@kinggoat- I've had my QcK heavy since 2016. I didn't do much on it for 3 of those years but I've definitely used it HEAVILY for 4 years. I've spilled water and coffee on it. It's washed out easily, ZERO fraying, and just overall feels comfortable. I'm only looking at mouse pads because I need a second mouse pad and am interested in testing out something newer.
I really like the Razer Gigantus v2 and I'm really enjoying the new Hyperx Pulsefire mat, both are really balanced, easy to clean and reliable. I've had many other brands with problems of inconsistency, humidity and fraying. But those two aren't like that!
I got the gigantus V2 medium size. It's pretty great for control and I play on very high sens (aprox 7cm 360, 3200dpi) but I'm looking for something maybe a little faster. But so far it's been great it's also very affordable. It doesn't have the stitching but for this price it feels great. But one thing I've noticed and also heard form others is that it's smoother horizontal than veritical. Which is actually really nice for aiming. But I also heard that this is random or that it depends on the size. That the larger sizes are faster veritcal instead of horizontal which is what makes me not want to buy a bigger version and why I'm looking for something else instead
@Amferro2 Hey do you know what is the difference between Hyperx Pulsefire mat and Hyperx Fury S? Now I have Fury S with me and seems like they discontinued the product, is Pulsefire any similar to Fury S? Thanks
Funny and informative as always One thing I'd add that I've been experiencing myself is to consider the weight of your mouse For a month I've been using a 70g XM1r on Aqua Control 2 mousepad and it felt perfect on the brand new parts but way too slow where I was using it the most - developed a very slow spot(still not sure what happened there, almost no one seems to agree that that's a thing, but I know what I felt) I changed to a 48g mouse lately and all of a sudden that same mousepad which seemed to have too much friction before feels perfect(tbh 48g is too light for "precision" games like csgo, with a low sens at least)

Only recently have mice become better than a 3.0. I'm talking very recently. I have yet to find a better surface than a steelseries qck. It's the perfect all around surface. I really want to like newer pads, but they all have major flaws. You can make them work for you, sure... but imo, a qck is STILL what most people should be using.
I like the g-sr-se. Perfect pad. There isn’t that weird locked in feeling from other pads. When you start moving your mouse or are gliding, it’s always the exact same amount of friction. Great stopping power, easy glide.
I play all sorts of games, so I needed a mousepad that can keep up with slow paced tactical shooters and fast paced shooters. Being a low sense player with light mice, I find mousepads are difficult to shop for as most pads are either too fast, or too slow, and worse, I have sweaty hands and I live in a humid country. Steelseries QcK tends to have issues rather quickly and even after cleaning them, they just dont feel the same. So I went on to try the Coolermaster MP510, which was the perfect mousepad due to its cordura fabric. I can easily flick and stop whenever I wish. However my cats one day decided to scratch it all up and I couldn't find the Coolermaster MP510 ever again as it was discontinued. I went on to buy the Razer Strider, and everyone laughed their head off that I spent that much on a desk pad. However I find this particular mousepad from Razer to be the absolute GOAT. It glides fast, and it stops whenever I want it to. I went on to the forums and asked if people liked it as much as I did and to my surprise, everyone said it was a clone of a Artisan Hein, which is also a mousepad that caught my eye but was unable to justify spending that much on a Artisan for shipping, and the people that had it sold it for extremely exorbitant prices as they were the only people that have it in stock.

My flicks and tracking in OW have never felt this good, after I adjusted my sense accordingly(had it higher when I was using the Saturn prior to this) and it's like I'm cheating 😂, exaggeration I know but still. Back in the days I used to swear by the QCK pads, the only issue has always been their durability. They wear out so fast they're basically obsolete the month you bought them. I always felt like silicone pads were super underappreciated. They're thin, stiff enough to expose the tables issues and in my experience have been super consistent and durable. SteelSeries Dex was the best mousepad I ever used, but the small size has been a dealbreaker. The Gigabyte AMP500 has also been a viable bigger and more affordable option. I'm eager to give the pulsar Superglide a try, but I had terrible experiences with other hard pads in the past where they have been sanding down my mices ptfe skates in no time. I'm uncertain if textured glass is any better for skates durability than the other hard-surface pads we had in the past.
Hey I've recently gotten the skypad 2.0, a friend recommended it to me and I really thought it'd be what I was looking for but it was far from my expectations. The glide gets very slow and inconsistent overtime because of the PTFE dust & it's been sanding down the skates even with moderate pressure on the mouse. Definitely do not recommend getting a glass pad if youre looking for consistency. My mpc450 with glass skates were the perfect combination for speed & consistency at least in my experience. I did hear that these aluminosilicate glass skates slow down & ruin the pad overtime though

I'm just puttin' this out there. I've been using squares of microfiber from old couch backrest cushions for the last 5 years and I wouldn't go back to a mousepad for anything. The mouse glides over it and the cursor reaches one side of the screen to the other in just over an inch of mouse movement. There is no slipping as the mouse won't even move if you tap it on the side but the microfiber still acts as a glideable, (not a word?) smooth surface. Not exactly sure what's coming into play in that regard but I swear by it. It does get matted after quite awhile but I just cut a new square from the cushion casing I kept. This came about when I started using my wireless mouse on my couch and noticed that it was 100% better than the mousepad I was using. Needless to say I ended up with a dark grimy patch on my couch but I needed a new one anyway so when I replaced it, I kept the cases from the backrest cushions. I swear to god, if you ever have the opportunity to use a piece of furniture microfiber, do it. I came to this video because I was having issues with my mouse but now that I see that hovering over the screen while watching this video, there's nothing wrong so probably the crappy unoptimized early access game I'm playing or the bottom of the mouse itself. What would you recommend for me. I play CS2 daily and i currently use the Qck Heavy but i dont like the quality. Should i get the Artisan Zero FX Soft, Vaxee PA of Zowie G-SR-SE Gris?
artisan hien is overrated it will wear out within the year if you play on low sense and it has no edges stitching so it will peel, and it holds dust persistently.
you're somewhat misrepresenting fast mousepads here - when used to them and with good aim, they're not floaty and your flicks won't be worse, and your micro adjustments likely will benefit
Good video, I might try the Qck Heavy after my years old Qck plus, here is a comment I left on a similar video on a different channel: Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is. Why? I've been a long term Qck user (probably 6 years) and Artisan was widely mentioned lately and people generally talked bad about the Qck. I bought the "recommended" Artisan that's similar, but "better" than the Qck - the Zero. While it's an okay mousepad I'm so used to my Qck that I'm thinking about coming back to it. I'm very used to the strong stopping power the Qck provides, even in fast tracking games like Apex. The Artisan feels similar, but I always notice I'm missing that feel. I take care of my old Qck and I like the feel of it, never had a need to replace it, but I was really interested in the Artisan. You can get into a deep rabbit hole by getting into mousepads or you can stick to what works. And don't let me get started on "light mice are better for fps games". Like with everything, it's all preference.
@@DiamondLobbyReviews I was asking about mouse sensitivity not IQ. Edit: I just realized that the joke might be too complex, I was saying that you have 50 IQ, thus you think that 50 is high.
I have a bad mousepad. It's SO BAD that the downside works better than the upper side! I need a GOOD mouse pad that is smooth but can still detect my mouse EVERY tiny little twitch! The current one is smooth but barely detects mouse activity!
I can recommend you to try mouse pad by Dream Machines brand. The DM PAD XL by Dream Machines is the ultimate gaming mouse pad. Measuring 450x800x3 mm, it's made with high-quality microfibre material and features stitched edges for durability. The non-slip rubber base ensures it stays in place during intense gaming sessions, while the waterproof design keeps it looking great. Optimized for both speed and control, this mouse pad is compatible with laser and optical sensors, making it the perfect choice for serious gamers.
I've be using the steel series QCK heavy since I got a PC in 2016 while on 400 DPI and -2 windows pointer speed lol slow boy but still top leaderboards. Maybe I'll give one of these a go, maybe it's just another rabbit hole I don't want.
Really good video! I have a question. Right now i have a more than 2 year old gp4 black and looking to upgrade. I feel like the mat is stopping my mouse a bit too much when i try to move the mouse and change direction when aimng so it feels a bit stuttery. Ofc the pad is old and ive never cleaned it so i understand thats a big factor. Never changed skates on my 3 year old Hati s either. Ive looked at the memoria pro, lånespelare, saturn regular, gp4 colored and to maybe just buy a new gp4 black. I mainly play deceive inc if you know what it is? Theres both tracking and flicking so i want the best of both worlds. I dont really use the ”press the mouse down” when stopping a swipe. I use what i think is a lower sens but i dont really remember my cm per 360. Think around 38cm no ads and and around 66 ads. Actually think its a bit too slow when im not aiming but cant go higher because then i cant aim lol. ( dont really ads in deceive inc) Would you reccomend any of these pads or another?

Why is it that the standard mousepad is so small? I feel like at the bare minimum we should have more 20x20 pads.
genuine question, i dont machine wash my mousemats, but I'm just wondering how many mousemats are washable?
i see you mentioned xtrify being machine washable at 30c but does that mean others are washable at other temps or no?
most manufacturers should supply guides on how to clean and maintain their mousepads. if it doesnt say u can wash it, dont.
Good idea switch a Fnatic Dash XD to a LGG Saturn XXL ? 🤔
Improvements?
the qck donest have stitched edges, is it still durable?
what is this best for fortnie and valorant?
7:33 "Fantastic posture" 😂
I just bought the pulsefire L ,,,,,paired it with lamzu atlantis good combo
i have a 0.157 with 1600 dpi valorant and i like control which should i get ?
And medium sens?
Is Pulsefire Mat faster then gp4?
Need a aqivalent of the SteelSeries SteelPad 5L from 2006 ''dimensions and feel is what I'm used to''. Any ideas what comes close to this these days? Greets
What should i get if i play tactical shooters and fortnite
1. Artisan Zero
2. Artisan Hayate Otsu
3. Gamesense Radar
4. Zowie G-SR
What would you recommend for me. I play CS2 daily and i currently use the Qck Heavy but i dont like the quality. Should i get the Artisan Zero FX Soft, Vaxee PA of Zowie G-SR-SE Gris?
If you can buy an artisan, do it. They're unmatched
Im really looking for a white mouse pad like the fnatic dash what do you recomend?
Good Video
Doesn't mention:
-Razer Strider
-Artisan Hien
-Any glass pads (new superglide pad, skypad)
-LGG Saturn Pro
-probably others i'm too lazy
Glass pads are coming soon, this video is meant to help people (casuals) make a cost efficient choice.
artisan hien is overrated it will wear out within the year if you play on low sense and it has no edges stitching so it will peel, and it holds dust persistently.
Hey there, tiger ice vs corepads for the gsr2?
I want better micro ajustments but like the speed of glide
lol been using qck heavy for 4 years but want a new one since its getting kinda cooked
Corsair MM400 (hard plastic polymer) Best of both worlds. Try it and you will forget everything else
where is artisan, lgg pad
Does the GSR picks up humidity???? I live in a very humid place, my mousepads pick up humidity very fast and feels muddy.
yeah it does, i get quite sweaty so it will get sticky.
you're somewhat misrepresenting fast mousepads here - when used to them and with good aim, they're not floaty and your flicks won't be worse, and your micro adjustments likely will benefit
Good video, I might try the Qck Heavy after my years old Qck plus, here is a comment I left on a similar video on a different channel:
Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is.
What's high sensitivity?
50
@@DiamondLobbyReviews I was asking about mouse sensitivity not IQ.
Edit: I just realized that the joke might be too complex, I was saying that you have 50 IQ, thus you think that 50 is high.
No artisans? The gs-r would be so good if it only wouldn’t get muddy after 1 months
Damn War I knew I recongised that voice, the goat you still playing tf2?
I have a bad mousepad. It's SO BAD that the downside works better than the upper side! I need a GOOD mouse pad that is smooth but can still detect my mouse EVERY tiny little twitch! The current one is smooth but barely detects mouse activity!
I think that's more the fault of your mouse lol
@@omegaPhix Nope! I have a brand new mousepad and all problems are gone!
@@tzeffsmainchannel That doesn't exclude your mouse having a hard time picking up the texture of your old pad because of an inadequate sensor.
Artisan Raiden - Best Mouse Pad Ever Made
I can recommend you to try mouse pad by Dream Machines brand.
Nobody talks like that except a salesman and they're one of the top three groups you don't trust when they talk.
Hey! What about if i play both Tac and fast paced shooters? I have the Razer Viper V2 Pro if it helps.
I've be using the steel series QCK heavy since I got a PC in 2016 while on 400 DPI and -2 windows pointer speed lol slow boy but still top leaderboards.
Maybe I'll give one of these a go, maybe it's just another rabbit hole I don't want.
for me the best i have is the newskill themis pro cordura pad, i also have gigantus v2 but is so slow and i only play OW.
Wait till this guy hears about Artisan
Use sandpaper, lots of stopping power
I'm looking for one that's control and fast
My choice is Dream Machines XXL✌It's huuuuuuge
Answer - Buy a glass slab for best performance
Him not being able to line up sound foam is bugging me so I'm going to reject his opinion and move on to the next video.
How do you clean a Fnatic dash?
with walter
@@DiamondLobbyReviews i meant rag or sponge or something else
i used a non abrasive sponge + shower gel. it's always worked fine for me. make sure you let it air dry and lay it out flat.
What abt the artisan
0:04 it hurt me so bad🤣🤣
i am really doisapointed also suprised u didnt added steelserries...they are big quality in mousepads all over years
I am surprised and disappointed that you didn't watch all of the video :(
@@DiamondLobbyReviews i did..u said at the end,but ubdidnt mentioned in fhe best gaming options 😆
@@MrArrwstos4 because its bad
His mouse: am I a joke to you?
My sense is high 6.0 on 3600dpi
( dont really ads in deceive inc) Would you reccomend any of these pads or another?
mousepads for fortnite?
Instructions unclear, ordered both hien and zero😂
das nice idea for video, i dislike how u treat your plastic doe
0:27 omg bro
artisan supremacyyyy
2:16 standard Csgo player 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is mayonnaise a mousepad?

'Yo, D, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish, but IKEA had one of the best mouse pads of all time! One of the best pads of all time! LÅNESPELARE @ 7.99$!'
Razer Strider it's the best mousepad I ever had.
