what is best for games like valorant. mousepad with low or high static friction? and which mouse has it? artisan or saturn or any other? i like flicking fast. but i dont like speed or uncontrollable mousepads and i dont like mud pads
I will say this. I've gone through countless mousepads trying to find something that not only feels great out of the box, but continues to feel great and hold up over time. The LGG Saturn is the best pad I have ever played on hands down. I get pretty sweaty hands while gaming for any amount of time and nearly every other pad I've played on became a mud-pad after a few months of use. My LGG Saturn feels the same today (after nearly a year of use) as it did the day I got it. Phenomenal control pad that also has enough speed to get your mouse where it needs to be. Can't recommend the pad enough.
Personally I have a lgg saturn as well but it turned into a mud pad for me. The spot where my mouse is used more is much slower than the place it hasn't been used.
Artisan Zero Soft is jack of all trades for me. Super smooth glide and the control is amazing in any game I play. Valorant, Apex, Overwatch, lots of aim trainers
Ive tried lots of pads but I always come back to my Saturn Pro. Its just something about this surface that gives way more control than you would think just running your hand across it.
You like it more than an Artisan Zero? I am curious, do you think with the Saturn Pro being so similar that it is just the better version of the Artisan Zero? My FX Zero is almost here, got it right from them for like $65. But your video and the others I've been watching made me pre-order a Saturn Pro as well. Both the Artisan and Zero are coming in their Soft versions.

Last year I got myself a Saturn non Pro but never really enjoyed using it for CS and idk why, felt a bit too fast on the initial glide, so I decided to buy a QCK Heavy. Ho man, for some reason the QCK just feels perfect for Tact Shooters,
The Saturn Pro just checks all boxes for me. Red colorway, below surface stitching, insane durability, a soft comfy base, and a great overall surface for Valorant. I have a 500x500 coming in June and I don't see myself buying another pad until both of my Saturn are completely worn out mudpads.
@@trilecebey soft just because the first Saturn pro was soft and I had no issues with it. Also I learned with my artisans that xsoft does wear out faster and the harder the surface is, the more consistent it is (underneath the surface in the foam itself).
I have both the Saturn and Venus pro and I mostly play CS. I actually have been performing better with the Venus even though I mostly used control focused pads before. I’ve never had a textured pad before and I love the feedback it gives me. I still haven’t used the pads long enough to make a final verdict though.
Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is. Why? I've been a long term Qck user (probably 6 years) and Artisan was widely mentioned and people generally talked bad about the Qck. I bought the "recommended" Artisan that's similar, but "better" than the Qck - the Zero. While it's an okay mousepad I'm so used to my Qck that I'm thinking about coming back to it. I'm very used to the strong stopping power the Qck provides, even in fast tracking games like Apex. The Artisan feels similar, but I always notice I'm missing that feel. I take care of my old Qck and I like the feel of it, never had a need to replace it, but I was really interested in the Artisan. You can get into a deep rabbit hole by getting into mousepads or you can stick to what works. And don't let me get started on "light mice are better for fps games". Like with everything, it's all preference.
Great! Will have to whip out my Venus Pro again. Didn't spend time on it tbh before going with the Saturn Pro. The Saturn Pro is for sure my most used pad also... My top 5 goes: - Saturn Pro - Skypad 3.0 - Hayate Otsu soft - Raiden Xsoft - Dornfinger Cordura Speed
As a pc enthusiast but a fairly average gamer, I'd love to see a video comparing these higher end pads with the more mainstream offerings from HyperX, Corsair and Logitech. Thanks man.
I highly recommend the PA Black, it’s the QcK Heavy 2.0 with a better glide and more consistency. I tried everything from the GSR to the Gamesense Radar and a handful of other pads nothing comes close to the Heavy except for the PA Black. If Vaxee releases it with stitched edges in the future, it’ll be a 10/10 mousepad.
I've got the PA Black, I even mentioned it in the video! To me the slightly softer base of the QcK edged it over the PA Black and the PB, but they are all very similar pads.
Hi! I've been using the regular QcK for my whole quake career but I do have issues with slow spots, humidity changes and even temperature changes that may affect humidity of the slowspots. So I end up getting used to have a somewhat wore down surface that is slower than when it's new. So if I get a new one it takes me like 3 months before I get back go my baseline performance in game. So I'm thinking of getting a hybrid instead. And since I'm cheap I was planning on getting a odin gaming infinity hybrid pad. But that didn't make it to your top list? What pad are closest to the QcK? And are there any ones out there without stitched edges? I use high sens and use like a small area/the corner of the pad actually. I don't even rest my hand on the pad but instead on the desk. So I'm always close to the corner with the placement of my mouse. Stitched edges will interfere with the fact that I sometimes cross the edge of the pad with the top section of my mouse. Do you think it's possible go cut away the stiched edges without getting too much fraying?
So why do you prefer Saturn Pro over Artisan Zero (I recently bought an Artisan Zero to replace my old QCK Heavy and I also considered Saturn Pro but it was way more expensive to have it delivered here). Which one is slower, which one has more static friction and more dynamic friction?
Saturn pro is slower, not sure about the exact friction differences but i believe Saturn is easier to get the mouse moving, it doesn’t have an issue with hair like artisan, and comes in a bigger size. But I think if you’re happy with the zero just keep it cuz they’re both phenomenal pads you won’t be gaining or losing that much by getting one over the other

I just got the ZOWIE G-SR-SE Rouge, really loving it as it is the perfect balance between speed and control but I am just concerned about it's durability. Would you recommend any mousepad with a very similar feeling but more durable? Would the Artisan Zero Mid be a suitable option ?
Been maining the ac zero last couple months and love it. I may get the next size up bc I have the smallest version but I feel like I’ve gotten my best out of it
I already have a Logitech g pro super light and was wondering what are the best mouse skates you can get and I am most likely getting a Saturn pro mousepad if that helps
I'm using the qck+ right now with stitched edges and I think it's fairly underrated to. Holds up well. I've cleaned it once and it doesn't get dirty quick. It's not the thick version. It's a very consistent surface with basically zero break in. I think the majority of QCK durability issues was with the edges peeling up on older non stitched edge versions. I see a lot of people rank the fury s higher which I also have and it's trash. Very bumpy uneven surface that I'd put in dogshit tier for sure. Just ordered to aqua control 2 as I'm in Canada and it's one of the only S tier mouse pads I can get easily. Can also get artisan but have to wait a while and it costs like $120 CAD.
What about hayate otsu xsoft? You changed your mind about this mousepad since it's not on the list? cuz i watched your review today and im looking to buy any fast or medium fast mousepad and otsu was my way to go mousepad. Btw can you review the MPC450 mousepad? Jcobbb (new cs2 talent, i believe he was 2nd in faceit ranking) is using this mousepad so i wonder how good it is.

Can you help me in case of the differences for Saturn Pro series. I dont know the best way to go like xsoft, soft or mid. Using Artisan Zero xsoft for 1 year and in comp games i feel like the mouse is diggin into the pad so i cant move for flicks or adjustments. i highly dont want the same with the saturn pro. Does the xsoft of LLG Saturn Pro feels the same like the Artisan Zero xsoft?
Hi, I'm between the Razer Gigantus V2 Large mousepad and the Vaxee PA mousepad, which do you think is better? I don't care about the price difference, I mainly play valorant, cheers ^^
This actually convinced me to buy a QcK Heavy because shipping alone on the Saturn Pro ended up being $46 canadian which is the cheapest option (yikes).
It provides more feedback than the Saturn Pro, and with most feet it also feels slower than the Saturn Pro. The difference in speed is fairly small though, the difference in feedback is massive.
my LGG Venus has more static friction than my QCK. Both by feel and if i measure it with a tilt test. It's an old QCK from around 2015 though, maybe the new ones are different
Pretty sure just the plushness of the mousepad and base. Same differences with artisan soft vs xsoft, the softer it is the deeper you can push into the mousepad meaning more stopping power and slower but can be a bit inconsistent if you push pressure by accident
Its nice u bring up the qck heavy cause im looking for replacement for it and i was planning to buy a original lgg saturn cause boardzy told that the og lgg saturn was slower than the saturn pro but in your review the saturn pro is the slower one. Now im really confuse which is really slower and closer to qck heavy pls help 😢

I just bought an artisan zero should i cancel and get a saturn pro, i heard the zero is a bit faster so i opted for that what would you think. I have the original Saturn and its a bit too slow for me but my hien is too fast.
The artisan zero is a great pad, and if the og saturn is already too slow for you then the Saturn pro will only be the same if not slower so I’d say get the zero but both are phenomenal pads

I like the Esportiger longteng special edition "2" for the smooth and control glide. it was listed as a super slow pad , but in my mind the QCK Heavy and some other pads are much slower as this. I would like to test the Vaxxee PA pads one time maybe with if a new wireless mouse of them released.
how come Haus doesn't like the Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft? it's better than Hien and Zero so surely it is quite on par with Saturn Pro Soft (which is also an amazing pad).
What do you mean "it's better than Hien and Zero"? This is an incredibly subjective opinion. My preference is at this moment more towards the control end of balance!

I bought the AC Zero based on this recommendation and I don't know if it was just my unit but, the mousepad is completely unusable if I press into it. Messed up my spray control for days until I realised it was the mousepad. It would just slow down infinitely the more pressure you put into it. Otherwise the speed and control were perfect.
an update to this - I got used to the mouse and it's a great mouse for speed and microadjustments but it does have a slightly slow tug when adjusting over longer distances. feels like an actually controlled version of the Artisan Zero

G-SR-SE Rouge should be fairly durable! It's a great option imo. Zero Mid is also nice, but I don't like the surface as much as the G-SR-SE.
@@hausgaming noted, thanks for your reply man and keep up with the good content !
Been maining the ac zero last couple months and love it. I may get the next size up bc I have the smallest version but I feel like I’ve gotten my best out of it
Does the venus pro feel like the razer strider?
I already have a Logitech g pro super light and was wondering what are the best mouse skates you can get and I am most likely getting a Saturn pro mousepad if that helps
I play rust
not surprised to see SS Heavy, pretty decent mouse pad with good speed/control ratio
Jcobbb (new cs2 talent, i believe he was 2nd in faceit ranking) is using this mousepad so i wonder how good it is.
how is the qck heavy now? has it lost consistency?
i value consistency and feeling of the pad. loving my gp4 (black) and wont change soon :)
GP4 kinda fire as well!
What ur thinking about the Endgame Gear MPC890 ?
do you think the GPW feet are better feeling all around than the GPX stock style skates? trying to decide, ive used both mice and from memory the GPW felt smoother overall
I would go for the soft, or even mid with the Saturn Pro if you dislike the XSoft!
Which is least affected by humidity ?
How's your opinion on the phoenix se changed?
Hi, I'm between the Razer Gigantus V2 Large mousepad and the Vaxee PA mousepad, which do you think is better? I don't care about the price difference, I mainly play valorant, cheers ^^
would you recommend one of these pads for someone who spends a lot of time improving mouse control and mainly plays games like overwatch and quake?
Any one of these is good for that!
This actually convinced me to buy a QcK Heavy because shipping alone on the Saturn Pro ended up being $46 canadian which is the cheapest option (yikes).
That’s actually really cheap for the Saturn pro
@@tinocabral4201 The mousepad is $77 + $46 shipping.
@@jcross1215 yikes I thought you meant 46 total, yeah that’s a lot, just misread it
Which has slower glide/more control, Saturn pro or Vaxee pa/GSR SE rouge?
Is the QCK Heavy logo still scratchy (and therefore that part not really usable), like it used to be back in the day?
Yes it is!
Are qck heavy and qck edge the same?
Nice video!! So the ac zero is slower than Saturn pro?
It provides more feedback than the Saturn Pro, and with most feet it also feels slower than the Saturn Pro. The difference in speed is fairly small though, the difference in feedback is massive.
@@hausgaming what is feedback in mouse pads? stopping action?
Is the QCK heavy good against humidity?
What about the hayate otsu?
my LGG Venus has more static friction than my QCK. Both by feel and if i measure it with a tilt test.
It's an old QCK from around 2015 though, maybe the new ones are different
Do you not like the Artisan Hyate Otsu anymore?
I have just one question what is the differences between the saturn pro soft vs xsoft
Are you sure boardzy said that? Pretty sure most reviews would agree with the Pro being slower!
Taas hieno video!
Pro-version saatavuus on tosiaan huono tällä hetkellä! PA on myös loistava matto ja muutenkin hyviä vaihtoehtoja on ihan älytön määrä
I just bought an artisan zero should i cancel and get a saturn pro, i heard the zero is a bit faster so i opted for that what would you think. I have the original Saturn and its a bit too slow for me but my hien is too fast.
The artisan zero is a great pad, and if the og saturn is already too slow for you then the Saturn pro will only be the same if not slower so I’d say get the zero but both are phenomenal pads
is there a difference between the vaxee pa and the vaxee pa customizable pads?
No!
On your mouse pad tier list from two years ago you rated the QcK heavy lowest down on the list?! What have changed since?
Didn't I explain it here? Most likely some silent changes have been made, as the durability is not horrific anymore! It used to be really bad.
Is Venus Pro Xsoft or Saturn Pro Xsoft/soft better for Fortnite?
Probably Venus cuz that’s a faster paced game compared to a tac fps
Though Saturn pro will be very good on it but I think Venus pro is a bit better for that specific game
@@tinocabral4201 Thank you!
But I ended up getting both Artisan FX Zero Soft XL Orange and Hayate Otsu Mid XL Black
Where is the Artisan Hayate Otsu?
Is the normal saturn worth getting cause the pro is still not available or should I get something else?
Most people will say yes, saturn is very good and very similar to the pro from what I’ve heard, pro is just upgraded but Saturn is just as good if you’re on a budget
For us Europeans Saturn Pro is like 75 EUR through MG lol? Would you still recommend Artisan Zero over it ?
Hmm, is the shipping that high for you? For most of Europe it's like 55 euros or so?
does the gsr se Rouge slow down fast?
What size are you using
Hey dude, just stumbled across your channel and appreciating the mouse/mousemat content. I'm making a comment because I also come from a cod4 background and was quite high up in the scene. Did you play promod on PC I assume? Was your alias Haus back then too? I can't recall anybody with that name but it's obviously been a while!
Anyways, just curious, as soon as I heard that I subscribed, cod4 holds a special place in my heart!

My nickname was kammyz! Played for TEK9 and Reason Gaming for example
I like the Esportiger longteng special edition "2" for the smooth and control glide. it was listed as a super slow pad , but in my mind the QCK Heavy and some other pads are much slower as this. I would like to test the Vaxxee PA pads one time maybe with if a new wireless mouse of them released.
Whats your thoughts on g-sr black version? I rly hope they update it soon
It's too slow for my liking!
Should I preorder the Saturn pro in soft or xsoft?
I'd get whatever matches the current base, when you did not have any options for selection!
yo haus what would you say the dynamic and static friction of the ac zero is like in comparisson to the gsr-se? would you say its a slower pad?
This is an excellent list🔥, but the list we really need - what do you use for the hair and beard?
lmao bro, actually BadSeedTech beard oil for beard!
how come Haus doesn't like the Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft? it's better than Hien and Zero so surely it is quite on par with Saturn Pro Soft (which is also an amazing pad).
What do you mean "it's better than Hien and Zero"? This is an incredibly subjective opinion. My preference is at this moment more towards the control end of balance!
@@hausgaming Zero is a pet hair/ dust magnet, hard to clean. Hien has a rougher texture that can be uncomfortable to sensitive skin. I think the Otsu is more balanced.
preordered the saturn pro. gonna be replacing my aqua control plus
love my artisan zero soft, i found the qck heavy to not last long at all.
100% agreed that qck heavy is a great and nowadays underrated pad
I don’t think I’ll ever be as dialed in with a pad like I was with my qck heavy many many years ago.
It's bad now, just get an artisan zero at this point
@@strvy it’s definitely not a bad pad, it’s not worth it for the original price but you can find those discounted often and that’s when they’re worth it
@@sml_tech still a better investment, you can always get the money back fast
@@strvyI wreck artisan andies with my qck :p
You setup looks very slick, good quality videos. Thanks for the advice, i have the hayate otsu soft now, do you think it is worth getting the saturn pro as well?
Thanks bro! If you want a more controlled pad, then yes!
I'm still using the endgame mpc450 from your recommendation way way back
Why not Havu mousepad?
I bought the AC Zero based on this recommendation and I don't know if it was just my unit but, the mousepad is completely unusable if I press into it. Messed up my spray control for days until I realised it was the mousepad. It would just slow down infinitely the more pressure you put into it. Otherwise the speed and control were perfect.
Many mousepads have that as a feature. The thicker they are the more you can dig in for more control. Maybe you would enjoy a harder pad.
an update to this - I got used to the mouse and it's a great mouse for speed and microadjustments but it does have a slightly slow tug when adjusting over longer distances. feels like an actually controlled version of the Artisan Zero
Wondering about the Lamzu Energon so just curious as why you included it in the honorable mentions? Isn't it a faster pad than the Hayate Otsu
Not faster than the Otsu imo! I more so mentioned Energon & ES2 because they are new and promising pads for what I've tested them. But I don't form a proper opinion about a mousepad before EXTENSIVE use these days. I tried to make this clear when talking about the honorable mentions!
@@hausgaming that's interesting, i thought the energon's speed was similar to the raidens! will you be uploading a review on the lamzu eventually?
You forgot to mention vx pa isn't humidity resistant, and I believe it even has a coating! rouge takes the cake imo (Amazon availability, too).
PA does not have a coating and if it has humidity problems, they are there with the Rouge as well. As I said, in my environment I don't really struggle with any humidity issues :)
Venus pro looking mighty interesting!
