Coming from someone who has lived all over this nation, Maryville is quite possibly one of the best places in the US to live…. Unfortunately the secret is out, houses are being bought above asking with CASH, many times from out of state buyers who never even set foot on the property. It’s completely understandable, I live here and feel like I won the lottery. Good Luck!
Let's hope they leave their politics (the reason they left their homes to begin with) in the state they left. We do not want Cali and ny style politics here, we want it to remain a great place that is on the side of God.
While vacationing at Cades Cove, our daughter fell and had a concushion and facial damage. We spent 5 days at Blount Mem. Hos. They treated us like we were their family. We felt loved. Our daughter is now grown up but We still have a very wonderful feeling about your town. The people in Tn are the greatest.
Thank you for the video! Moving to Maryville next week after purchasing a home sight unseen. It remains a very competitive real estate market despite rising interest rates.
Moving there in 30 days from West Palm Beach. I have visited a few times and growing up in Georgia, I love this little town! I will miss the beach life but the draw of the mountains is ever so calling!! The cold up there will definitely be an adjustment but my Shepsky will love it!! Already secured a good job and looking forward to exploring!!
You forgot about telling people about Smokey Mountain Harley-Davidson in Maryville and the music venues they put on in “The Shed” and what about the motorcycle destination “Tail of the Dragon” in Deal’s Gap?!?
I am a local, that stumbled upon your video, and I was curious how you were going to pronounce it lol, I've met transplants that pronounce it wrong and even though I correct them they still refuse to say it the correct way LOL.
As a native now living in a big city you defiantly paint a picture that even make me want to move back. To be fair, murville today is much different than it was 15yrs+ ago.
Hi Avi, getting ready to move there and I would love for you to be my tour guide for the weekend. You have so much information that is needed. Are you available
We can def get you set up with one of my peers! I don’t have a license. The cool thing is all our team is super knowledgeable and pretty fun going too 😉
Don't move to Maryville, Alcoa or anywhere in Blount County. We are so full I hate to go anywhere! Lenoir City and Loudon County are taking the overflow and getting just as bad.
I sooo want to relocate to Maryville from Texas! It's everything we are looking for. Thanks for the awesome video! Question - I don't want to hear jets flying overhead like in a flight path, you mentioned close to Knoxville airport....Is this the case living in Maryville? If so, deal killer for me.
I am a pilot as well, so I am at TYS all the time. You can hear planes in Alcoa, not so much in Maryville. This is a common misconception. Airlines are required to fly a certain distance over populated areas and airlines fly “IFR” which means they have specific flight paths. Also they climb at such a high rate that only the S/D close by will get “a lot” of noise.
Great video. “Marevul”haha thanks for the tip! I may be moving very close to there for a new job, so this is my first stop into checking out close by areas. I have no clue where to look first so thanks for all the info. Very helpful.

Hi, thanks for a great video. We have visited Maryville few times and love it 😊 Do you think you can make a video of West Knoxville as well near the Farragut schools and what do you think of that area. My family is thinking of moving to either town in the near future. In Maryville we saw a new community, the Foothills but it does not have Maryville Schools. Thanks
@@randyjordan5521 thanks Randy😀Honesty there is no good place to live anymore, the traffic is horrendous everywhere you go and the small towns that we all loved all over the USA are becoming very populated with all the people moving from state to state. @@annaechevarria3804 You can move to Knoxville, but that doesn't mean you have to live in high traffic areas. There are a lot of surrounding communities you can live in that aren't so busy.
