Can we just take a second , to give those parents a medal?? 🎉🎉🎉. As soon as she talked about hurting the kids they didn’t allow her contact and kept the kids with them. We always say someone should have helped and they did!! Thank god for those babies and hopefully they can be helped from this trauma ❤❤

For real, when it's this obvious that their actions made a huge difference, they SHOULD get a medal! The more positive attention we give to the good guys, the more motivated we all become to BE the good guys! I used to work with women coming out of prison, if they got attention for their volunteer work, it sped up their desire to be seen as positive helping people in the community after their release. It works on all of us!

Did they contact the authorities as well? I guess I wasn't paying too close of attention, due to work, but that would've been the VERY FIRST thing I did. Talking about harming children absolutely warrants contacting law enforcement.

Thank you for telling a more accurate portrayal of her crimes. I have known Rex and Amanda my whole life (before Rex ever met her). The story is tragic, he was using drugs when we were 12. Amanda was a user and a liar and stole from and hurt everyone in her path, hence her apology for her mom. I warned people, but not one listened. I am so tired of people saying she did it for her husband- but in reality they split months prior to his death and she refused to let him see or speak with his children. Also, big mistake: image was Allen, his grandpa, not Charlie.

@djkinetic2020 No offence but you don't know what Hell is like. 'IF' it exists the only ones who do know are dead. I'm an Atheist and don't believe in such things as Heaven or Hell. There 'existence' is used by organised religion to control people. You can find Heaven or Hell in life. If there is such a thing as life after death i believe it's more likely that we'll exist as sentient energy without a form. Akin to sci-fi films where minds are downloaded into cyberspace. That 'may' be possible one day but after death it's more likely that we exist as sentient energy that can explore time and space. It's either that or eternal nothingness. But nobody knows!!

@@LilyAmongThorns hell is a Christian fairytale that was copied over from other religions to integrate them better, like they copied many other things. Even if you're a Christian, it's still a fairytale, it's not even mentioned in the Bible, except some later translations when it was more ingrained in the culture. And those translations describe "dark underground places" and "fire", the whole "separation from God" idea is very recent and has even less basis, it's just a popular new talking point for the Church.

About 2 years or so, I started working as a CO for the first time and didn’t know what I was getting into. The first time on the inside of the prison, being led around like a lost puppy by our Sgt, a woman wearing a pink shirt, pants and pink shoes came walking through the middle of the group. When she got a good distance away, our Sgt looked at us and said “yall know who the selfie killer is?” Most of us said “no” and she told us to look her up when we got home….. i will always remember her daunting state as she stared me in my face as she walked by.

This is really what makes me so critical of people who downplay stuff like mental healthcare, and with this toxic social stigma of seeking treatment that is still so common. The only way I believe this murder could have been prevented is quality mental healthcare. For that to happen, a capable and prevalent mental care presence needs to exist everywhere, and people need to stop thinking that seeking treatment, entering a program, asking for help, having a therapist, etc makes one a failure or less than everyone else. If you're having a heart attack, nobody is going to think you're weird or be afraid of you or w/e for going to the hospital. The same should be said about people with personality disorders or other mental issues, but it often isn't.

Receiving in- or outpatient treatment for mental illness isn’t indicative of a bad, violent, or otherwise dangerous person. The vast majority of dangerous and violent individuals have never sought treatment for their issues and most people who do seek treatment have never been violent or a danger to anyone other than themselves.

There was a time when EWU was making content that was met with mixed reactions from the corner of UA-cam watching niche true crime/-adjacent channels. And the internet being the internet, I remember seeing both hate comments about the video’s format, content, or script writing and, occasionally, actually helpful suggestions. Rather than be discouraged, which I know I would have been, the EWU team just came back better and better each time. I remember when I would only click on an EWU video if I’d already reached the bottom of whatever true crime rabbit hole I’d fallen down. Now, I’m subscribed to multiple of their channels, get notifications, watch all of their videos, see a new video notification and click IMMEDIATELY. Kudos, EWU team. Thank you for your incredible content, even then, and especially now.

After recently watching an EWU video I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the new, straightforward format, comprehensive coverage indicating in-depth coverage. It seems rather than get upset they used the feedback and criticism they received in order to improve their channel. Kudos

Her and her husband use to come into a video rental store I worked at and they would rent movies weekly. I remember them being very social and nice. I always thought it was wild how the husband had a tattoo of Ted Bundy as well as John Wayne gacy and maybe one other serial killer. We definitely had conversations about it and he lit up when he talked about them… always found that to be odd but he was a very polite guy as was she anytime they came in.. just goes to show you really don’t know the evil that is all around us everyday.

My fiancé was murdered on May 2nd 2020 and the case was originally handled by dirty detectives working with his murderer. The detectives were caught but evidence had been destroyed and now they’ll never get her for any degree of murder. If she shows up to her court date, she may be charged with telecommunications fraud. Hopefully if she’s convicted of that, they can go for “a death was caused while committing a felony” and she could be charged with manslaughter.
EWU creators, if this case is ever solved, I’d be so curious how the murderer and her accomplice would act in an interrogation. I’d be shocked just to see her sober..
But honestly, I have no positive expectations.

So then minutes later she blubbers out a story about Rex beating up a blonde lady and she doesn't know if anything happened to her or not. But I can see how some people like the narrator might think that she has killed before and is lying. She is too stupid to have killed before and gotten away with it for any significant amount of time.

I'm surprised at how many murderers take plea deals to take the death penalty off the table. I would take the death penalty over a life in prison is long as it was done quickly and I didn't have to wait on death row for 30 years. I guess it's hard to tell unless it was really on the line.
