    • @jrr8828
      @jrr8828 6 місяців тому +17

      No, she said she couldn't lift more than 10 pounds because she has a bad shoulder. She was trying to explain to him that she physically couldn't do it. Then, he took her words and manipulated them, saying yeah, so you cut her up cause he could lift her easy. I'm not all the way through it yet, but I feel bad for her. I have watched a few of these, and every time there's a crazy man, there's also a scared woman that's after he will do the same to her. And I have a sibling that was married to a man who would do horrible things then gaslight her and make her feel like she's crazy. And he would nake it look like my sibling was the one who lied about it. She's probably going to prison and she probably did know he killed her. And he probably made her dk all his dirty work.

      The detective was pushing hard on Katrina--threatening her with a potential murder charge--and the woman was apparently so pathetically desperate to support her loser/killer man that she held on for hours, pretending she didn't know what happened. What a weird person she is. Some women are so lonely and insecure that they'll get involved with the worst men on the planet. The guy is washing dishes and basically using any woman foolish enough to associate with him---starting with Katrina---yet she seems to to think that if she hangs on long enough, endures the humiliations long enough, they're going to be a happy couple. Uh, no. Not with that guy. You're better off staying home and reading good books.

      The guys reaction to being told her helped chop a body up tells me all I need to know. Katrina was used and abused by him, she was jailed from her kids and job which, for someone weak minded like her, is torture. She made bullshit up instead of telling the truth because the detective didn't want the truth, he wanted a fable. A fable he got, and in doing so he may have got his guy but he also caught two innocent people up.
      This is garbage. It's good the murderer was caught, but detective work isn't dragnet. You need to be precise in your actions and he was not, at all. Nor did he do any detective work. He's lazy. He's not smart. He's not funny. He's an ass.

      I picked up the trait of making jokes during frighful times from my Irish elders. I know that a lot of others do it as well. My Grandpa would attribute this to the fact that if we didn't, things can be unbearable. I've heard that dark humor is in our DNA. My Grandmother said it relieves tension. All true but its situational and not meant to be done at the expense of others. I think the detective did it to appear more like just a person than someone to fear. And it seemed to work. He reminded me of many of the detectives I've seen in Canadian interoggations.

    The cop said this is about a woman that was banging your boyfriend. She says I just work and take care of my kids. Yet she had them in another woman’s home with blood throughout it and a ax or knife or whatever at the entrance in the wall. And she clearly moved the kids and herself in soon as she got with him. Mother of the year right there. These people are sick. You wanna be a horrible person why drag your kids down with you.

      Sadly so many “parents” are awful people and don’t care about their children. And they always seem to have multiples. I was blessed with one amazing father and cursed with one horrific “mother.” I can’t imagine what life I might have had if I had both horrific parents. Bad parents make sad kids who grow up to be bad parents and the cycle continues, sadly. Many break it, many don’t.

    If I learned anything from true crime UA-cam, is that you need to get an attorney RIGHT AWAY and never speak to the police without one. It's amazing how the very presence of an advocate shifts the mood in the room. No pressure tactics, no abuse, all civil. Even if the attorney just sits there with his arms on a belly, like a giant frog.

    What really got these people caught was their procrastination, they left literal blood on the walls probably saying every day "I'll clean it tomorrow", "Oh, and I have a body in a freezer, better dump that somewhere soon", but they kept putting it off.
    They really could have gotten away with it if they weren't so damn lazy. They killed her in February, the cops don't knock on their door until July, they had SO long to clean up their mess, most killers would pray they get that much time to destroy evidence.

    This detective is so likeable! He has incredible ability to converse with the suspect on their level using plainly spoken but articulate arguments to compel a direct response. He's in that interrogation room for one purpose, to obtain truthful evidence. Everything he says draws them closer to information he wants. Even his occasional laughs are engaging, appropriate and heighten the need for the suspect's to think harder before offering up bull-shit or worse even, no response.
