unfortunately i disagree with your takes on glasspads overall. they are BY FAR the most maintenance heavy pads IMO, due to them having to be perfectly dust free to be useable. They also have a very unique feel that will be exactly what some people are looking for. so saying that the main upside of a glasspad is low maintenance is misleading IMO.

over 20 years i've used razer mantis speed, razer goliathus, qck heavy, roccat taito, zowie gtf-x before, now on artisan hayate otsu soft - > 100% worth the price, hands down the best pad (for me at least), perfect balance between speed and control, never gonna look back! although the gtf-x apart from the curled edges really grew on me

Warning: Razer Atlas has a nasty side effect with soft plastic mouse skates like Corepads where they will rub into the glass and leave residue, developing slow spots. I recommend using harder PTFE skates like Obsidians.
Had the QCK XXL for a very long time, only default was not being stitched, picked recently a waizowl falcon who was on sale to try something softer and i really enjoy it, it feels a little bit faster but a lot more control than the QCK, obviously.
it's not the same glide as the g sr 2 but the rogue is also technically new, it's an updated version of the old g sr pads same with the gris and the bi. They dont make the old se's anymore so anything you find that isnt resale thats an se will be updated.
Unfortunately any mousepad that's under 60cm in width is just too small for me. I constantly go off the sides with anything smaller. I wish 60x50cm was a more common size. Right now it seems like la onda is the only brand that takes this size serious. That said I'm very satisfied with the Blitz soft and I think anyone who plays low sens should check out their pads.

Maybe in a different colour - have the blue and red one.

One of the few recommendations for the Strikepad Pro. Bought one a while ago and will give it a go with some CoD. Seems fairly smooth. Unfortunately my packaging came a little dented, and pad a little as well. But it doesn't seem to affect performance. Also have a few PK Control pads - Speed, Game and Control plus and they are all pretty decent. Fairly cheap too and high quality.

In my opinion speedpads are always better than control pads because they force you to fix your bad aiming habits IF you are willing to put up with it's learning curve. I also reccomend that you start with a plastic pad instead of a glasspad because they're inexpensive.Glasspads are a big investment in something you might not like.
I never understood stitched edges. I used to have one and the feeling of it was awful I hated the slightly elevated edge rubbing against my forearm, it also hurt a tiny bit from time to time after playing alot. I switched over to the GSR-SE and it's perfect feels so much better (might be my adhd/autistic brain having a play in it too)

Funny enough, I have been using the same Coolermaster MP510 cordura mousepad for like 5 years. I wash it often and it's just as consistent as it was new.

Go over it gently for a few minutes. Fully rinse and then wash it with just clean running water. Finally, dry it off flat on a table with a towel under it for a full day!

qck is trash and old gamepad.. glass are so weird and expensive.. think fnatic dash or focus are good balanced mousepad.. same for the g640 but u need to prepare to change it fast cause is not durable. ive tried also the zowie and man is the fastest return on amazon, that very soft base is very annoying. mouse get stuck in the wave of mousepad and it is a missed opportunity cause the surface smoothness was great. it also suffer a lot the humidity.. not good at all.

use hand soap and make sure it's all out of the pad before letting it dry, dont overcomplicate it (deleted the old response bc it sounded rude my bad)
Just wash it with soap non abrasive tool like cloth or soft sponge then wash through again to get the soap out

just got mine a few days ago. crazy that a $24 pad can feel so clean and smooth. with both glass skates and PTFE, it's just effortless glide.

qck is trash and old gamepad.. glass are so weird and expensive.. think fnatic dash or focus are good balanced mousepad.. same for the g640 but u need to prepare to change it fast cause is not durable. ive tried also the zowie and man is the fastest return on amazon, that very soft base is very annoying. mouse get stuck in the wave of mousepad and it is a missed opportunity cause the surface smoothness was great. it also suffer a lot the humidity.. not good at all.

Got one. Too fast for val or cs. Also the x is fast and unpredictable when its on the stitching. You never know when the mouse is going to speed up
@@ItsLukeDude u probably just didn't spend enough time to get used to it, either that or its just not your thing. I use a raiden mid on both val and cs and have a decently high hs% especially on cs so definitely not too fast for tac fps

@@ItsLukeDude its not too fast tho. ur control is too bad. u have to give it time and practice. when u have less friction from the pad you will have to develop technique where the stopping power comes more from technique and less from the friction of the pad.
