Great video! Question, you made the trees using the free sapling addon? because i want to make trees like those, just that using planes because i need them for games
PLS HELP ME....i have tried bending the tree using simple deform bt the thing is the leaves doesnt bend along with it...ive tried parenting the leaves to the branches by clicking leaves then holding shift, click the branch then ctrl P n chose objeck..now if i rotate or move the branch, the leaves does move along with it bt doesnt move when i use a simple deform..what am i doing wrong
@@twanoligschlaeger i did join them bt then the texture of the bark n branch changes..see i made a branch seperately by my own then added a .png image of leave in form of mesh, went back to my branch, weight painted area where i want the leaves to be, hair particles, chose hair object to be the mesh (.png image) and thus leaves were formed..made the instance real, joined all the seperated leaves first then i tried to join the 'combined leaves' with the branch bt it seems the branch is also converting into the .png mesh and looses texture and shape

Hello, I want to do an effect like this but with hair, and Im searching for a way to apply the keyframes to all od them at once, because I can copy the modifier but the keyframes wont copy. Does anybody have a solution? There are like 800 hairs so its not an option to do it one by one
When I click on "Graph Editor", I can't select any objects in my scene, I though "Oh well, it's propably slected", so I went to add a Noise Modifier, and it doesn't show anything called "Modifiers" in a tab. I opened a new Blender File and they all have the same mistake. It's weird because it has worked a thousand times before :(

Thats really good but i think trees of different sizes move differently so is there some way to randomize the animations of each tree ?
Nice tut! How to bake them into keyframes?
The keyframe of the simple deform modifier has a noise modifier that always gives the same result, therefore you dont have to bake the animation👍

are the leaves and the tree the same object? in my scene they were. You can combine objects together by selecting them and pressing Ctrl J

my graph editor is empty
just click on the tree..make sure ure on object mode...

Yep, that sounds like Blender...randomly screwing up in unpredictable ways.
dude I have the same but it is because you dont add the keyframe like he did haha
