I love how he hits the drums and cymbals, not too soft, not too agressive. You don't find many rock or metal drummers to play like this, and I think it's the right way to do it.
Kerry king is a dickhead for saying Swedish drummers are soft hitters they generally do way more than any slayer drummer who also evolved drumming from what it was back then
Oh wow, I never realized how close you legs where when you play double bass. I'm so use to having mine spread a bit apart. I should try this, and see if ill lose balance lol

Such a good drummer, I met him in north Carolina and asked about his drumming technic, a really down to earth chill dude(they all were really)but I am a drummer 😎👌 saw them twice for the wages of sin tour and doomsday machine and they were awesome and tight, Angela's voice was just so raw and heavy 😎🤘❤️🔥👏
Ive always been a fan of your kits, Daniel. Pearl makes the best racks. I personally have always played yamaha drum kits but I use the square rack system of pearl. Once you set your toms and cymbals they never slip or move because of the square shape. I originally use to play with the gribaltar tubular racks and I was constantly readjusting or tightening my toms during shows because they would keep slipping on the circular tube. I bought a pearl icon series rack and have never gone back to the tubular racks of gribaltar and tama. The only thing I dislike about Pearl is the tube shaped tom holder arms that hold your toms on the bass drum or rack in your case. I like the hook shaped tom holders like you find with yamaha or tama.

Love it so damn much and it’s interesting to have some behinde the scene from you great kit and great sound ☺️
An interesting touch is the closed reso drumhead on the kick drums, while from back, we can see a port underneath the front drumhead.
We have a Kelly Shu mounting system in both kicks, the cable for the mic goes through a hole in the side of the shell.
