I have had the product for a few months now, and it is super simple to use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB I have perfected steak and chicken which is mainly what I have cooked in it. I do not use any oil at all, and the food comes out tasty every time. No issues, easy to use, easy to clean. I bought an accessory kit with extra things for it, and having a small metal rack in it definitely shows a little wear in the coating from sliding around a little. The coating could have been a little thicker. I have been pretty cautious with it, but its inevitable I suppose when you put something metal (cosori product) in it. Highly recommended product!
Wow...salivating. Heading out to find a 4 lb. prime rib! Thank you so much. Love my Vortex Plus Air Fryer. I live in Canada and there was no way we would be able to get out hands on one until next year, I am sure. So, my lovely daughter who lives in Seattle picked one up at Walmart and drove it up to me for my birthday. What a great gal!
a good trick is to make a burgundy and soy marinade, soak a good chunk of prime rib in it , and then grill it like a steak. you can cook it to well done, and it is tender, because it is basically a slow roasted chunk of ribeye that you then grill. enjoy!
Wow mouth watering ....thank you for the video .I just got my vortex today wheeee....😄I test rial it I find it a little loud compared to my previous air fryer other than that I think my vortex is 👍
@@TheDrunkenButcher I did from scratch burger patties...yes a little loud the airfyer mode.I will try your recipe soon...😁 I give credits to guys that cook just simple not complicated with ingredients but gets the flavor out of the cooking👍👍just like my dad...be watching your other cooking vids thank you
Nice video. Wife and I have been considering getting one of these. Your video might be the turning point. That prime rib looked great! Thanks for posting. Suggest trying some chicken for the next video. Maybe some bacon wrapped thighs???
Wait... the Vortex OMNI is out and starting to show up in stores. Just pick one up yesterday and putting it through its paces. Keep an eye out for our OMNI videos coming soon! We will use both the Vortex and OMNI but just keep your options open. 👊🇺🇲🥃
Hi there. Thanks a lot for the interesting and nice presentation on your channel. Just subscribed. Need to ask something.. Do you think is it possible to bake a 7-8 lb Ham or Pork Shoulder in this appliance? Thanks in advance.
You absolutely could, time and temp will be completely different plus I would highly recommend not doing that big of chunk on the spit, it will break it. Stick to about a 4-5lb chunk unless you want to do it on the tray and rotate every so often. Hope that helps!
You could look at "Lana under Pressure" 's videos on You Tube. She does a wonderful Cuban pork shoulder in the Vortex Plus...she also uses the Omni and the Instant Pot.
I just bought a Vortex Pro, upgrading from a small Humpty Dumpty shaped air fryer. I liked the concept, but it wasn't getting it done. Anyway, I'm still in the Vortex learning curve so I'm glad I found your video. Looks like you put the meat in prior to preheating. Am I correct?
I just got the 6 quart instapot air fryer it says it can cook a 4lbs pound chicken I really want to do a prime rib for Christmas in it I hope it turns out good
That wasn’t over done lol I mean yeah not the cool you wanted but it wasn’t well done lol. Im going to try this and eat it all myself cuz wife and kids won’t eat anything that isn’t well well done lol
Bro! That rib looked Good! I liked and subd. just on your courtesy of giving the option to screenshot the recipe instead hunting for it that consideration alone is worth my time to sub & like more channels should take heed.
Whoa, my apologies! I second guessed myself and had to go back and look at the video, that is the victorinox 10" butcher knife. My bad I spaced that one Rod!
Thank You for making these videos with the Vortex for us all!!! 💗

It was preheated, I just edited that part out. Every now and again I'll toss stuff in without preheating and it turns out just fine though.
@@TheDrunkenButcher Good to know. Thanks!
Why would you add the radish?
Looks great
I like the diff. colors on your mustache and beard. The roast looks perfect to me, just how you made it.
Just bought this today at Walmart excited to try it tommorow
How is it working out for you?
I just bought mines today and it never came with a manual 😒
I am trying the whole chicken recipe right now. Got the ribeye roast on deck in the freezer.
Hey I’m planning to buy this one but just wondering how it’s holding up for ya after these 2 years. Do you recommend?
We have had ours for a year and some change, gets used several days a week. Still going strong!
I just got the 6 quart instapot air fryer it says it can cook a 4lbs pound chicken I really want to do a prime rib for Christmas in it I hope it turns out good
Omg it looks so moist and tender.
Oh so moist, tender, and delicious! That SPG2 does something miraculous.
110 degrees is fine to pull it out.
I was thinking beer, but prime rib works 🍺🍺
7 down votes really wanted to see Rotisserie Cauliflower. Nice video BTW
Thanks for watching!
Do tofu next

I bet he is handsome young man without that old man beard.
you make me hungry
way CRUEL! i am so hungry! P.S. free range children was funny earlier FYI! great video!
I want the fatty piece at the end of the slab.
Fuckin 💰💰💰💰.
All the money!
How about a roast beef next time? Maybe a pork roast.
We bought a 5.38 lb. Prime rib roast. If we cut the bones off, would that work in the Vortex? Thank you.
Potentially if the weight you trim off brings it down to about 4lbs
If you go past your target temp, you skip the foil.
Looked good, I had just ordered me that air fryer. Can't wait to try it out. What kind of carving knife is that?
It's a victorinox 6" fillet knife
Whoa, my apologies! I second guessed myself and had to go back and look at the video, that is the victorinox 10" butcher knife. My bad I spaced that one Rod!
Yeah, I thought it was longer than 6". Anyway, I appreciate your quick reply. Have a good Thanksgiving. Look forward for more videos.
I was actually thinking you were gonna give the vortex to me. hahaha 😂
I know that opened up your sinuses lol.
29 vegetarians didn't like this.
Bro, I was with you until you dipped the dirty knife back in to the horseradish jar…
Come on now…
Drueling
I do the same every time I just see the thumbnail!
