I was 16 for grunge and the era has completely defined me as a now 45 year old. Man, it was a good time to be alive
💫🤷♀️IKR....👁️ Miss them sooo much.1💙💫
Baby boomer good times in early 70s, got redefined in another round of good timss through my kids grunge
90-94 was a bad ass time to be alive if you like this kind of music
Damn, it really sucks missing a time period I wasn’t even alive for.
rocks gonna make a huge comeback
Crazy reading your comment then looking at your picture. You look like a middle aged man. Guess I'm realizing how old I really am lol. I listened to this live on radio
Yes it was a great time although we all didn't have powerful, internet enabled computers in our pockets back then...
Yeah, you missed the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. Rock is listened to by white people, and whites are disappearing. That means rock is dying
my prime! great times!
Guitarist is an underrated Rock genius✔️
One of the most underrated rock bands
Underrated? Not in my lifetime .
Dude chewing gum and still able to sing flawlessly. Amazing.
We miss you Scott say hi to Layne for us.
I saw them shortly after Core was released, 2 weeks before their first TV appearance on SNL. They were opening for the Rollins Band in Boston at the Channel. After their set, I was drinking next to Robert DeLeo, and told him that I loved their music or something like that. I was really struck by how appreciative he seemed to be of my comment. 29 years later, his graciousness and kindness to a fan is still remembered.
I live in the town next to where the DeLeo bros grew up.
Scott fuckin' Weiland ladies and gents
Such a return to form for Scott. I think his range and power was near its peak during this short time period. Wish it all lasted a little longer.
Brutal sounding guitar in this one. Great band! Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
What a voice. What a tune.
Owen Wilson had a great rhythm going on the drums
Piece of gold lost in the sky of time.
Beautiful humans making beautiful music
Was literally listening to this song while driving yesterday.
Love that Howard digs Rock and always gave it a stage . Btw Light speed Scott Weiland 👏
He was such a great singer& front man RIP Scott
Childhood idol! RIP Scott
Cheers 2021
Absolutely amazing song
Remember listening this while driving around on GTA
God that guitar player is THE SHIT
The DeLeo brothers are very very talented guitarists/bassists
Was thinking the same thing. He's really damn good. Scott sounded good, but I was more focused on what the guitarist was doing.
Being a teen in the 90s was the best. Great music
Stone Temple Pilots with Scott Weiland as Lead singer...Dynamic to say the least..Great tune & Fantastic Performance. ********!
I was not expecting this, but I'm glad. This is awesome!
Good grief, I miss the 90's, STP, that voice. (R.I.P. Scott)... ☮️
Rest easy Scott still one of my favs
BEST BAND UNDERRATED FROM 90’s
Made me feel young again. Miss you scott! Gone too soon!
I miss you, Scott
Was just in a STP mood. Thanks!!!
One of the GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BANDS! Scott is simply unbelievable but so are the DeLeo brothers. And Kretz style on the drums. Front to back bad asses!¡ Rest easy Scott..🙏🏻
What a fucking talent! RIP Scott
Such a loss...this was phenomenal performance...he just had such a great personna...
First things first I love STP and they deserve all the credit in the world, but my god every artist who plays in Howard's studio sounds at their absolute best. This sound equipment is incredible. God bless anyone who's involved in making all of these performances sound so excellent.
Thumbs up if STP is your undisputed favourite band!
thumbs up, but they are not. :D
Wow, 2000? Seems so long ago now.. 😐
someone went thru the archives another song of generation
_Core_ is gonna be 30 years old next year... 👀
Ages ago brah
Waaaay too long ago. I’d give anything to go back to those days.
1973 is much longer ago
Magnificent, as always! Miss you Scotty
Greatest rock song ever
You’re kidding me!! This is awesome!
Can't believe Scott's gone :(
3:10-3:14 my heart stops every single time ❤
At 1:50 I love how dean kinda pushed in Scott by mistake and that’s too adorable❤️💚💜💙💛
Dean had too many meatballs with a delectable and creamy alfredo sauce
The melody man!
Favorite band. Really excited to see this show up in my feed.
Man I miss this Scott!!!!
Scott had just got out of Jail and sobered up a bit! Damn he sounded good
Holy shit so fucking good !!!
This brings me back to childhood listening to DC 101 & trying to be caller #10 at the sound of the ticket booth
90s to the early 2000s grunge had some of the best vocalist known to man
So sad. Scott was a great singer. Him and Dave Grohl two people who could sing with gum . Trust me it's almost impossible
Don’t forget Jimmy Hendrix
:)
This era was their peak to me.
The first band I ever saw live was their last performance in Dallas Tx on their Tiny Music Tour. "Barbarella" changed my life.
Man... how I miss this
Uma das melhores musicas do STP 👏👏👏
Thanks Howard! Sad I never saw them live
rockstars!
Miss those guys 🙏
GREAT. Omg. Thank you
When Howard says "look at you, look at you" I believe he's saying to Scott after getting out of jail, look at you - sober and kicking ass -( a judge put him jail to get him of heroine, after being busted several times for possession and it worked for a while )
Scott was the best
RIP Scott.....tragedy.
miss you Scott
Kick ass right on! Many thanks!
Maravilhoso!!!!!Grande banda, grande vocalista e grande música!
Been waiting for this ❤️🤘
Great band!
saw STP at the Garden along time ago, Steve Tyler and Joe Perry showed up and played a few songs with them.
August 2010 Toronto STP and Cage the Elephant- mosh pit - it was A M A Z I N G S H O W !!!!!
Holy neck bend Batman! 0:34
Thanks Howard.......

Didn't know Owen Wilson played drums for stp
Damn beat me to it
First
"I carved it all by hand from one piece of wood"

Nice (in KC’s voice)
Noyecee
Lol! Ever since KC, that’s the only voice I can hear when anyone says that.
❤❤❤
Scott's our dad 🤘🔥🤘
Please release the Seven Caged Tigers video if there is any !
I regret not buying Core when I had the chance a couple years ago. Shit was like $5, worth way more probably.
I fucking love this channel
Great band! STP and Pearl Jam are the best grunge bands ever
🤘🏼🕊️

Wow! Didn't know Owen Wilson plays the drum!!
👏
RIP Scott!! Just didn’t make it in life, so sorry buddy!! 😓☹️
Bout fucking time they released this
Howard Stern is a fucking cool guy.
Mine vonderyears!
That was Scott at his prime!
This era of music was amazing and I was born in 2003 and being raised on Metallica and megadeath kind of turned me off to rock for awhile until about 2017 when I discovered STP and Pearl Jam
I thought I saw this already
RIP
What setting was that electric guitar in? Is that distortion?
Dat chord progression.
Seven caged tiguers plis @howardstern, 1996 at your studio.
