I could listen to that adorable accent for 10 more reviews! ☺ Well done.
Byron B. She sounds like dexter in dexters laboratory
I'm familiar with this accent. She's definitely Filipino.
Yeah, knew another girl with a similar though less thick accent.
She is a Filipino... ;)
@@emsvideoarchives9978 Filipina or Pinay
@@omar1s1 Filipina. Haha. Thanks for the correction! My mistake.
Same here
good review.. the little details it had makes it better the other reviews iv seen so far.. thumbs up!
Thanks for the review. I am soooo close to buying this monitor. It is down to $1099 on Amazon now. BTW you have a really good TV reporter style inflection to your English.
Cool! :) Don't forget to use my Amazon link on the description. :) Thanks!
Adam R I've seen it too I'm close to buy it lol, if you already got it let me know how is it. I'm worried about all that backlight bleeding rumor and glow...
I decided against it. I am sure it is dope though.
Adam R may I ask why you opt out? It's a big investment I know...
adrian m just got mine today for 1099
I like how you've got you know your stuff - other reviews have this monitor at 100hz without mentioning overclocking
Finally picked up this monitor and writing this comment on it now. It is absolutely amazing! Glad I picked it up
welp NCix had them so I picked one up
can never go wrong 1080p monitor, so i'm sticking to that until another resolution becomes a standard. which all depends on how powerfull consoles are, which means, gonna have to wait up to 20 years since consoles barely do 1080p now
More Product Review Videos Please!!! first time ko makapanood ng review na tulad nito...hosted by a filipina...sana in TagLish for our Full Filipino Pride..para sa pinoy...maayos at maganda pagkakadeliver...More success to this channel po and more videos to make...idol!!!
I am always amazed with your video. It is short but very informative and by that I mean everything I need to know about the product. Thank you for doing such great review
+4FUTUR3 : Thank you for the continued support. ;)
I love how you say monitor
moniitorr!! :D
*lol*
Hardware manufacturers need to come out with a monitor that can be used for both cable television and daily computing, for example some people have a single display with multiple outputs, one that goes to the PC (display port) and one that goes to the cable box (hdmi), it would be nice to have something that does 100hz, 4k, and has a remote handy instead of having to go to the back of the monitor to change between inputs.
that monitor is MASSIVE!
Oh wow, blue light filtering. That's nice.
Hi how is the monitor now? and I want to confirm how do you feel after playing or watching 8hrs nonstop?
build in speaker?? thats awesome! you play with headset all the time but you need some speakers for rarely times.. this is genius
Love this video, you have explained everything so clearly, thank you so much 🙏☺️
cool, that G-sync will help when the frame is distorting.. I wonder which one shorter in bezel's size, is it LG 24mp88hm-s or this monitor
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released series online?
Nice review! I will get this Moni-Thor soon.
I liked and subbed, that "monitor" pronounciation won me over.
monitow
Moni-Thor, son of Odin! :D
Just bought one ! Keep that in mind . .
Thank you for your great review! im getting this monitor
After 2 years still no pricedrop. I won't buy Online due to all those bad reviews about 80% have problems with backlight bleeding -.-
Now..how to get one of these....=)
as usual, top notch editing...=) keep it up Lor..
I just got mine today and I wish the screen went right up to the edge and not that black border that surrounds it. Otherwise I couldn't be happier with it.
Mas comfortable siguro kung itong Monitor ang gamit ko sa mga CAD drawings ko, maraming Vports ang pede ilagay.. kaliwat kanan na vports ... pero Very Expensive but its all Worth it naman.. Meron na ba nito dito sa Pinas Miss Lorelyn? or sa labas pa lang ba talaga?
i believe i'm falling in love with this monitor.
Dota 2 supports 21:9 natively now as of the most recent patch, you should update your video at 3:15
hummmmm , $1,419.99 at Amazon right now,,,wonder price went up instead down
Nice monitor I just purchased $1299.99 + tax&warrant =$1600 it's worth the price. they have it on Micro Center in my area 10+ on stock.
Great review. Now I just need to save up for it. What speakers are you using? I didn't see that information displayed in the overview.
great review! subbed
Gotta say this was a really well done review! Earned yourself a subscriber!
Man, I'm really not sure if I want to drop $1,250 on this monitor because I was originally gonna get the LG 34UC87C which costs $660 now and still looks great though it's a 60Hz monitor. However, the ASUS PG348Q looks nothing short of amazing and the higher refresh is a nice bonus. I just can't figure out if it's worth nearly double the cost of the LG monitor. If anyone wants to leave their thoughts I'd appreciate it.
I replied to @shane bieda with this;
"Its the same screen used on each. Acer an Asus both get their screen from the same company, so neither is necessarily better or worse than the other. I have the Acer rn and I can say that the only real difference are the monitor controls and the aesthetics of the physical monitor from the Asus. Note, that because both companies use the same monitor for their products, any issues with one brand's product is likely to be the same with the other (ie, screen defects, bleeding, coil whine, etc). Both companies have had their slew of issue with these problems on their monitors.
If you want my advice; both monitors have issues rn. If you want a 34 in, wait until after Christmas b/c more will be released. If you want a 'perfect' monitor with no issues (screen defects, bleeding, etc.), stick with a traditional 16:9 monitor. the ultrawides are just too new and still have some kinks to be worked out."
Regarding the Acer vs the Asus. As to if it is worth $1K+... that's up to your financial situation. But tbh, the gaming experience has to be seen to be believed. Watching a video and listening to someone else's opinion just won't cut it. It would be like reviewing the color blue to a blind man. My recommendation; go to a Microcenter and try it out for yourself; it is the only way to really know.
LorelynF said " If you have a question please don't hesitate to ask." There had been a lot of questions asked already, but never did we see a reply from her.....bummer : (
+Dondi DB : Been out of town lately. :) No worries though, because most of their questions are already answered in the description, video and by other people's comment.
G-Sync add input lag so you pay it two time kind of, go FreeSync and Radeon.
+Gamahamel FreeSync has its pros and cons, so does G-Sync, I prefer G-Sync IMO
Do you work or is sponsored by ASUS? Would be nice to disclaim that if it is the case.
Btw, it is a nice video and a just got this monitor and I really like it, as you said the only problem is the lack of proper resolution/aspect ratio support on some games.
amazing review !
Why in the world is this monitor not available for sale in the NY Region
I have quite a hard choice at the moment between this monitor and Acer x34. They have all the same functions. I'm going to buy one of them, but I'm still thinking which to take. If someone has experience or had use one of them pls give an answer which is better and why. thanks.
I haven't tried the Acer x34, if you could check some reviews about it and compare it to the ROG, that would help you decide.
enjoying my rog pg348q watching this video :) aweosme monitor by far! i came from a swift pg278q :)
Had the same problem. But I had decided to get the Asus swift. Asus has the impression of product quality and you can never go wrong with them. Also, most of the parts of my Pc is Asus product so why the hell not stick to 1 brand.
Thank you for your comments guys.
The Acer Predator had serious problems when it first shipped. Bleed, half the screen being very dark, and the monitor fallling asleep for no reason. I do like the design better on the Acer but the Asus as far as I know has not had any of those issues! so go with the Asus
any one else feeling the trishna takinawa from family guy
*Tricia Takanawa, yes.
(googles it)
***** lool
I think you should have tested the built in speaker. So that we the audience have an idea of what it sounds like.
doesnt matter.. because first u wont be able to hear the actual quality 100% because u are not there and she is using average mic.. second who dafaq would buy a $1300 and use built in speaker anyways? i bet my $60 2.1 speaker would sound 10x better.. just my two cent
+XgenZeepee : That first answer is pretty much accurate why I didn't demo the speakers. :)
its a $1300 Monitor with Speaker, so it must be good. How can we know its good or not
+XgenZeepee We're all assuming that if you're loading that much money into a monitor, you also have some half decent audio equipment.
(Y)
This monitor makes Lorelyn look even smaller by contrast.
38" or would be a 34" enough? to play games watch movies and maybe work with double windows next to each one?
You doing design work on this, does the curve distort any of the lines or anything of the like? I hear a lot that a curve is bad for production work because of that reason, which is putting me on the fence of getting this since I draw a lot as well.
Nice one lorelynf you go girl..
I cannot believe I have to spend all this money and not get thunderbolt connection. LG had thunderbolt but only Freesync and 60hz on a 3440*1440 monitor. Why this companies cannot give you everything you need for the amount of money they want you to pay?
I saw u were still recording at 3:27am.. very hard working indeed.. get some rest girl
+elitehero34 : Sleep for teh weeaakk~
Great video as always xD, and congratulations to you as well, very beautiful ..., could you tell me the name of the song in the video?
I guess the question for me will I notice the Hz difference coming from 144Hz monitor?
Um, sRGB is getting a bit old, what's the Adobe RGB and Rec. 2020 coverage?
There's a bunch of other possible color spaces too, but those two are the ones that's the most relevant for most PC users (with the exception of some people involved in making television and stuff)
And will they launch a freesync version?
Excellent review..
I'd rather get the Predator Z35, I know it's only 2560x1080p, but 1080p still looks beautiful, it's 200Hz, but you would need both to have HIGH end CARDS, at least 980ti SLI to be able to display these at these Htz and resolution. but with you the Predator Z35 you can clock to 144hz and probably be ok with one card. oh and the Predator Z35 will look slightly bigger due to less resolution, and with my eyes playing Bf4 would be easier to see things a little larger
This is the beast LED
+Sargent Marshal (Sh3Ro) this isn't LED LCD based, it's an IPS panel.
Hi Lorelyn! nice video,
just got the same but I think the price in UAE is much more expensive when i compare them. Any tips how much is GT51 in Ph?
What is your opinion on curved vs non-curved computer monitors? Does it make a noticeable difference when using it for work/gaming?
+robertlovesgothgirlz : It's a bit weird at first especially in Editing, but you'll get use to it. :)
***** I didn't think it made any difference when I saw TVs have them at the store. I was wondering if it a good option because I have a corner 3 part desk where the monitor sits right in the middle. ***** OK thank you, I look forward to more of your tech reviews. Will you ever review a potatoes on your channel? I keep hearing good things about them :P
Asus says on their website that this monitor is Edge-to-Edge... its clearly not what a bunch of scammers
instock at the end of April while supplies last....
Where can we buy this monitor. I can't find it for sale anywhere where it is in stock
+Ethos www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C83BE6U/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B01C83BE6U&linkCode=as2&tag=postmonitors-20&linkId=4XDMKPDAK2NTQLY7
+Ethos it's on amazon for pre order but iv'e heard people say it won't be in for a few more weeks.
+Ethos : Try Amazon & NewEgg :)

More than one DP would have been nice.
Hi lorelyn,
Great Video!!
I need an advice please ,,, I have a high end gaming PC.. i7 6700k and EVGA Superclocked gtx 1080.
Am so confused on whether to get (ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q 34-inch) or (ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27-Inch).
Is it really important the Refresh Rate ? or Should I go for the resolution?
I mainly play RPG Games such the witches 3 and FPS,, not too much multiplayer games.
Please advice ...
Thank you!
sobrang ganda mo ate
It makes sense on dota.otherwise you would have extra advantage compared to normal players
Mabuhay!
Can you mount this monitor?
So cute when she say "Moniitoor" :D
So i'm on the fence about buying this monitor because of the 5ms response time i'f been using a 1ms monitor for quite a few years now would the downgrade in response time really be noticeable ?
What song name please :(
LorelynF thx for the review :)
Angas naman nyan Ate.
I love it! I want a monitaur! :D
Seems worth it.
A $2000 CAD monitor made for gamers? :o I don't remember gamers being rich XD nice review...
How would you get ultra-wide support through HDMI, That is reserved to the Display Port?
Is there any noticeable back light bleed compared to the Acer X34 and Acer XR341CK?
you said fps instead of hertz ^^ nvm good review but a bit short and the music was too loud ^^
Yaman, monitor palang 75k na eh paano pa ung buong unit?
i hope you'll review thr PG279Q. 😊
So this this any good for us who make games aswell? (I may make games but my knowledge of computers is abysmal seriously)
Can someone help me find one like this. An ultra wide. it doesnt have to be freesync.
Can I reach 100Hz (OC) with a single GTX 1080 on Asus ROG PG348Q with ''very high'' or maximum details/resolution ?
For example, how many FPS can I reach playing with GTA V REDUX with high ''details'' ?
PS How much distant I have to stay from the monitor to watch it well?
Table depth? 80cm, it's enough (considering its base obviously)
Really on the fence about buying this monitor, been waiting years for this combined spec but there's a lot of negative information out there about the level of quality checking done by Asus and the panel manufacturer AU Optronics. seen loads of comments about backlight bleed, IPS glow, 100hz not working etc. did you get any of these problems? did you tell whoever you bought it from that you were a UA-cam reviewer (in case they've hand picked a problem free monitor)
£1000 is a lot of money to drop on a monitor that could have so many issues.
+Mid Life Gamer : No problem so far. :) If you could get a chance to visit any ASUS Event that would feature the PG348 that would be a great chance to test it personally. :) BTW my old monitor is ASUS MX279, been using it 2 years not without any issue that you mentioned.
+LorelynF : Tech Reviews and Potato
Thanks for the reply, not sure visiting an Asus event would help, they wouldn't put a model with issues on display. It's not the design I'm concerned about, looks great. its the chances of getting a panel with problems in concerned about.so far from what I've seen that's just been speculation so I probably will get one. I'm using the Asus MX279H Now, I had to RMA the first unit I got but the new one they sent me has been great.
+Mid Life Gamer I think it's a lot of speculation about the quality checks after a lot of people had major issues with the Acer X34 Predator (which uses the same display panel apparently)
When is this coming out!?!?!?
Buying ASAP to bad I don't have enough room and enough money.
Also is this the same thing as the ASUS 34" PG348Q Ultra-Wide G-SYNC Monitor just named differently if they are not the same thing which one is better?
3:42 The Characters from Inside Out are watching Marvel's Avengers.
+Ninten70 : They're loving the monitor! :)
+Ninten70 Marvel's Avengers Age of Ultron
Does it handle picture in picture technology like the Dell ultrasharp?
Thank you for this, but do you know of any monitors that are ultrawide, has g-sync and supports picture by picture? Since this one does not and neither does the Acer Predator.
What headphones are you using?
I'm going to get the ROG Swift 34 inch in 3 weeks when i get paid, i was going to get something smaller and save money for other things but my brother said if i get it he'll give me his 970 so that way i can have 2 gtx 970s in SLI to maybe run the monitor . and he'll play his ps4 while we save up for a new graphics card for him.
SO my main question is will the 970 in SLI be able to run a 34 inch 3440 x 1440p ultrawide at 100hz. my second question is ive never used SLI before so i was wondering if a gtx 970 Strix and a the gtx970 white reference card will work together. Also when i built my pc i was planning on learning to overclock, (which i still havnt done yet) but it is overclock ready. and third question is what is the smallest power supply to run 2 970s without being paranoid my computer will blow up. i think i have a 650w gold for my one 970 right now( i have the s340 case and im to lazy to open it up and see what i forsure have). oh and 4th question is it a bad idea to have 2 970s in the s340 case? i dont have watercooling just and aftermartket aircooler for my cpu. and 2 fans in the front of my case.
TL;DR
4 questions:
1.will the 970 in SLI be able to run a 34 inch 3440 x 1440p ultrawide at 100hz
2.will a 970 strix and a 970 reference card work together in SLI
3.what is the smallest power supply to run 2 970s without being paranoid my computer will blow up
4.bad idea to have 2 970s in the s340 case with no watercooling
best moni-thor indeed
I can't get the foot logo to turn on, the settings don't make change, any ideas?
Thank you for review. I would like to know some stuff before giving this much money.
1. If we play games that don't support 21:9 aspect ratio, what happens? I know we get black bars but how is the resolution, do we get 2560x1440 in that case (as if we were playing on 27” 2560x1440) because there is no mention in documentation of this monitor that it supports that resolution? That would mean that we get stretched 1920x1080, right?
2. If games don’t support 21:9 does Gsync still works?
If the game don't support 21:9 aspect ratio, you'll get an stretched 2560 x 1440 resolution, and yes, GSync will still work. :)
Thanks Lorelynf. Can we avoid stretching and choose to put black bars instead? Also, if game supports 21:9 but our graphic card is not so strong, can we choose to use 2560x1440 resolution to get more fps?
yes it does support Gsync i bought this monitor and it is EPIC the curve is so beautifull
you can change the aspect ratio to the normal aspect ratio in game settings
+Klajdi Brashka thanks
Can you run that monitor at 1080 with lets say 120 or 144 hz refresh rate? I know it's locked to 100hz at 1440 but what about lowering the resolution accordingly to 1080 and setting higher then that 100hz refresh rate. Is that possible with that monitor?
I love how she says 'monitor' :D
is this monitor better than
Asus 27" LED G-Sync Rog Swift PG27AQ
3840x2160 IPS, 4ms, 1000:1
OR
Asus 27" LED G-Sync Rog Swift PG279Q
2560x1440 IPS, 165hz, 4ms
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
???????????????????????ANSWER FAST???????????????????????????????????
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O.o WTF! That's freakin' wide!
Keyboard brand and model used in the video
I know that you cannot take advantage of gsync if you're using an AMD gpu, but can you still attain 100fps despite of that? That price tag though.
+Kit Leoncio I think so. Overclocking this baby is done through the monitor itself. Unless nVidia is being a bitch again.
+Kit Leoncio : Yes, but still, you won't be able to use G-Sync. :)
were to plug the graphic card on to LG 34UC98 34" monitor ????????????????????????????????????
Are curved monitors fine with photo editing?
