them 😟 at $40+ I’m hesitant to go down the tinted path again.
I'm a type 2 with melasma. Belo tinted has a good color match for me (neutral fair) but needs a primer. You could look for Asian tone up sunscreens which have been too white/pink to match me but may match you
I'm using the Stream2Sea Mineral sunscreen spf 45 Tint. mainly cuz it's EWG verified. It's very moisturizing and adds a bit of tint which I'd prob get the no tint version next time. Thanks for your informative video.
I'm glad you talked about the Vicky one because I'm in Canada and I can't find how to get the famouse DRMTLGY one or any other popular Us brand sunscreen. So I had only La Roche Posay and Vichy to chose from, and La Roche Posay was too orange for me and the Vichy one seems closer to my skintone. I hope my sensitive skin will like it and that it'll look fine on my face! Thank you! Update: My eyes tear up when I apply it to my eyelids :( I don't know what to use on my eyes
Thank you for sharing this information. I just had some pre-cancer frozen off my face and lip and the ISDIN seems like a great solution. Definitely ordering some today! Sadly I'm going in for my third removal of melanoma from my legs. 😞 Wish they made a version for the body. If you have any recommendations for SPF for the body I would love to hear them.
The only affordable tinted (almost) fair enough for me is the Australian Gold (still looks like bronzer). I have to use regular and layer a bb cream type SPF product over (Purito or Numbuzin).
@@carmelopimentel7970 I think it is. It’s a little drying on my dry skin, but it dries down so well and lasts so long I deal with it. I’ve heard it’s great for oily skin. Currently wearing the DRMTLGY TINITED. Not really impressed by the universal tinted color. My face just stays shiny not glowing. I’m 62 maybe age makes a difference, I’m not sure. I really love the feeling of SuperGoop unseen.
I tried the Vichy sunscreen that your wife uses and I love it! I have rosacea and it feels so good on plus the tint is perfect for me. I live in Florida so sunscreen is a must and this one does not stink and it just feels so good in the face. It's expensive but worth it. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your channel 😁
I love the Vichy too. I love the serum consistency and it’s a perfect match for my skin. I don’t even use makeup. Just a floof of loose powder and I’m good to go!
Great video. Would appreciate if you also mention for future videos how ‘shiny/matte’ these sunscreens are. Eg Drmtlgy……kinda shiny 👎🏼. Keep up the hard work.

Anyway I watch videos but still dk what to do and what order. I have dry skin. Can I use Arginine and matrixal with vitamin C and A cream like Olay

If a sunscreen has 50SPF with both UVA and UVB protection, but the wording above the UVA/UVB sticker says High and not Broadspectrum, should I keep looking for better protection? Hi Doctor Kindly do review about Altruist Dermatologist Anti Redness and Pigmentation SPF50 Tinted Face Cream, as my wife is an asian got confused which best for her chemical or mineral sunscreen as she has sensitive skin as might worsen her melasma.
I prefer non tinted sunscreens because I'm not sure how to reapply with the tint without looking too orange over time (I have pale/fair skin). Do you have any recommendations? Are you supposed to reapply with the tinted?
Just discovered your videos. Great information and pleasant presentation style. I agree with your staff and love Elta MD under makeup and by itself in summer for my combo skin. Can you do a video on cleansers and moisturizers for very elderly skin? Another topic that would be really great to get ideas for good products would be rosacea.
Vanicream has some fantastic products for more mature/aging skin. The cleanser, moisturizer in the tube, and the tub have great ingredients and are gentle on the skin. Derm recommended as well.

I prefer non tinted sunscreens because I'm not sure how to reapply with the tint without looking too orange over time (I have pale/fair skin). Do you have any recommendations? Are you supposed to reapply with the tinted?
You should definitely reapply if you are outdoors or near windows, etc. Try using a refillable cushion compact. You can get them on Amazon.
Thank you Doctor, what is your opinion about sunscreen Australian Gold tinted?
Just discovered your videos. Great information and pleasant presentation style. I agree with your staff and love Elta MD under makeup and by itself in summer for my combo skin. Can you do a video on cleansers and moisturizers for very elderly skin? Another topic that would be really great to get ideas for good products would be rosacea.
Vanicream has some fantastic products for more mature/aging skin. The cleanser, moisturizer in the tube, and the tub have great ingredients and are gentle on the skin. Derm recommended as well.
Please review Shiseido face creams. I’m curious. 😃
This is just what I was looking for!🙏🏽🌞
I use clinique anti aging serum for face and under eye plus moisture surge. Do you recommend it?
CeraVe products are really good. Only this sun screen give’s a grey on the skin. Does they grey color stays on the skin?
Thanks, lots of choices.
İs it ok to add some concealer to your sunblock ? Would it work the same ?
do you ever ever come to nordstrom seattle or bellevue ? would luv luv to meet you; also from hawaii, wahiawa. currently working at nordstrom seattle and looking at your channel with the products you recommend. thank you for bringing your expertise to the pacific nw. 🌺
Thanks for sharing can you make a video about uv index and the sunscreen use like if it’s 1 in the afternoon can I use a lower spf ?
If there's only titanium dioxide, doesn't that mean you're not getting protection against UVA aging?
Nice to see you Doc🥰
Any thoughts on Supergoop mineral matte sunscreen?
I like that one!! Thicker side but very good
Sorry doctor, can those suncree be used dark skin like mine without leaving a while layer?
Dios le bendiga, encontré su canal hace poco tiempo y me encanta, podría traducir al español sus videos? Gracias por su respuesta.
Hy doctor Daniel, can you telk me if Altruist sun screm is ok ? Thank you.
Do you need to take off the sunscreen every night just like taking off makeup?
I have yet to find a tinted sunscreen that isn't dark on me. All the Elta MD ones and the Drmtology ones are so dark and orange :/. Maybe I'll try the Vichy, it looked a bit lighter.
Try Dr.Sam's and Paula's Choice Fair.
May I kindly ask which of the tinted sunscreens are the best for oily skin?
EltaMD uv clear or drmtlgy universal tinted!
@@danielsugaimd thank you very much ☺️
