I just ordered my alesis strike pro SE from zzounds yesterday and they’ll be here Friday afternoon!! It’s my dream drum kit but you’d think being their top of the line flagship drum kit and the fact it’s got a damn near $3,000 price tag you could order them in ANY color you wanted!! I’m the same way brother I absolutely despise the color red!!!! I just ordered a roll of royal blue sparkle wrap from your other video with the green sparkle wrap

Sounds and looks great! Your hi hats seem to actually work, mine barely work hitting the edge, only consistent hitting the bow, did you modify or change the actual triggers inside, ive tried everything as far as settings, flipped the black cap on the spring, added a felt, loosened the tension nut, set bow and edge to same voice, thinking maybe a bad pieIi or connection inside?
I can’t really remember what I did. But i think I added some poly tubing to shorten the spring travel. But I don’t think that will help with the problem you are having
Hey I just bought this kit. Does the kick drum buzz when you hit it? I tightened the heads but it didn’t seem to help. I don’t want to over crank so I’m asking around.

Today is also a good day, about three months ago the module bass sound went out, and Alesis just shipped me a new unit before the warranty ran out. So I got it back yesterday, I've been chomping at the bit to get after it again.

Hey man great cover! Side question…do you recall how the bass drum trigger was configured when you had the batter head off? I was having some issues with mine and couldn’t exactly figure out how the two plastic pieces (I assume it comes with them under the plastic piece) was set in there. Any advice?

Oh Thank You for showing me High Hat and Snare Drum should be on the right side i been playing for years with it all on the left side . LOL Just kidding i have them all on the left :). but i have a comfort problem, With me using a ludwig High Hat stand, i still can not feel comfortable at all with the position it is in, My foot too close to me, and the left rack preventing me from pushing high hat forward a bit without the Rack stand almost falling over. All other comfort zones are just fine for me.

I think I’m the video I was using a bunch of drone battery straps . Since then I’ve 3D printed a bunch of clips and holders. And cut the harness apart and changed the wires around so they are almost the perfect length for each pad
Record your drumless track to your module play the recording and drum over top of it. You can equalize you can change all the volumes. You can do everything right from the module and it literally records perfect. then when it’s done, simply export the track to your garage band or whatever you want to use to upload it with and you’re done.
Yeah it’s not very common and it sucks living that life.. no many companies offer left footed pedals and setting in for other drummers is a nightmare 🤷♂️ I started out back in the day playing a right hand drum set till I seen I left set up and changed over. I regret that now

As did mine. Quick fix? Go old school acoustic drums and stuff a pillow in there. Works great!
