    Such great advice!. Thanks Lana. I finally found a sheet pan with a rack that fits my small air fry oven. Its 9"x7.5". Found it on amazon as well as a 9" round pizza stone for small personal pizzas, calzones and Cubanos. ;) By the way, I love your apron and I gotta believe MR Lana has a matching Babaloo Ricky one?? :)

      Hi Richard! Thanks for the kind words. Those sound like great accessories. I have a pizza stone for it as well but I haven't used it. I would love to know what you think of it and how well it works. Gs. lad you like my apron. My mom sent me 2 Lucy ones from her travels. My husband and I adore I Love Lucy, it's one of our favorites.

      @@LanaUnderPressure I ran a batch of pizza dough in the bread machine last night and rolled out 8 pieces to 8.5 inch rounds. I'm going to work out a procedure for using the pizza stone in the small air fryer oven. I have found that cooking at a lower temp (maybe 350f) after an initial stone 400f preheat might work better. Keeping it at 400f for the whole bake doesn't seem to work well with the cheese. I'll let you know more as I work thru my crusts using different times and bake temps.
      OK I spent the day baking and eating pizzas :) Here's my recipe. I don't have any other way to get it to you, so I'm posting it here. Hope that's ok.
      Recipe and Procedure
      : Using a pizza stone for small, fresh crust pizza in an Air Fryer Oven.
      Ingredients:
      1 - 6 ounce Fresh Dough Crust rolled out to 8 inches
      Fruity Olive Oil, Mist or Brushed On
      2 Tablespoons - Jar Pasta Sauce
      - Or your own recipe.
      3 Ounces - Shredded Cheese
      Basil Shreds & Grated Parmesan for Garnish
      Equipment:
      Air Fryer Oven
      Pizza Stone sized to the oven
      Total Prep & Cook Time:
      30 minutes
      Instructions:
      1. Preheat the pizza stone on an inverted upper rack at 400F for 15 minutes.
      2. Dock the dough with a fork to make small holes throughout the surface.
      3. Place the dough on the preheated stone and blind bake at 400F for 5 minutes on the upper rack.
      4. Mist, or brush the crust with olive oil, flip the crust over and replace it back onto the stone.
      5. Top the uncooked side with the sauce and the cheese.
      6. Bake the pizza at 325F for 10 minutes on the inverted lower rack.
      7. Remove from the stone to a cutting board, mist or brush the edges of the crust with olive oil, garnish with basil shreds, grated parmesan & slice.

      @@LanaUnderPressure Thank you for your information packed videos! Really appreciate all the work you put into your videos. I finally received mine from Amazon yesterday. I opted for the Omni Plus. I'm kinda a bit confused about the crumb tray on the new appliance though. This one has a rather flimsy and wobbly crumb tray. I'm new to Air-fryer Toaster ovens. I've used regular convection ovens before and never had a crumb tray that can be removed from the outside. So, I'm a bit concerned about the wobbly crumb tray on the Omni Plus I received. Is this supposed to be normal? 🤔 Or would the tiny gap caused by the wobbly tray release the heat inside the oven and result in unevenly cooked food? Please help! 😥😕

    Lana can you please do an Omni Plus dehydrating video for us

    • @LanaUnderPressure
      @LanaUnderPressure  4 роки тому

      Hi. It's on my list of things to do. I don't really like dehydrated food, so I really haven't made anything other than jerky (Cuabn and Terriyaki flavored). I'll be doing a video soon since everyone has asked. I also have a lot of Basil and herbs so I am working on that too. The problem is it takes so long to dehydrate so I have to put at least 2 -3 days just for one recipe. But I will get to it, I promise. :)

    A question about the Omni Plus. I just got mine over the holidays, and I noticed that the Convection button on the oven's panel changes the fan speed from High to Low. The manuals that came with the Omni Plus don't talk about when to use High or Low when cooking. Any thoughts on when you should use each fan speed, if there's certain foods that benefit from a High or Low fan speed??

    • @LanaUnderPressure
      @LanaUnderPressure  3 роки тому

      That's a great question. If I'm cooking food that I want to "air fry" or mimic frying in oil, I always use Hi. The only time I use Lo is when I'm baking and I don't want the food to over brown on top before the middle is done. In those instances I use Lo but I also will block the fan halfway through by using the black tray on the highest level.

    • @LanaUnderPressure
      @LanaUnderPressure  4 роки тому

      Hi. I just did a new video on positioning the racks and trays. You can place the black drip tray however, I usually don't use the modes like Bake and Roast (in the Omni Plus) that use the bottom elements when cooking things that drip. What are you cooking?

      @@LanaUnderPressure since all the functions use top and bottom elements except air fry , does that mean we can’t put the well aluminum foil unless it is air fry mode ? I think you said in newer models the roast function uses lower elements too ? So does that mean if I use the rotisserie function I can only use AF and the fan cannot be turned to low ?

    Do you use the drip tray in dehydrate mode?

    • @LanaUnderPressure
      @LanaUnderPressure  3 роки тому +1

      Hi. You certainly can. I think of the drip tray more like a false bottom that condenses the oven by making it smaller. This way the food cooks or dehydrates faster. Just make sure you have enough room between the tray and the food to get good air flow all around.

    I really appreciate these videos because the manual that comes with the Omni Plus is really awful - and even their website manual hardly give any more help. I have one question: I wanted to broil a couple of burgers but have never used the broil function. In an ordinary oven, we need to leave the oven door open a bit. Is that true of the Omni plus as well,? Or do we just leave the door closed as with the other functions?

    • @LanaUnderPressure
      @LanaUnderPressure  4 роки тому +2

      I am so glad my videos can be of help to you and thank you so much for watching them. You don't have to keep the door open on the broiler function. I suggest though that you use the Air Fry function at 375 for 10 - 16 minutes flipping when it syas. Place in the middle directly on the rack and put the black tray on bottom level or foil covering the bottom.
