If you wear callous glow ring you can completely mitigate the Cambions deflection damage because it will be calculated based on the 2 damage from the ring, not from the smites.
The Deva Mace (d6 + 7 + 4d8 radiant) does more damage than the SSOTAP, and there are lots of builds that leverage on radiant damage. Its a nice alternate option for non-gith players. Anyway, great job. 😊
Silver Sword + 1d4 psychid damage ring + potential 1d4 illithid power results in pretty decent psychid damage output. If you carry around the psyhic resonator from the illithid colony, everyone around you gets vulnerability to psychic damage and disadvantage on mental saving throws. All that negated by the Silver Sword. 1d6+1/2d4 damage for free just by carrying around the thing.
Silver Sword, imho, is so badass. Yes, there are other nice weapons out there but for me, imho, probably and arguably one of the best two handed weapon in the game especially in the hands of a Gith. Besides the weapon having nice damage output, the Soulbreaker ability is just crazy good, though you can only use it once per short rest, but in my experiences, the stun effect happens a lot.
Yep, it's also one of my favorite two handers, especially because you can get it as early as in act 1. Taking the the Resonance Stone with me would actually have been very good for this fight. Getting psychic vulnerability on the cambions and even further increasing my damage output. But I forgot to take it with me, as is my way. 🙃
Baldurian's Giantslayer is badass too. Best however is the Deva Mace, which is D6 + 1 + 4d8 radiant ... and you can 1H it with a shield. All of my followers have one.
'Zeearie', eh? I see you, another NWN2 enjoyer. ;) But honestly, well done! I am mentally prepping myself for a BG3 solo tactician run, too, but won't be doing any paladin shenanigans though, I want something more... stealthy. ;)

My man came to a video titled in English, to an almost entirely English comment section, and decided that asking question in ruzzian is the best course of action to get an answer to said question.
To put it simple, you do buff stacking before you enter combat with him, this way you can use all your action points to do dmg once in combat. Other than that you want to use the blood elixir and the speed potion (or haste spell) at the time, which essentially more than doubles your attacks, because both action points you get from the blood elixir and the speed potion will trigger the extra attack ability from your martial class.
great video, im currently doing my first solo tactician run and still deciding between paladin and fighter, but i wanted to ask what your second feat was and how you got to 24 strength
Ability Improvement for +2 STR, Hag Hair +1 STR, Potion of Everlasting Strength + 2 STR and Mirror of Loss +2 STR. I put the entire build in the description if you want to check anything.
Of course, just use a different melee weapon. Races in BG3 are rather insignificant anyway. You can play any build with any race and you will barely notice any difference in their power.
Appreciate the response. I know it wouldn’t be as effective as a human, but with the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane being my favorite weapon in the game, do you think as a human using the sword along with everything else in the vid it would still be effective just not nearly as good?
Because after lvl 6, Paladin doesn't have any upgrades that would significantly increase your strength in any way. With 6 levels of the Sorcerer class your Paladin will get a lot of utility spells, for example shield and magic missile. But more importantly the 6 Sorcerer level will give you more and higher spell slots for smite.
Paladins are "half-casters" which means the paladin levels contribute 50% to the character's overall spellcaster level. The spellcaster level determines the spell slots you get (but note that it does not change what spells you can automatically learn on level-ups; so, confusingly, it is possible to have level 3 spell slots but no level 3 spells learned).
@@henningg.1687 so paladin slots are stacking with sorcerer slots or something? Will it work with paladin + wizard 6/6 (for a death knight)? I'm used to how pf2e does multiclassing, so can't quite understand wtf is happening in 5e.
