I LOVE the Galarian Bird's entries. It's like someone once heard about a trio of birds in myth, saw these, and then just went 'Oh yeah, these totally are the ones!' It's a super cool concept to think about. Few people EVER see legendaries. So if you see something super strong for the first time that just happens to be 'close enough'? It's like how you can describe an electric dog pokemon and confuse boltund and manetric.
26:17 The pokédex information is mostly collected by 10-year-olds sooo... +I think the legendary birds' entries are just saying where their names come from, but your theory is very interesting.

@@Warriorcat_UA-cam Problem with that is that Galar did not recognize those Legendary Birds... but the Kanto versions are apparently well known in Galar.... @@TheDeathmail Big agree with BigPinkPoop, I've never heard of that last part? The Pokedex's imply the people of Crown Tundra called them those names, and while I have yet to read the Kanto birds pokedex's, I figured the Galar birds's dex was in reference to Crown Tundra mythology, hence the legend of the tree and the birds mission? If not, perhaps the birds are just named such in reference to the Kanto birds, however I feel like again the dex entries would directly acknowledge that more than they might now.
from what I understand on Exploud's Pokedex Entry is that they uses it like a "Microphone" or a "Megaphone" by talking through the hole Swablu's wings color is blue, it's obvious
Another crazy/disturbing entry: an alolan marowak entry says almost something like this “if the flame touches someone, they will have mental and physical pain forever”
I think Aerodactyl's entry is a nod to the fact when people "restore" fossils to try and see what the original looked like, they tend to not add things like fat, feathers, and other things beyond what they can envision in the bone. If it didn't have bony spines, it didn't have spines- this could be true about Aerodactyl, as the rock wouldn't have bone to stay behind, and would probably disintegrate or become one with the rock the fossils were found in. As for Golbat, irl vampire bats do the same! Bats are very social creatures, so they live in big groups and share meals via regurgitation if it notices one of the group isn't eating enough.
Crazy theory What if once there were 6 (or more) hatchling pokemon relates to Lugia, like.. Lugia raised them? 3 of them somehow (maybe stones) evolved into Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Then others wanted to be just like them, but didn't liked that types, they migrated and landed in Galar, where they evolved to those, which is why they look similar... so what if one day we will get another trio... maybe: Water Flying, Poison Flying and Steel Flying (don't ask why those types) Which also could answer why only Lugia can stop those 3 from fighting (Also because they didn't liked eachother (like typical siblings xd) they can't breed so those hatchlings pokemons won't hatch anymore)
15:09 peppered moths turned from white to black from industrial revolution smog and then a decrease lead to white which the decrease is likely referenced
27:09 This made me think. After the reveal of Wigglett, Convergent species are revealed. And it is stated that Convergent species are not regional variants but totally different pokemon. So is it possible that the Galarian birds are not regional variants but instead, CONVERGENT SPECIES?
So in regards to Scizor, remember it is a bug type. Bugs move their limbs through a biological version of hydraulics. If he is wielding a 42 lb vise like claw made of metal, and has a hydraulics to move it, then it is likely that the thing is akin to real life Jaws of Life (extraction tools) the heaviest of which I can find is merely half the weight of Scizor's claws. Meaning it likely has twice the cutting ability. The heaviest one I can find is at 6744lb per sq in. So if we make assumption that it is half the weight and half the strength, Scizor would be cutting materials at 13488 lbs per sq in. or 92.5nm/mm2 This means it would come up short of crushing all boulders, but something made of conglomerate rock gather from a glacial slide would easily fall into its strength.

@@kittyjeany Notice in the map that theIsle of Armor and the Crown Tundra are very far from each other. I don’t think Kingdra or Dragonite are going to travel across the entire ocean just for wasting their time fighting each other.
@@thehappysuma3067 yeah i noticed.
Who knows in the end? My guess is, there are either still other dragonite and kingdra living in the ocean or they used to live there and migrated somewhere else, away from each other.
Or, maybe dragonites flew over the ocean, but are living and landing specifically in the tundra for whatever reason, but whenever they went for a flying trip, they crossed the kingdra. It is said in the dex, that dragonite flies over the seas and rescues drowning people.
So what if a ship is caught up in a storm, kingdra also appears, dragonite by chance flies over the sea, to rescue the sailors and gets caught up in a fight with kingdra, because it thinks, dragonite wants to fight for territory?
Does this sound more plausible to you?

Calyrex: I am everything, yet nothing all in one....
Fun fact: According to Murkrow's Ultra Sun dex entry, Gabite is a jewel collector and Murkrow often enter Gabite dens to steal the treasures.
I think it’s a jab at his the British just steal everyone else’s ideas
"were they gray like storm clouds or were they random like purple" was my favorite quote
Mikey's comment about Swablu makes me really want a variant of the line where they're flying/electric and have thunderstorm wings.
26:17 The pokédex information is mostly collected by 10-year-olds sooo...
+I think the legendary birds' entries are just saying where their names come from, but your theory is very interesting.
It is also possible that it implies that the Galarian forms are perhaps the originals and the Kantonian birds are darwinian evolutions to the kantonian environment
@@Warriorcat_UA-cam Problem with that is that Galar did not recognize those Legendary Birds... but the Kanto versions are apparently well known in Galar.... Galar knows about the Kanto versions... but the Galar versions were called the names because Peony thought they looked similar enough. That's literally the ONLY reason they have the names they do...
And they only appeared when ultra wormholes connecting to other dimensions appeared...
@@TheDeathmail Wait is there a source for that last part? That’s really interesting.
If not, perhaps the birds are just named such in reference to the Kanto birds, however I feel like again the dex entries would directly acknowledge that more than they might now.
from what I understand on Exploud's Pokedex Entry is that they uses it like a "Microphone" or a "Megaphone" by talking through the hole

Wait a minute... Does that mean Galarian Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno AREN'T actually Regional Variants, but rather _convergent evolutions?_
I’m so confused how garchomp can fly
1:36 Maybe this is a hint for a past paradox dunsparce
The whole thing with Archen jumping well makes me think of that one Samurai Jack episode with the monkey-like man who was like, “Not fly. Jump good!”
Crazy theory
What if once there were 6 (or more) hatchling pokemon relates to Lugia, like.. Lugia raised them?
3 of them somehow (maybe stones) evolved into Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Then others wanted to be just like them, but didn't liked that types, they migrated and landed in Galar, where they evolved to those, which is why they look similar... so what if one day we will get another trio... maybe:
Water Flying, Poison Flying and Steel Flying (don't ask why those types)
Which also could answer why only Lugia can stop those 3 from fighting
(Also because they didn't liked eachother (like typical siblings xd) they can't breed so those hatchlings pokemons won't hatch anymore)
Mikey: how does cryogonal survive

Petilil and Lilligant should have an ability that removes it's Bug weakness when it's burnt... or makes Grass moves super effective against Bug
@@deinonychus1948 Or both.
And/or have a signature Grass Type Move that is super effective on Bug Types .
So Aerodactyl is actually Proto Aerodactyl and Mega Aerodactyl is actually Aerodactyl?
So in regards to Scizor, remember it is a bug type. Bugs move their limbs through a biological version of hydraulics. If he is wielding a 42 lb vise like claw made of metal, and has a hydraulics to move it, then it is likely that the thing is akin to real life Jaws of Life (extraction tools) the heaviest of which I can find is merely half the weight of Scizor's claws. Meaning it likely has twice the cutting ability. The heaviest one I can find is at 6744lb per sq in. So if we make assumption that it is half the weight and half the strength, Scizor would be cutting materials at 13488 lbs per sq in. or 92.5nm/mm2
This means it would come up short of crushing all boulders, but something made of conglomerate rock gather from a glacial slide would easily fall into its strength.

The dex entry for Salamence correlates to older dex entries for Bagon, trying to learn to fly by jumping off cliffs.
