As a drummer i want to tell you one thing: this is what really matters in drumming, he plays exactly what song needs and don't drop unnecessary fills :) Still one of my favourites :)
Exactly! I saw a cover of this song that was extremely impressive, but the drummer threw in way too many fills, many of which were completely unnecessary. Technically impressive, but much to the detriment of the listening experience.
I think it's just nice for the poor fuckin' drummer of any band just to get a bit of UA-cam action. We're ALWAYS watching the front men but these hard-working bastards are keeping it all together at the rear. Respect and about bloody time!!!

Crazy there are youtube drummers playing the Fleshgod cover twice as quick and hitting harder and tighter. This guy should probably retire it looks too hard for him.
