I had the oportunity to talk with him in a show in Chile, and he explained to me that he always imagine fighting with his drumkit while he is playing live. Thats the reason of his face. A battle between him and the drum. Awesome simple style. Killer

Why two triggers on kick drum?
Because some kicks don't trigger or a module can go down. It's a back up basically. If one gets unplugged or breaks down the show goes on. Most big bands do it. You can also layer a clicky sound with a boomy sound that way.

@@klausherbert3040 well that would be blend between a regular mic and a trigger..which is explain one trigger. But not the other. Someone said back up which I guess it could be.

@@opiedrums6969 Backup. You feed it to another module just in case it goes down. Also sometimes the kicks don't trigger every time based on one sensor. So if you have two there the other can pick up the missed trigger so you always have a beat

Man, why did Adrian become so lazy to play? It seems that Paradise Lost is the destroyer of other bands. The vocalist went to Bloodbath and now they are real shit. Adrian also went to Paradise Lost and it seems that the pace of At The Gates is too fast.

Adrian's style has always been super straightforward with ATG. Listen to Slaughter Of The Soul. His playing has not changed.
