After cleansing my face with the elf Halo Cleasing Balm. I’ve been applying a layer of the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum. With a layer of Cetaphil Deep Hydration Skin Restoring Water Gel. Followed by a Whipped Argan Oil Cream.
In the morning I rinse my face and apply my current SPF InisTree
Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel.
My skin is mature (73) but normal. I’ve been using this combo almost daily for the last few months and have seen a noticeable difference in the hyperpigmentation on my left cheek that was not only discolored but had a rough spot in it that’s now almost totally gone.
Just ordered the Neutrogena Tinted SPF as per your recommendation.

I use a lot of CeraVe products. The thing I would say about the vitamin C is that it smells rather strongly, so I use another brand. I use the pm moisturizer for everyday. The am w/ sunscreen is a no for me. I can "taste" it when putting it on. After watching a lot of videos I finally tried EltaMd UV elements SPF44w/tint. I didn't get that reaction, and I like the tint as I don't wear make-up. Sadly, they have changed the formula, so I searched online and purchased a few until I can find something else to take its' place.

Dr. Sugai what do you think about Dr.Denese Tinted day defense cream with spf 40? I’m 62 yrs old and have used it in the past. It’s great for any skin tone and give you a slight tint. Thank you and love your videos!!
I use Cerave Hydrating cleanser, night treatment (glycolic/lactic acid, Cerave night renewal or PM moisturizer. It’s great after Tretinoin. I use Tretinoin 6 nights a week and the Cerave lactic glycolic one night a week.

What moisturizer would you recommend to fix broken skin barrier around the mouth from using retinol and what is the recommended amount to use thr vitamin c, pea sized too?
I wanted to try the Cerave Vit C. I looked up the ingredients, and it contains alcohol denat..which I always avoid in products. What’s your opinion on this ingredient?

I've been using the AM, PM and re-surfacing retinol. I've noticed more frequent breakouts, small, but this is two years after completing Accutane. Is the Niacinamide in all of the products causing some type of purge? I've read that Cerave "reformulated' their products and it's made people break out more.

I have been loving the ceravae tinted mineral spf for face. I have used other products on snd off but now that im almost 40 im noticing pigmention and fine lines. Im also struggling with small bumps( i think like clogged pores) i also have very noticeable sebaceous filaments along my chin. I recently have thrown my skin into choas with trying all different products...right now i have the ceravae skin renewing night cream and I'm using some drunk elephant retinol but i want yo stick with one brand thats affordable....can you recommend something else i can use besidrs the renewing night cream

I use another brand for a tinted sunscreen because they make theirs in different shades that include those for light skin. That particular product is the ONLY sunscreen I can use around my eyes without miserably irritating them. I'm one of those freaks with that rare condition called normal skin at almost 70; I had oily skin until well into my 60s plus if I eat too much fat I can feel my skin greasing up. Check out what Target has in their line of a popular brand that started out aimed at those for sensitive skin.

I’m on spirnolactone for hormonal acne . I finally cleared up . Then I added cerave sunscreen and my entire face broke out all over . Worse than it was to start off . What do I need to do to heal this and why did it cause this?

In EU Cerave products are not so cheap. And their line is much more limited: no vitamic C, no "purple" eye cream and "purple" retinol, no night cream...😢

Cerave products are not in Manila drugstores. You have to order them on line. Like Lazada or Shopee. So sad.
The only thing I don’t like about cerave is that as far as I know they’re not cruelty free.
For this reason alone I stopped using them, shame as their pm moisturiser was literally perfect for me.
I am a 52/o woman. I don’t drink or smoke & try to take care of my skin as much as possible. My skin type is sensitive at times, but more on the normal side. Oily in extreme heat (Texas)
What would you recommend for black heads? And a good routine for myself. I do have 1 noticeably large pore, could possibly be an acne scar. What skin care routine would you recommend ?

I would definitely consider a salicylic acid cleaner for blackheads and for oily skin in the Texas heat! Retinoid creams can help with pores and scars!

I have tried a couple of tinted sunscreens, and they make my face look so oily...I do not have oily skin.
The foam cleaner is better for cleaning and removing makeup and dirt.
Is the Cerave mineral sunscreen greasy? I have combination skin and more oily in the summer months.
The non tinted sunscreens are not greasy but have a pretty significant white cast. The tinted one though is def not greasy! Hope this helps 🤙
CeraVe has good products. I wanted to purchase the hylaron acid but after seeing this video it doesn’t look like a good product for me. Can the CeraVe pm and am lotion also be used for my teenage daughter?

I use that tinted sunscreen, and at night i use the hydrating cleanser to remove it, but there's still some tint left after that. Is there a better way to do it or is that cleanser not enough to remove their tinted sunscreen?
Hi! I would use the hydrating cream to foam cleanser and if that fails, maybe consider double cleansing with an oil based cleanser and then the CeraVe cleanser

Hi! I couldn’t agree more. I use this entire routine with a few different things and my dry, 51 year old skin has never looked better.
CeraVe cream to foam cleaner is fantastic, followed by the Vit C and then their hyaluronic acid and I use Vanicreams daily moisturizer. I prefer it over the Cerave night moisturizer. I use an all mineral sunscreen as well. For night, I too, prefer the Cerave retinol with licorice root, topped off with the hyaluronic acid and a heavier cream. My night cream is by Cerave called skin renewing night cream and a pump of the encapsulated oil called skin renewing gel oil. That combo is magic and for the first time ever my skin in the morning feels supple. This routine is easy, affective and affordable. Healthy skin doesn’t have to break the bank nor consist of 20 steps. Good luck on your journey.
One of foaming cleaners of Cerave has propylparaben which is toxic.
Vit. C: Over hyped? What does the research reflect?
I swear I would eat cardboard and sew my own bras if I could find a tinted SPF that matched my skin. I'm a very fair natural redhead with pale pinkish skin. And I do mean very fair. All the tinted SPF looks orange on me.

That’s interesting I never heard of that being an issue for people. I actually break out super easily from products in my skin, and Cera Ve is the only product that helps me to keep my skin clear

Ceramedx is supposedly the cruelty free version of CeraVe but they don't have as many products. CeraVe may not test in the U.S. but depending on where else in the world they sell, animal testing may be done.
Maybe try not flailing the products about so much? Makes it a bit hard to capture as well as , holy moly, dizzy from the roller coaster ride 😵💫
